Minecraft Account Name: Rosie_Rose
How old are you?: Sixteen.
Time-Zone: EST
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?:
Yes, I have.
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?:
A few years back I played Lotc quite a bit. Now I'm just getting back to Minecraft. I'm making a new character because my Human by now obviously has died of old age.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?:
First found it on the Minecraft forums.
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server:
N/a
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above):
Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?:
It's been a two years and I tried my best to brush up on Elven lore, though the wiki seems to be updating or remade for Anthos.
Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing:
Role-playing is something I've done most of my teen years, it's a game that truly requires you to think and step into the shoes of your own created character. I like to think of it as acting but with much more depth and lore weaved into it. In short; It's taking on the role of the character you create to play in a scenario.
Meta-gaming:
It's taking Out-of-Character information and using it In-Character. It is an obvious way of cheating, your character can only know what he/she sees and learns. Also Meta can also be "mind reading" unless you have that ability you can't see what the other thinks or masks.
Power-emoting:
This is the one that really peeves me. Someone who plays their character and never wants to lose, giving no chance for the other to counter and just forces them along into whatever they want to accomplish. That and never being able to damage them. I think I speak for the true gamers of any form when I say that a game is never fun without challenge or risk.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Rosie Thornium.
Current Age: Eighteen.
Sub-race (if any): Unknown, mixed genetics.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Rosie was a strange one; she was orphaned and a cross-bred. Nobody knew her parents or where they were at, so they couldn't tell exactly which genes she had. Though it was obvious that she was Elven with her pointed ears and nimble body.
She grew up in Malinor and quickly learned how to fend for her self, both in trading and survival once out of infant years. Wandering in the forests; hunting or gathering was her specialty, being agile and quick on her feet made traveling in the forest with ease. Also her small height gave her an advantage for hiding. In other times at Malinor she would seek knowledge and books to keep sharp, knowing how to communicate with others properly was important to her. Even though Rosie had difficulty hiding her childish and care-free nature. Also learning herbal and medical skills from the countless books and practices, she had an interest for healing.
She felt now that she was old enough to atleast explore more of Anthos. Her curious nature mostly would get her into trouble often, though in the end things would work out and she made it through.
Finally when the day came Rosie packed a few essentials and set off to begin paving a life for her self,
going to experience life to its fullest good or whether it would turn nightmarish. Knowing the consequences and gains there was to experience and excited for it all.
Ambitions for the Future:
Rosie wants to make a life for her self, no matter how little or big it will turn out. It was time now that she has matured enough to fend for her self, she isn't going to wait any longer. Being determined to play her part in the world. She isn't exactly sure what to aim for though, her first goal would be learning how to put her skills to good use, then she could work from there.
Personality:
Rosie is determined to carry on, through good and bad. She is hard to upset or depress, shruging most things off making it hard to aggravate her even in the slightest for long. She also didn't like judge others, no matter what they have done. Even the most jaded could have one weak point. The most noticable is her childish quirks, care-free and always seeming to want to have fun to the point of being moronic. Rosie likes to believe in "miracles" though to her everything is a miracle, being confused when others can't reconize the beauty of them all.
Skills:
Through long reading and practicing for a year and a half she has basic knowledge in herbal and medical arts. Still studying and working hard to improve what little she knows. From learning stitch-work she had the ability to sew clothes together, though she had a habit of only making cloyhing out of dark fabric.
Also agile and fleet-footed from exploring and hunting in the forests, her smaller height working to her advantage as well.
Sometimes Rosie likes to sketch pictures with a piece of charcoal on paper in her spare time, despite how many books she has read she could never write anything that made much sense. Finding it easier
to express her thoughts through images instead and eventually became skilled at it.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
Rosie is short and slim in stature, being 5"2 and weighing less than seventy pounds. She was a mix breed though the only true thing she can be connected to is being Elven, having pointed ears that are mildly floppy. Her coloring was an oddity, having jet-black hair streaked with white strands and her eyes a light grey. For her apparel she had sewn her self a dark dress with shorts beneath it and still wearing boots for terrain travel. Trying to find a good balance to help in all of her skills.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
*Rosie sighed tiredly, it saddened her slightly that the elders appeared to lack wisdom and respect. She watched the scene through brush wondering what happened and what went wrong. Becoming spaced out before noticing the child had ran off, clearly upset. She quickly followed after the young Elven boy until he finally stopped to sit by a trunk of a tree to cry. Rosie immediately dropping in front of him from the branches above with a small smile, leaning towards him with her hands on her hips.*
Greetin- *She was cut off right at the greeting part. The boy shouting at her angrily.* Have you come here to mock me too?! Just go back to the others and save your breath!
*She blinked a few times as she stood straight up, making an "x" with her arms in front of her.*
Whooooa!~ ...I'm not here to poke fun at you, more wondering why the elders have degraded themselves to this level...~ Why were they making fun of you like that?~
*The boy was still upset in defensive, you could still hear it in his tone.* Fine, fine! I wanted to make something of myself, become a diplomat... even though my low inheritance and poor family... *Staring down at the ground, steaming in his own frustration. Rosie knew that even if the odds were against someone that it could still happen, trying a shot at encouraging him.*
Who in all the air in their heads and miracles in the sky would care what they say?~ *Giggling softly as she gave a light shrug.* I think they're the ones going to never do anything with their lives... besides, it's nothing but mindless chatter.~ The morons can't even open their minds to see past even a leaf!~
*The boy stared wide eyed up at her, he couldn't help but to smile weakly. Though still not that cheered up it was at least something to hold onto.* Heh... I guess so, though what if they're right? *His gaze lowering back to the floor. Rosie giggled childishly again.* I've read of many that work their way from what little they have... even rulers of way back then.~ It's more than possible if you would be able to use everything you have to achieve being a diplomat.~ *Smirking at him as the boy's eyes went back to look at hers, looking baffled with some slight hope given back to him.*
*Rosie would then talk some more with the boy learning his name and a bit about his family, promising to give the boy support in his efforts at his diplomacy career before parting ways for the time being. She was be interesting to see how it plays out for him and planning to stay with him for the journey.*
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
*Her eyes widened, this was the perfect opportunity for the thieving scum and she planned to ruin that chance before one of them came along. Hurrying over to him and sitting him up, making sure he was alright and if the 'ole man thumped his head too hard. He waved her off, being a defiant old man. I'll be
fine, I'm tougher than I look young'in.
*He sure was too, despite how frail and clumsy he was he wobbled back onto his feet. Gathering up the coins with some struggle and effort, Rosie offering to help and then proceeding to. By the end of it the old man chuckled.* "Seems there still is some hope for you generation. *Rosie couldn't help but to giggle.* Heehee, need any help getting to where you're going?~ I wouldn't want you breaking something...
*The old man was stubborn, refusing the help. Rosie just kept pushing it on him and followed him anyway, making sure he got to the port safely. By the end of the travel he thanked her for it even though he didn't need any help. Then setting off back to his home land.*
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
*Rosie quickly scanned over the wares, noticing the fabrics and eyeing them as the trader notices.* Ah, yes! That one may be costly though... It'll be 100 minas. Made and dyed by the finest materials from the human Kingom.
*Rosie didn't have that much, just almost though too without having to sacrifice food money. It was a good thing haggling was on the table.* Uhm, I have 68 minas but I can throw in four leather hides for it.~ *Taking out the hides to show him, they were in good shape. A trade that would surely be profitable, leather being more in demand in Elven regions than cloth.* Sounds good to me!
*Rosie handed over the hides and minas as he traded over the roll of cloth, giggling at her good luck. There was a lot to work with. Looking back to the trader.* Thanks, glad to of found you.~ *The trader responding in same.* Been a pleasure, you can find me back here next week on the same day.
*She nodded with a giggle waving farewell to the trader as she strode off.* Thanks again, I'll be
sure to be there!~

Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: I have.
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: A few servers I tried but they weren't detailed enough so I often switched back to survival servers.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I was searching for roleplaying servers on google and this server popped up.
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server:
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): I have.
Have you read the Dwarven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yes.
Role-playing: When I think of role-playing I think of exactly what the word says. I think of playing in a role of a specific character, almost like acting. Yet, it is more intense and interactive than acting, and more fun too. Playing a character and not breaking character as well as interacting with others while staying in character.
Meta-gaming: Letting external information affect your in-game experience
Power-emoting: Doing something that will not allow the other person to counter your action.
Full Name: Odin II Longbeard
Current Age: 10 Seasons (70 years)
Sub-race (if any): Cave Dwarves
Clan (if any):
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Raised in a family where one child hardly got any attention, Odin learned to fend for himself. His large family was neither poor nor rich. This describes Odin's whole life as he was, and is, just an ordinary dwarf. Not much else is known about Odin after his early childhood, other than his strong desire to finish whatever job he was assigned at any given time. No major events occurred in Odin's life other than a few close calls while mining deep in the mountains. These events often resulted in nothing more than a scratch and a large pint of ale.
Life working in the mines hardened Odin and made him become the quiet dwarf that he is. Those that worked around him often said that he was quiet but you could still sense something special in him. Though Odin constantly denied these claims that he seemed special, it was obvious to most that while was was an ordinary Dwarf, something was still different about him. He wasn't the wisest, or the biggest, or the fastest, or the wealthiest, or the most skilled, yet he was great and that greatness was virtually unmatched when it was drawn out from within Odin.
When Odin was around 5 seasons old, his family mysteriously vanished. Not a trace was found of them and not a word was said of their departure. Odin was the obvious one to blame as he was the only remaining family member. That being said, Odin himself seemed to not show much emotion regarding the matter. He would often simply state, "I reckon they are out there somewhere." All of these mediocre and regular aspects of Odin's life describe his personality and lifestyle. Whenever the chance arose for Odin to swing his axe to defend his people, he would willingly do so. When he did decide to go to battle, he was nothing more than a regular soldier. At the same time, that is what made him great. Battle after battle he came back with hardly any injuries or battle scars. He is, essentially, a perfect soldier, and his mediocrity is what makes him one of the most reliable, sturdy figures the people of Aegis have ever seen.
Ambitions for the Future: To be the right hand man of the Grand King. When something needs to get done, people will call for Odin II Longbeard
Personality: Quiet, laid-back, regular, quick-to-the-sword
Skills: Sword fighting (rare considering dwarves mainly used axes), persuasion, moral, sturdiness
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/1245718/architect-dwarf/
Just your average cave dwarf.
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
He is simply, average. But again this is what makes him great.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: I am on a mission to find valuable ores and minerals. If that means going across an unstable bridge, then so be it. However, my mission is also not to get killed in the process and, therefore, I must be very careful. The longer my weight is on the bridge, the more chance the bridge has of collapsing. This means that a smooth, quick, light run across should do the job. I drop all my non-essential gear and easily accomplish the task due to a well though out plan. The bridge is almost unaffected by my passing and I am able to make the journey back after I obtained the diamonds.
2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer: Unmoved by the sudden advancement of the dwarves, I stand up as well. Saving my words (as usual) I give the young dwarf a good, firm look. The other dwarves are now face to face with me and they seem confused as to who I am and what I am doing. One look at my sword and the two men realize my purpose. Before they can react to my sign of aggression I simply say, "Leave." The look in my eyes, the sword on my side, and my firm words are enough to make the dwarves back away. I take my seat and give the young dwarf a way out along with some supplies and a small weapon. I am not the young dwarf's guardian yet at the same time I see no point in dwarves shedding our own brothers blood. Either way, bloodshed or no bloodshed, I get the job done.
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: With my hand always on my side I happily approach the bar-owner with a slight smile on my face. It is rude to turn down such an offer and if things did turn out bad, I would feel confident in my abilities to defend myself as I have already assessed the bar-owners physical abilities with my eyes. No words are said between the bar-owner and I, yet we both can mutually just smile and enjoy some ale together.

Full Name: Daelin Fetz
Current Age: 24
Sub-race (if any): Human Human
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Daelin was born in Oren to an average life -- his mother worked to keep the house whilst his father was an architect of medium wealth; enough so to keep his family fed. His parents were kind, though strict and harsh in their treatment when it came to rules. You must work to hold your keep, you must show respect to those you are told to -- Daelin did not so much strike issue with this because he hated the rules, he simply did not understand why. Why were these rules in place, why could they not live as equals? These thoughts often went through his head as a child, but he pushed them back, far back -- it was the norm, after all, to obey.
As the years passed Daelin became an apprentice to his fathers craft. Since they worked mostly in interiors, Daelin himself had become quite fond of interior design, sometimes pondering the thought of completely indoor buildings -- cave dwellings, as they were. However stable Daelin may have portrayed himself to his peers, his mental state was slowly becoming more and more erratic. Priding himself on his ability to observe his own actions and change, he considered everyone else to be below him. They did not change! They could not see themselves. Writing in his journal each day, he cataloged the many happenings in his mind rather than what he did each day. Each day, week, month -- all written there in Daelin's journal.
Time continued on and it was several years later -- Daelin now being at the age of 21 -- that he gained access to a wealth of knowledge presented to him in vast tombs of varying size; books, as the people called them. It was an obsession -- prior to these books he had assumed that writing was merely for measuring, notes, diaries, communication -- but these were more than that, this was true knowledge. He most obsessed over the planets, and of all those that he obsessed over his favorite was Mercury -- the planet that symbolized intellect. This was his symbol, he thought, this was his name -- he was Mercury, and Mercury was him.
The obsession brought on by these books did not go unnoticed, however. Showing increasing signs of lacking interest and fatigue over the years, Daelin's outward appearance had become somewhat disconcerting to his mother. When Daelin was out with his father one day, she took it upon herself to see what may have been taking his mind of late; perhaps a women he had found, or worse -- a guild. As she entered his study, she saw his desk lit by a single candle in an otherwise dark room. Tiptoeing over the many scrolls and books strewn across her son's floor, she made it to his desk and saw his diary lying open under the candle light. It was hectically left open, the sides of the pages bent and tattered as if he had been in a rush when writing. Written on the page, over and over again, it simply said "I am God." She flipped back. "I am God." She flipped back many pages further. "I am Mercury" was written once in the middle of the page, and again for as far back as many months ago. Not knowing what to think of this she left his room and made up her mind to tell his father about the somewhat disconcerting notes in his diary.
Alas, that was the last time she would see him. Daelin had lost his father whilst in a crowd, and traveled to the outskirts of the cities gates. He was done with the charade required by these others, these people who were not like him. He left alone through a side exit he had been scouting, into the wilderness. Using a small knife he had made away with, he carved a mask of bone and adorned it on his head. It was his ascension to Mercury -- the Mercurial Mask -- never again would he spin and weave in the complicated dance of society; no, he would simply watch. As long as he had his mask, he was Mercury -- and a god need not concern himself with the movements of ants. Ambitions for the Future: To live and observe. Personality: Quiet and cynical; brooding. Skills: Stealth and underground architecture. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Basically, a pitch black cloak (hood included) that goes over the Mercurial mask slightly. On the hands he has gloves and on the feet he has boots, wanting to be an enigma of Mercury, he considers skin to be weak and foolish to show it to others. The skin is not done yet, because I don't draw skins at 3:00 AM. It'll arrive here tomorrow -- Overnight shipping! Any other details you wish to share about your character: Always wears his Mercurial Mask which hides his face.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Observe him, follow him -- make no sound. Whether to follow him or not depends on why I am in the human capital to begin with, if I have business I will be on my way, but in all options silence is key.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: Wait and watch to see how the scene unfolds. Not all old men are good, not all bandits are evil -- not all traps are cunning.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: I make a single offer of what I will give for what I need. If the offer is not accepted I will be on my way; I do not have time to argue or barter with those who do not have what I need for what I am willing to give.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Uponinspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I scurry to hear what a faint crying sound is only to see a vulger display of action. 3 Older elves picking on a poor elven child. I walk into the middle of the scene and ask what has this child done to harm or anger you. They reply he is stupid and annoying. Shocked by there awful and unwise response , I ask them to leave the poor child alone. They refuse the offer. Knowing already they are not the smartest fish in the sea, I begin to develop a plan. Even though the Orc race would be no where to be found around these parts I know that they probably do not know that. I start to leave the scene and soon run back and say " There are at least 10 Orcs up ahead and traveling this way and they look hungry. The older group of elves being just a tad bit wise say " Well we should probably flee this place and head away". They bolt off out of sight. Happy and relieved I walk over to the poor elven child and look into his traumatized eyes. Knowing that I have very pure golden apples I slice just a piece of 1 off just enough to erase the last 3 hours and tell the child to eat this. He eats it and soon responds "Where am I?" I reply " You were wondering around these parts and you ran into me". He says well nice to meet you but I must be going now. I say " Ok run along now and I continue on away from him.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. Hecollapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: I was wondering the Elven forest and I came across a old man with a walking stick and he fell down right in front of me. He scattered several coins out of his pouch and looks at me with fear in his eyes. I quickly help him up and he thanks me I then pick up his coins and coin pouch and hand them to him. He tells me to keep them and I ask him if he is sure. He says yes and I say well thank you and I ask him what happened. He says "Well I have a bum leg and everynow and then my hands fumble my walking stick and I fall". I reply well I am very sorry about your leg and he says "Dont be it doesnt bother me anymore there is nothing I can do about it". I say well I am glad you take it so well and tell him that I must be going. I thank him 1 more time for what he has given me and he says it should be me thanking you. I say well it was nice meeting you and I journey off.
Answer: I notice a clearing with a trader and a carrage. Starving I ask him do you have any food. He says "Yes I have cooked fish 1 for 8 coins". "EIGHT COINS!" I reply that is outrageous. He says I guess I can lower it to 6 per fish and I say that is still terrible.
He says "Well I am not going lower than that".
I reply oh well I guess I will just have to find someone else to get food from".
He says " No, no, no, and offers 5 coins per fish".
I say "Make it 4 for 2 fish and you have a deal".
He says "4 FOR 2 FISH! NO!!!".

Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Dizzy Torhild
Current Age: 80 years (young for a Dwarf)
Sub-race (if any): Dwarf (Dwarf)
Clan (if any): Dizzy's linage is nigh untracable, leaving whom he is related to a mystery. The name Torhild is an assumed name, because who wants to go around without a last name eh? Perhaps one day Dizzy will find the clan he belongs to, or he may find nothing but a long forgotten name.
Past / History:
When Dizzy was very young he lived a simple life with his father. His father was his only family due to the fact that his mother was deceased, she died giving birth to him. Dizzy's father was a poor man who worked as a mine worker in one of the smaller community's near the out-skirts of the Dwarven Kingdoms domain. Whilst in the mines one day Dizzy's father was foully murdered, but it was not any simple murder, it was an Orcish raid on their fair community! At the time of the raid Dizzy was about 30 and was of enough size to defend him self from any of his assailants. Rushing to his fathers work site he was filled with anguish... his own father lying in a pool of blood surrounded by dwarf and orc body's alike, strewn across the area as if a child had left its toys out after play. Tears in his eyes he knelt beside the still figure of his father, his father stirred slightly. Filled with hope he examined his father only to have his heart fall, he was covered in mortal wounds. “Dizzy......” came a rasping whisper which caused Dizzy to jump “Listen to me my boy......” it was his father. “I am proud of you son... but you must get as many people out of here as you can” he broke off in a fit of blood filled coughing and continued “In our home....My room....a chest...take...my key.....” it was clear that his father did not have much time left. Pulling in a large gasp of air his father continued “There is a helmet inside....it belonged to your great grandfather.....it is yours now...may it serve you well.....next to it there should be enough money for you to make it to one of the large Dwarven holds......” Tears where now flowing freely from Dizzy's eyes. “Now go...save everyone you can and go....and know I love you...” Dizzy wept as his fathers breathing faltered and finally stopped. Running back to his home and evading orcs on the way Dizzy gathered the items he needed, an old axe, some food, the money, and the shining helm his father spoke of. He marvelled at the artistry and skill that went into the helms forging, but was cut short in his examination by screams from outside. The orcs had started moving towards his district, seeing as they had stop to loot, pillage and burn the other quarters first. Equipping him self with his gear he charged outside to find panicking citizens and the remains of the community's guards holding back the orcs, but it was a losing battle. One of the guards noticed him and broke formation to meet him “You look like a strong, smart lad” he said “We will fight until death, I need you to take all the innocents out of here, now!” Dizzy nodded and gathered the panicking Dwarfs and led them to an old abandoned mine shaft his father used to talk about. “My father used to tell me that there was a way to the surface through this shaft” he explained. Breaking down the cover to the shaft he lead them through and into darkness. After hours upon hours of walking through the dark musty network of caverns they finally reached the surface. The many different refuges split and went there separate ways but one of them approached Dizzy. “Thank you for saving us lad.... but I must ask...where will you go?” the man asked “I do not to be honest” “Why dont you come with me? I have a large family in one of the larger citys.” Pondering the idea, Dizzy finally decided to accept the offer “alright, thank you for your kindness.” Fast forward past the long travel to the city Dizzy meets the mans family. “Welcome lad, we thank you what you did in saving some of our family!” Some Dizzy's new family where smiths and the others soldiers. Ever wanting to learn more Dizzy learned the ability to fight. After become a good fighter Dizzy felt something was missing....sitting down he pulled off his helmet to admire it “that is it....I warrior and a smith! I can forge an axe and armor to fit my fathers helm!” Learning the trade of the smith from his extended family he began to feel a bit more complete. The story now plays out as it happens....ever changing, ever advancing.
Ambitions for the Future: To become a larger part in both the Dwarven military and Dwarven politics in order to properly protect the Dwarven populace
Personality:Calm, slow to anger but when he does become angry his inner furnace flares like a red hot furnace. Respectfully and a quick thinker. Intelligent, a virtue his father tried very hard to give his son as he did not have the luxury of advanced learning himself.
Skills:Axe fighting and smithing
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):Dark brown colored hair with matching eyes. Always wears his helm. http://gyazo.com/730...3ddf081e1c88a8e

Open-Response-Questions
1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: "A Dwarf can not with stand the gleaming call of a precious jewel such as that!" Dizzy exclaims. Examining the bridge he decides that it is highly unstable and not the best idea to cross. He goes looking for any materials or objects that would help him across the ravine. “If only I were a stone mason I would know if that bridge is truly safe enough or not.” Upon finding nothing Dizzy devises a plan. Taking some of his spare metal he fashions a crude hook and fastens it the the rock on his side of the raven. He attaches his rope to his waist and the hook and walks towards the thin walkway. “Now at least if it collapses I wont fall” delighted with the concept of the diamond on the other side he continues. Taking careful steps on the walkway he hears a loud crack, and the bridge collapses from under him. Taking a leap back and grabbing the rope fastened to his waste he is able to prevent his fall into the ravine. Climbing back up he looks at the gleaming diamond on the far side of the ravine “Maybe its not to be, I can accept that” he says philosophically “But if I got a bit richer I wouldn’t mind either!”
Answer: Being the friendly character Dizzy is he walks over to the dwarf at the table and sits down. “Oi there friend whats the matter?” he says as the two shady men come closer. Pulling his axe out and sliding a menacing look in there direction he continues “Ahh thats better. I needed to get the haft of my axe out of my side there” Unfortunately it appears that one of the thug like dwarves did not get the message and he continues to advance. “Whats wrong there lad? Anything I can help with?” Dizzy asks the crying dwarf. “OI you there” the shady dwarf says to Dizzy “I need to have a talk with my friend.” “If all you want is talk then why do you have your knife out?” “Thats none of your bloody buisness.” “It is now” Dizzy says calmly standing up and planting his axe in the table, mere inches from the thug. “Cripes there's no need for that gentlmen” the bar owner says as he walks rushes to stop the commotion. “Of course my good man, I just needed to get a message across” Dizzy says calmly. “Here is some money for your table good bar keep. Follow me” he says to the crying dwarf. Asking where the dwarf lives Dizzy escorts him back and asks him about his problem, giving him any advice he can.
Answer: Taking quick note of the time it is and the appearance of the bar owner Dizzy decides that he is clearly a bit drunk. It would be bad to offend the simple offer of the bar owner “Of course my good man! I would love to have a drink!” Cautious still Dizzy enters the bar and sits down. Never fully lowering his guard Dizzy enjoys a drink with the bar owner.

He had many friends who he enjoyed going outside to play games and explore with. In his teen years he worked as an apprentice at a blacksmith's forge and learned to make things from metal ranging from mighty weapons to farm tools. Life was good, but not all was right. His older brother was jealous of Alasdair, for he wanted to be his father's heir. His brother planned to murder him to become the youngest son once again. But he failed, and Alasdair was forced to kill him. Alasdair decided to leave out of shame. He left his home and clan and became clanless.
Years passed and Alasdair was far from home. He moved from place to place looking for work. He was looked down upon by other Adunian because he was clanless, so he didn't stay in one place for too long. Answer: While walking through the human's capital city, I see a shady looking fellow wearing dark clothing heading towards the palace for the Human Emperor's palace. It's obvious that he is up to no good. I look around to see if there are any guards in the area. I see that there are some close by. I walk up to one and point out the shady looking man to them. Then I sit back and watch as the guards take the man into custody.

Answer:
I see that there is an old man being accosted by two bandits. The old man has a short iron blade, but I don't think that will help him much if this turns ugly. I quickly get behind a tree and take a look at the bandits. They are heavily armed, but I think that I could defeat them if I was quick enough and had the element of suprise. So I charge into the clearing with a very loud battlecry to disorient them. It confuses them enough to allow me to get close enough to kill them .

Answer: I go over to the stall and look at the owner's wares. I see that he sells a wide array of general goods. I pick a new dagger, a leather tunic, and 5 torches from the stall. I ask him how much they would be. The owner thinks for a while and says "I think that a fair price for those items would be 50 coins." I think for a while and say "Do you think that I could haggle that down to 30 coins?". The owner thinks for a moment and says "How about 40 coins?" I way "Alright, that seems fair. You've got yourself a deal." I shake his hand, put my new things into my bag, and go off on my way.

Current Age: 210
Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I have grown up my entire childhood living in a small shack on a little stone path off of the road connecting the Holy Princedom of Malinor and The Cloud Temple. It was joyful there, with the tall, laughing trees and the happy elven travelers, but I was not satisfied with only Elves and trees to interest me. I soon unveiled the promise of the world, with human children and Dwarven weapons. I learned of the Curse of Iblees, The Fallen One, and of the Dwarves greed for riches, and the danger of battle-hungry Orcs, and of the other sub-races of Elves, and also the Human's sadly short lives. After my travels, I returned to the beautiful Holy Princedom of Malinor and told the Elves of my travels.
I now wander the streets of the world, looking for a home and a job, hoping to find more stories, myths, and legends, and maybe a warm hearth and a welcoming family once in a while.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Uponinspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I sprint over to the group, pushing through until I reach the child.
Leyu: "Stop it! Stop! Have you never been educated?! The first teaching of Malin, protect the young!"
I reach over and touch the small child on the shoulder.
Leyu: "Run home now, you get some rest" I say with a smile.
The weeping child gets up and looks at me, saying a silent thank you.
Leyu: Go now, you have been brave.
The child gives me a smile and runs to the right of the glen of dark trees, in the direction of which a quiet, small shack sits.
Leyu: (to the older Elves) "If you had no pointy ears, I would have mistaken you for Human children with no education in the Elven culture." Go now, back to where you came from."
I walk away, and continue from where I was when I heard the foul snickering.
Answer: I walk quickly to the old man, ignoring the Minas, and help him up.
Leyu: "Are you ok?" I ask, finally returning the fallen coins.
Old Man: Yes, Yes, thank you young lady.
I quickly look around for a new walking stick, and remember the forest around me. I get up, accidently letting the old man fall to the ground.
Leyu, blushing and worried: " I am so sorry!, I will be right back with a new cane."
I walk not far into the trees, and quickly find a sturdy piece of oak wood, with a even end for a handle.
Leyu: "How would this do?" I say, emerging from the forest around the clearing.
Old Man: "Perfectly fine, thank you," He says, using the new cane to get up. "I'll be on my way now."
Leyu: May the cane serve you well, sir."
We part ways, both grateful for the unexpected company.
Answer:
Leyu: "So you have everything?"
Trader: "Yep, just about!"
Leyu: "A small rose is what I am looking for today."
The trader goes back into the carriage and comes back out with a rose.
Trader: "Will this do?" He says, examining the rose.
Leyu: "Yes, how much?"
Trader: "10 Minas."
The trader chuckles quietly at my reaction.
Leyu: "10!, I will give you 5."
Trader: "10"
I lean on the counter contemplate my choices.
Leyu: "So what you are saying is this flower is worth 10 Minas...."
Trader: "I believe so."
Leyu: "I will give you 5 or nothing sir."
Trader: "No, wait."
Leyu: "2 coins for the beauty, 1 coin for the smell, and 2 coins for your dinner."
Trader: "You are a smart girl, I will give the flower to you for 6."
Leyu: "A compromise...... I'll take it."
I hand the trader 6 coins, and take the paid-for flower off the counter.

Open-Response-Questions

1.As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering.Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child.Howdo you react?
Answer: I sneak a bit closer for a better look. I see the bullies standing in some sort of circle around the kid. I count the bullies one by one, "One, Two, Three and Four". I turn my head around looking for other people, but I notice that its only me, the bullies and the kid. I recount them and think for four long seconds... I think to myself "Nah, He'll manage" and I sneak away
2.Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old manwith a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud.Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: I walk up to the man and stand up while staring at him, lying there. I think about what to do and run into the bushes. I come out seconds later with my hands filled with leaves and branches. I push the man into the ditch at the side of the road and hide him under all the stuff that I found in the forest. I then put his pouch of gold in his jacket. "There we go! Hidden! He'll probably thank me later". I rethink about him thanking me and then I find his pouch again and I take three golden coins before I place it back and walk away
3.Whilst traversing the ElvenWoodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: Trader: Hello there my good sir! Welcome to Peregrin's Bits and Pieces! Is there anything the master needs?
Me: I got these three shiny golden coins from a nice old man that I met on the road. How many red apples can I get for them?
Trader: A nice old man you say? On that road over there?
Me: Aye! That would be it!
Trader: Well, in that case, I can give you 20 apples for that price.
Me: 20 apples for three golden coins?! That a huge rip off!
Trader: Very well sir, since its you... 25 apples. I usually don't take stolen coins. I saw that "nice old man" you were talking about in the ditch back there with a bush over his head. I picked him up, he's back in my cart. I can go and wake him if you'd like
Me: You know what? I think 20 apples will do just fine
Trader: The apples are in that basket over there. Have a nice day, sir.
---I pick up the apples and starts to run---
Trader: What a loony.

I'm not sure if this is where we are supposed to apply but here it goes:
My name is Allie Thorn. I was born to a middle class farmer and was always expected to take the family business. But a dusty old farm isn't going to cut it. I am going to entire politics no matter the peril! I am 17 years old but am still cunning and witty enough to thrive in politics. I want to make this world a better place, not to feed it.
My mother died when I was 8 she was an elf but my dad was human. I am trying to get away from the pressure of my family. I have two brothers and a sister who all want to go with me but they are too much hastle so I turned them away. I now enter this realm alone and without a job.
Roleplay experience: I always search and find roleplay servers that claim to be amazing but are just fakes. I do love to roleplay and have found some servers which I roleplay on and am quite good at it if I do say so myself.
Time Zone: Central USA
I have read the rules.
I am 13 years old.
I want to become a high figure in politics.
Skills: She is very convincing, almost as if she has a silver tongue. She can also fight when necesary but doesn't want to.
Personality: Kind to those who treat her that way. Rude to those who treat her with disrespect. Quiet and shy but can be aggresive in certain situations.
Answer to Question #1:
I really need that diamond... I think about it for a few minutes and then remember what my mom had told me before she passed away. You never succeed in the chances you don't take. I race across the rickety bridge and hope for the best.
Answer to Question #2:
I stand up to the dwarf with the dagger and try and intimidate him into submission. If he doesn't listen then I will attack to the best of my ability. Helping others is always right, even if it means risking your own skin.
Answer to Question #3:
I don't trust dwarves. They are sloppy and crude. I walk away quickly after a brief no thanks.
Sorry but I don't know how to show you my skin!

Current Age:19
Sub-race (if any):Wood Elf
Skills: Good with a bow, a good communicator.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): As a child ILceruberr lived in the Elven Woodlands. He was always curious and always wanted to adventure even though he couldn't because of what may lurk around him. He still filled his curiousness by reading books about, Aegis, Asulon, and Anthos every now and then because it was his least favorite. He read these books because his parents were almost always busy and were never around to tell him about the places. He was a quiet kid who built muscle through the bows that he crafted. ILceruberr was always pretty skilled with a bow and liked to hunt. He never really had anyone to talk to, yet he never felt lonely. Finally when he was old enough, he was able to let his inner adventure come out and he traveled place to place. Aware of where everything was and its history except for some places and dangers of Anthos. He always loved to travel and met many knew people, which was new to a quiet boy like ILceruberr. He continued to travel and still does.
A huge event that happened is when ILceruberr once traveling through War Uzg, unaware of the danger of the Orcs and War Uzg in general, to learn more about Orc culture found him self ambushed and nearly killed by the 7 feet tall ferocious beast. Soon after he recovered he left those lands and hasn't returned since. The only thing he learned about them is there ruthlessness and brute strength.
Now at the age of 19 he lives and travels from place to place never wandering to far from the Elven Woodlands anymore, even though his mind and heart are telling him to.

I knew I couldn't send him off feeling that scared, my guilt would kill me. I began to tell him that he just needs to try to forget about memory. He said that it didn't scar him to much and that he would get over it in time. Then he was off, and I was to.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).: (Improved from last) I was walking in the elven woodlands when I noticed a small clearing with a carrage inside. Not knowing what it was for I scrambled over to it, I noticed a trader that looked to be human. I started looking inside of the carrage, letting my curiousity get the best of me, nearly forgetting about the trader. All the sudden, the trader yells " HEY THIS IS MY STUFF IF YOU WANT IT YOU CAN BUY IT". Apologizing I reply "Sorry I just let my curiousness take me over". He replied "Well did you see anything you like?" I told him why yes, I would very much like to buy that medallion that has Malinor engraved into it. He told me that the medallion was all the way back before the undead had taken it over in 1351. I asked him how many coins he wanted for it and he told me he wanted 200. I said "200 WELL THAT IS A LITTLE MUCH ISN'T IT!" He said "Fine I will lower it to 150 but no lower". I said "130 and I will buy it". He said "Fine I guess that is reasonable, are you interested in anything else?" I told him that I wanted some cooked pork. He said "Ok 5 for 10 coins". I said "How about 5 for 5 coins" He gave me the deal and I was very happy but not surprised that I had outsmarted a silly human.

Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Role-playing to me, is the ability to emurse yourself in another point of view. Whether that be a single event, a short-term series, or another world. The essence of RP, is to explore different worlds, times and place, and to experience that life from outside the bounds of your own.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is the act or intention of using outside influences to effect the RP world. It circumvents or flat out breaks the RP rules by utilizing otherwise unknown information to the character, to change circumstances or outcomes.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is the process of which someone would enter into an RP event and direct the course of action with no open end. It is in effect, making decisions or outcomes without the chance for someone or something to intervene.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Whitaker Nevin Ferdy Current Age: 30 Sub-race (if any): Pure Northern blood, both parents. Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Whit Ferdy was born into the bloodlines of Keaghan Ferdy and Fiona Heath. The Ferdy bloodline hails from the far Northern lands, documenting as far back to Oren. Keaghan Ferdy was born and raised along a long line of honest laborers. Originally a family of Lumberjacks and Mill hands, the Ferdy bloodline eventually settled down and built a small farm within a woodland clearing. From Father to Son, this farm had been in the family for generations.
The Heath bloodline stems from the north as well, though their trade had been primarily bartering and merchant goods. Dwelling closer to the Human capitols, the Heath family was no greater known than the hundreds of other travelers. Generations of merchants, the Heath bloodline survived by means of traveling. When word of impending invasions or plagues began to circulate, the Heaths would simply pack up and travel to the next potential city.
While amidst such a travel, the Heath caravan came to an abrupt halt not far from the Ferdy's small farm. A broken wheel had rendered the wagon crippled. When Keaghan had been alerted to the travelers' needs, he had the wheel repaired with no expectation of payment. When Keaghan and Fiona had met eyes, the two had instantly been stricken with another. A mere half year later, they had been wed.
With the trading ties from Fiona's family, in particular her brother Tristan, the Ferdy estate thrived. Though wealth had never come easily, nor in vast quantities, the family was never without food, nor the occasional farm hand. The birth of Whitaker marked a joyous event in the Ferdy bloodline, and for 15 years, the family lived it's quiet life.
On an unassuming late summer's eve, Tristan had suddenly awoke the family. Hurried pounding brought a weary eyed Keaghan to the door. Tristan, panic-stricken had hastily explained that he was in trouble. A merchant deal had gone wrong, and he was being pursued by a band of mercenaries. Tristan begged Keaghan for gold, urging him to pay off the mercenaries. Though eager to help, Keaghan did not have the means to pay off the band of cutthroats.
Shortly thereafter, the band of mercenaries caught up with Tristan. Amidst the hurried conversation, the front door was broken down and the room was flooded with blades and armor. The noises woke Whitaker and Fiona, Fiona urging Whitaker to flee out the back of the farm house. After barely climbing out a window, Fiona was discovered and dragged into the front room to join the other two detainees.
Through cries of mercy, Keaghan and Fiona were put to the sword on behalf of Tristan's mishap. Made to watch, Tristan was bound and beaten as the Ferdy estate was put to the torch; crops torched, and cattle butchered.
From a distance, Whitaker watched, horrified and grief stricken. Hiding amongst the nearest treeline, Whitaker fell into a strained sleep, awaking with the dawn only to see the remains of the farm smoking and charred. Tristan's figure swayed gently in the morning wind, strung up from a sturdy tree.
The last of the Ferdy bloodline had now laid on Whitaker's shoulders. Gathering what strength he could, Whitaker traveled south.
15 years later, we come to the man Whit has become, to continue his journey, to not allow the Ferdy bloodline to end.
Ambitions for the Future: Above all else, Whit is an honest man. The blood of his father is strong within him, and he feels the earth's voice call to him. Whit yearns to return to the fields, to own an estate again.
Personality:Whit is a quiet and reserved man, his past has given him a strong sense of morality and modesty. Growing up with no family ties remaining, he has learned to fend for himself. He has the strength of the Ferdy bloodline, and yet maintains plenty of the wit from the Heath family.
Skills:Whit is proficient with all farming tools, being able to till even the foulest of lands. He wields a short sword only in defense, and is adept at talking down potential conflicts.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Whit retains the fair skin tones of the Northerners, retaining the muscular physique of a farmer. See image here Any other details you wish to share about your character: I think the above history explains most of it. As Whit experiences the world, he will grow and become a part of the lore itself.
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
Whit grips his sheathed sword tightly, and cautiously follows. Calling out, Whit attempts to get the figure's attention. Making note of his surroundings, Whit maintains awareness of the alleys and buildings he passes. Whit recalls the streets around him, and makes a mental note of the quickest route to a populated area. Drawing closer, Whit approaches the figure who is fully aware that he has drawn the farmer's attention. An RP event occurs.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer:
Whit approaches the scene with caution, drawing attention to himself while still a distance away. Approaching with arms wide open, he attempts to show the bandits he is not an immediate threat. Whit hopes to engage in conversation with the bandits, well aware that conflict is almost inevitable. Whit would gladly part with what gold he has if it means that the old man will be spared.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer:
Trading is in Whit's blood, he is eager to engage in discussion for practical wares. Tools, food, basic supplies are all of interest to Whit. Gravitating to a selection of various landscaping tools, Whit picks up a sturdy looking shovel. The spade sports a few notches, indicating that it had been used several times before winding up on display. The handle feels solid, a northern Oak composition. Whit comments on the craftsmanship of the spade, inquiring as to it's origin. Gleaning various details about the tool, Whit will attempt to find out if the merchant has stolen any of the goods, and if he is selling authentic goods.

It's been a two years and I tried my best to brush up on Elven lore, though the wiki seems to be updating or remade for Anthos.
Definitions
In your own words define the following terms.

Complete the following biography on your character:

Complete the following biography on your character:

In-Character Information:

Answer: Taking quick note of the time it is and the appearance of the bar owner Dizzy decides that he is clearly a bit drunk. It would be bad to offend the simple offer of the bar owner “Of course my good man! I would love to have a drink!” Cautious still Dizzy enters the bar and sits down. Never fully lowering his guard Dizzy enjoys a drink with the bar owner.

Alasdair was part of a small clan of Adunians. He was the youngest son of an Adunian Earl, and was by tradition the heir to all of his father's lands and titles. His childhood was a good one.
By day he worked in mines, tunneling his way through rock in search of precious metals and gems, or in blacksmith forges. The work in mines and is blacksmith forges made him strong. He was strong enough to wield heavy war hammers and wear full plate mail, not that he could afford those things. He had to make due with whatever he could get his hands on. 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: While walking through the human's capital city, I see a shady looking fellow wearing dark clothing heading towards the palace for the Human Emperor's palace. It's obvious that he is up to no good. I look around to see if there are any guards in the area. I see that there are some close by. I walk up to one and point out the shady looking man to them. Then I sit back and watch as the guards take the man into custody.

Leyu: "Nice doing business with you." I say."
I walk away and continue on my path, happy with my purchase.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
Answer:
Trader: Hello there my good sir!

He was always curious and always wanted to adventure even though he couldn't because of what may lurk around him. He still filled his curiousness by reading books about, Aegis, Asulon, and Anthos every now and then because it was his least favorite. Soon after he recovered he left those lands and hasn't returned since. The only thing he learned about them is there ruthlessness and brute strength.

I knew I couldn't send him off feeling that scared, my guilt would kill me. I began to tell him that he just needs to try to forget about memory. He said that it didn't scar him to much and that he would get over it in time. Then he was off, and I was to.
