He was a great father and warrior he was known as The Liberator, but one day he became a hero. Until Sunday waround noon, he was very very ill. He couldn't even move his arm to get a glass of water right next to him. I prayed allot that say for him to get better again so he can conquer all means of evil. The next day was the worst day of my life. He died. The corpse had this dark purple-red color around his neck. We quickly took him to the healer to see what happened to him, but she didn't know what it was. Me and my mom were very god smacked at that moment. After a long pause we turned back and buried him until we found out what happened to him. Years passed, until this day the war was still going on by the undead. So here I am farming, picking up some seeds for wheat and melons. Something was watching me I could sense it I didn't know what it was until late that night when I was getting ready for bed. It was the village elder. He said "I have been watching you." "I have seen great potential in you, young farmer." "You would make the finest warrior just like your dad." Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Jethrob grew up in a small village on the coats. His parents were Ancano and Elenwen Serothan. His father worked as a teacher while his mother stayed home and took care of him. His father was very harsh with him making him learn everything he could learn about by making him read hundreds of books. So because of this he usually spent time sitting alone and reading. He mostly stayed inside and did not play with the rest of the children in the village. His fathers dream was that Jethrob would become the greatest scholars in the world but he interested in something different. Jethrob had read many books about the Monks. He was so interested in there way of life. He even went to ask his father about the Monks because he wanted to learn more about them. His father told him about a Half Elf Monk that lived in the forest near the village.
Once he heard about this he started going out and asking about this Monk. He then found out where the Monk was located and went out to look for him. Once he found him he started talking to him and started learning from him but when he got back home his father was furious. His father then forbid him to go back to the monk and said that he should be learning from him and not from an old man in the middle of the forest but he did not listen to his father and kept going. Jethrob sneaked out almost every night and went out into the forest to the Monk.
One day on his way back home from studding in the forest and heard screaming coming in the direction of the village. So he started running toward the village and when he got onto a hill he looked in the distance and he saw the village burning. He started running faster and when he got to the village he saw Orc Raiders everywhere. They were killing everyone and pillaging everything. Then on the other side he saw his father getting stabbed in the gut and his mother being dragged away. When he saw this he yelled no and then two Orc Raiders turned to him and starting running towards him and he started running in the other direction. Once he lost the Orc Raiders he went back to the Monk and trained there for several years.Once he finished his training he went out seeking to learn more knowledge and to become a great Monk.

Current Age: 18
Sub-race (if any):Cave Dwarf
Clan (if any): Indecisive
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Ambitions for the Future: As a small child. though hardly small at all, Keinel often was picked on by the other Dwarves. One day in the middle of an insult he snapped out and broke the other Dwarf's nose. From that day on all the Dwarves knew him as Keinel Iron-Fist. This inspired him to realize that he had battle potential. He vowed to himself and others alike he would become one of the best warriors in Mount Ire. He hopes to find a master warrior to take him as their apprentice so he can hone his skills and learn how to use them effectively. Keinel had worried at several points he was an outcast and one day his fears came true. The other Dwarves questioned his loyalty and confronted him. While he was telling the truth he was as loyal as ever, the other Dwarves spread rumors about Keinel's family past and relations to tyrants and betrayals to friends. He was shunned largely and has been trying to recover his reputation to a medium at the very least ever since that fateful day.
Personality: Quick tempered and easy to anger. Keinel is very cynical so don't be surprised by sarcastic comments. Despite this, like any Dwarf, he enjoys a good pint of ale, and will like anyone who can afford him a drink. He is kind on the inside and helps anyone in need to the best of his abilities.
Skills: While most of Keinels skill is in brute force, he's also an extremely intelligent dwarf and a good problem solver. Nearly no problem can go unfixed by Keinel's watchful eye.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):See attached picture.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Keinel is easily angered at first, but if you get to know him, and vice versa, he can become a great ally and powerful companion.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: Keinel hoists his tool package down to the ground. Alongside him the only things he had were a few rusty nails, some two-by-fours, a rope, an a hammer. Drilling a hole through the plank he weaves the rope through it and hoists it across the chasm. He uses the other planks as supports for the base of the bridge. The more planks he uses the more stable the bridge becomes until it is safe to cross. He carefully walks across the bridge and mines the diamond ore to bring home to Mount Ire.
2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer:Quickly Keinel finishes off the rest of his ale and gets on his feet. He runs as quickly as possible to stop the dwarf from hurting the child. He rushes towards him and ducks under a dagger swing. He stands back up and disarms the dwarf with force. The other dwarf approaches fist up. Keinel socks him in the jaw but the dwarf is hardy. Keinel takes a blow to the ribs and replies with a headbutt. The two Dwarves attempt to sandwich him and as they each throw a punch he swiftly ducks under and the two dwarfs knock each other out cold. Keinel rushes over to the small child to see if he is okay. "Laddy, they didn't hurt you did they?" The boy looks up and stutters, "N- n- no sir. Thank you so much!" Keinel hands the child a few chunks of gold and tells him "Take this n' go buy ye' self some food lad. You look starvin'." With that, Keinel pays the bartender and leaves the tavern one problem more solved.
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: Keinel sees the Dwarf holding two pints of ale. He runs over as quick as possible. "Fancy a drinking contest lad?"
The bartender looks surprised and then gets a devious smile. "10 gold chunks says I will win." he says. Keinel takes up his offer. They start off strong downing one, two, three, and then four ales. After both start slowing down in sheer intoxication. 10 minutes later on shot 21 the bartender finally succumbs to the alcohol running through his veins. Keinel realizes it barely and drunkenly declares, "I. . . I told ye I would win. . ." He then joins the bartender in unconsciousness. Another day in the tavern.

Full Name: Maldim Birrow
Current Age: 27
Sub-race (if any): Halfling
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Maldim Birrow had a good childhood. He had caring parents, a home and always food whenever he wanted it. But none thought of him as spoiled as he did work with his father, Horald Birrow, everyday which included tending to the crops, gathering logs, and being a personal messenger. Maldim didn't get to know many other children because he never felt the need for anybody but family. Maldim had no brothers or sisters so he only spent time with his parents. Both of his parents were Halflings as well and both had brown hair and brown eyes.
Later in his life from about 17 and on, he began taking up different jobs such as fishing and instead of gathering wood he would cut down a tree or two. When Maldim was out doing his jobs he would always wonder what else there was in this world that he lived in. He has never met anyone except other humans (and their sub races) and doesn't know much of other towns/races. One day Maldin's curiosity took over him and he just had to explore a bit further than how far he usually went out. While walking through the trees, he heard a quite growling. He looked around and saw nothing. He continued on and there right in front of him was a wolf. He new he had to get back fast because wolves travel in packs. Maldim runs as fast as he could and climbs a tree. The wolf still following him attempts to climb the tree but cannot. Maldim needed something to distract him he decided. He looked into his pack and found some food. He grabbed it and threw it in the opposite direction that he intended to go. The dog takes the bait and ran to the food. Maldim jumps out of the tree and runs back to Branborough and listens to the angry howls in the distance.
Four days after Maldim had turned 21 his father had become terribly ill and died a week later. Maldim's mother engulfed in grief refused to do anything but lay down in her bed and weep for around two months. In that time Maldim had no time to be sad as he had to provide for him and his mother without his fathers help. The first couple of weeks were hard but they got easier as he got used to it.
Four years later Maldim's mother had fallen over and cracked her skull and a rock. For a few weeks Maldim found it very hard to work as he had no one to talk to. Knowing already how to take care of himself he kept himself alive with what he had learnt and what he had. Maldim had to learn how to make friends though. He walked out into the street and started to just talk to random strangers. He had been lonely for some time and had forgotten what a friendly smile looked like. Afterwards he felt so much better and continued to work as he used to.
Now Maldim happily lives in Branborough trying to make a living and still wondering what else there is he can do in this world he lives in.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I quickly and stealthily make my way towards the figure while making sure I can quickly access the guards. Once I figure out that he is definatly up to no good I inform the guards of his presence and stay to make sure that the situation is dealt with.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: As it would be nearly impossible for Maldim to defeat the bandits he waits and listened while hiding behind a tree. He quickly leads them back to where the bandits were harrasing the old man and hope to stop them before its too late.

Answer: Whilst looking for some leather Maldins attention is caught by a colourful stand run by a small man. Maldin walks up to the stand looking at all the goods that are on offer. Maldin asks politely,
"Excuse me but I require some leather to mend my shirt."
The man says back,
"Leather? Not a problem! Got some in just this morning! I'll give it to you for lets say, 20."
Maldin not having too much money attempts to haggle,
"Really? Because that store over there said they will sell it for 10!"
The man narrows his eyes and looks at the stall that Maldin is pointing to and tries to determine whether he is lying or not.
"Hmmm. I tell you what I will give it to you for 10."
Maldin still not liking the price decides to try and lie again
"Well there leather looked a lot better than this. Well thanks anyway."
The merchant yells,
"W-Wait! I'll sell it for... 8 but nothing lower!"
Maldin happy with the price happily says,
"You have a deal."

Role-playing: Know only what the character you're playing knows, use language suitable to the time of happening and the event currently happening.
Meta-gaming: Using information your character couldn't have ever known, that you gained through OOC or similar in your favor.
Power-emoting: Taking full control of other players actions through RP sceneries. (ie. Someone saying '((Backstabbed <username> in the back and killed <username>))' In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Amroth Arcamenel
Current Age: 362
Sub-race (if any): WoodElf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Someone, somewhere wakes up. No problems. Wealth. Women. No problem. Every morning Amroth wakes up, thinking, “this is the day“, but the day never comes. Among the people he knew, he was always known as shallow. Too often has it happened that he was tricked. The lone Elf always lacked wisdom, but had great intelligance. Amroths mother, Aegnor, always smiled comparing his mind with the dwarves ones, probably because he disliked them, he was never sure. Amroth, even though known for being shallow, always found it calming to read scripts and books about the history of Asulon and Elves in particular. Although he was never interested in life of others, he always respected nature and beings that lived through it. He was never interested in archery either, but his maln was always insisting he will need it. “What if Bortu make an attack?!“.
Still, Amroth isn't completely uninterested, he has delecate hands and good eyesight, thus making him a good Farmer and Geatherer. He may not like berrs, but an elf is an elf, thus berr is all Amroth has, offensevly, and deffensivly. Not long ago, Amroth also found out that he's doing especilly good in the markets. How does he not fall for the small prices people offer him, he isn't sure him self, he simply figured maybe he falls for the irrelevant in life, as it shouldn't be a surprise for someone who relies on intelligence. The combination of free time he gains while farming for reading scripts and books, and adrenaline and rush he gains while in the market trying to sell what he worked for for so long, gives him a perfect combination of life.
Ambitions for the Future: One thing that keeps Amroth so uninterested in life is the disapointment he he had no more then just a 100 years ago, which effects his future, but even more, his present. Elves, cursed by the Iblees, cannot give birth to young ones unless getting pregnant very young, and Amroth is slipping. This makes him depressed, being uninterested if called apon a war, but gives more respect on the nature, as he doesn't have anyone else. He yet doesn't have any ambitions or motivation, but hope that some day his life might get in order, and that God might finally see his desire for more than what he has.
Personality: Shallow, Smooth handed for Farming and Archery, likes reading books and Scrolls, Prays to the God and Malin that one day he might have children, Good with people, Well mannered, woud like to learn the Old Elven language.
Skills: Experianced Archer, Good farming, Fast and light in feet, socially skilled, very well mannered (In my opinion, not everyone posses this, and can be very well used, that's why I list it as a skill)
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
I'm not the most imaginative person, the point of the character is that he's a bit complex, please try taking that in consideration. Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____ 1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Answer: There are two events of happening, depending on Amroths situation. One would be that he would simply ignore the situation as he doesn't try to care of others, as others didn't tend to care about him. But if Amroth would have previously had a moment that would be a peace of a puzzle, something that would make him happy, he would take his hoe or berr and warn the High Elves. 2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: The shock of something like that happening would hit him for a second, he would aid the man, taking him to his home, giving him the bread, but not for a reason that he cares about the man. Amroth doesn't like owing anyone anything, and since he would take the old mans coins, he would only help him stay alive long enough to walk. If the man would ask where did the coins go, he would simply say he doesn'y recall any coins. 3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.
Minecraft Account Name: pman17
How old are you?: 15
Time-Zone: MST
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: Little to none. I have played on servers that claim they offer roleplay but do not follow suit when I actually play on the server. The servers I mention are called Realm of Blothera, and Eternal Imperium.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I heard through the Minecraft Forums
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: Yes, one yesterday
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): Yes
Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yes
Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: This is where you act out as a character in a specific environment. WoW servers that are roleplay act out as if they were the character they portray. An orc would act like an orc should act, not the way any person playing an orc would act.
Meta-gaming: This is similar to dramatic irony in literature, where the audience knows information the characters don't. Similarly, meta-gaming is using outside information to keep your character at advantage. If someone told me OOC where buried treasure is, my ingame character is not supposed to know that, and that would be metagaming. Same thing happens if I asked OOC where a location is, and started walking there ingame. My character is not supposed to know that information.
Power-emoting: This is when you force an action or emote on another player, like in pvp, you wouldn't say
*I stabbed Arwin in the gut, bleeding him out
Because that gives little opportunity for Arwin to react; instead, you are forcing that action to happen. Instead, you should say
*I attempted to stab Arwin.
Because that gives Arwin an opportunity to dodge or parry the blade.
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Elensar Periculus
Current Age: 68
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Elensar was born among the Mali'Aheral, in ArmaLuna. His parents were scientists coming up in the world. They both were a bit xenophobic among their subrace, and as a result Elensar got little contact with Dark Elves and Wood Elves in his life. Instead, much of his childhood he remembered his parents practicing the clerical arts, and as much as he wanted to join them, they always told him he would learn when he grew up. Of course, being born in ArmaLuna, he could not help but learn the ways of the strings too. Eventually, he grew up to be well versed on his lute.
About another 30 years and still living among his parents, the Periculus family moved to the capital, Normandor. They were embraced with many fortunes. Elensar began his life as a farmer. The family soon became the average family in Normador, until Elensar's 50th birthday, when his belongings and possessions were entirely robbed. Up until that point, Elensar had a pretty positive outlook on life, and was very optimistic. However, for the first time in his life, he felt rage. Immediately, he set his eyes on the Dark Elves, for no other reason than the fact that he sees many of them dressed in dark colors, which signifies thief attire. He followed a couple dark elves, noticing the jewelry they wore and thinking it to be stolen, not knowing it was truly theirs as family heirlooms. He carried a sword and a few weak potions he bought from a vendor, and demanded that they show themselves when they were cornered at a lake and a tree root. A mistake was at his part; Elensar was beaten greatly by the elves' knack at hand combat. The greatest of the wounds is an ugly purple scar that is permenantly etched alongside his right cheek.
Elensar changed that day on his 50th birthday. For the first time, his family knew poverty. His prejudice towards other elves only increased more. As time progressed, however, the wounds of his family were healed, as a sympathetic high elf who had connections to the Heial'Thilln (Silver Council) had heard their story and helped their fellow kin back on their feet. As a payment of their debt to the stranger (who chose to remain anonymous, going by 'Mali'Hiylun- The Elf that follows health') and as a result of his severe beating, Elensar decided he must learn the arts of self defense. In addition, he also decided to learn alchemy, as his potions were nothing but simple water, evidence he had been taken advantage of (and might I say to a Wood Elf vendor?). The High Elves greatly appreciate what they call a 'civilized warrior, and Elensar would certainly deliver. He continues to train his swordsmanship to match and sooner than later conquer over the elves beneath him. He will soon become 'Master Periculus'.
Personality: Determined. He won't let any tragedy get in his way, not after he had been through the worst of it. He is xenophobic, meaning he is hesitant in contacting other elves, but otherwise he is quiet and calculating. However, a few drinks may make him soon singing songs he learned from the Bard's School.
Skills: Herbalism, swordsmanship. Also quite well at performing for entertainment as well as performing magic.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Although his name is fully 'Elensar Periculus' he prefers going by 'Master Periculus'. However, he needs to realize that he needs to live up to that name.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Answer:
Master Periculus, approaching elven group: Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya, kin. What have you occupied yourself in doing now?
Elf 1: Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya. See that poor boy over there?
MP: Yea?
(pauses)
Elf 2: No, do you see him? His clothes would make a dark elf shiver pale!
(laughter ensues)
Elf 1: No, but honestly, I can't bear the thought of living among the frail ones as him. Their skills consist of their height near matching humans and dropping swords on their feet!
MP: (chuckles) I often though the same things before, but heed my words, kin. You shall not underestimate them.
Elf 2: What makes you say that?
(nudge from the first elf)
Elf 2: Oh, right. I forgot...
MP: (Smiling) Kin, you have a mission to attend here. Don't make the same mistake I made (brushes scar in memory). To subdue them is to allow us to prosper.
Elf 1: If I let you preach any longer, I would think you as a follower of 'religion' (laugh weakly)
(Master Periculus pats both elves on the back, and walks away, glaring at the wood elf child with a cold face)
Answer:
MP: Hail traveler! Allow me to help you up.
Old Man: (being pulled up by Master Periculus) Oy, a High Elf! Believe me when I say I never thought I'd see you in these woods.
MP: (laughs) Then you must have never come to these lands before, stranger. You hail from the human lands?
OM: Aye (bends over to pick up coins). Though we 'humans' tend to call it the Empire. I hail from Arethor, surely you've heard of it?
MP: Aye I have-- say, you won't find it odd if I assist you in picking up the coins, do you?
OM: Whuzzat? Oh, no, I know an honest fellow when I see one.
MP: (smiles) What makes you think I am honest? Just hypothetical.
OM: Hypo- what?
MP: Hypothetical. It means the question is used in a 'what if' scenario.
OM: Well, uh, you see, many of the bandits I have come across have been humans
MP: (looks at coins) You've been robbed?
OM: I hide it well, but that's besides the point. Every elf I've met-- and that's not a lot mind you-- seem to be honest fellows.
MP: (picks up last coin, handing it to old man) You've met other elves?
OM: Oh no lad, that is way before this incident. I've come here because I've missed a carriage ride to Arethor. I believed the carriage must have gone this way, but my sense of direction may be off...
MP: (thinks for a while) Tell you what human. If you tell me your story, I will assist you to a nearby inn and hire a carriage for you.
OM: (smiles and agrees. Both walk towards elven inn)
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer:
MP: Ok trader, I've finally decided what I want to buy.
Trader: Finally! I swear it took you a good three hours to decide!
MP: I want a sheath.
TR: Okay
MP: and an amulet
TR: Sure,
MP: And I finally want a glass bottle
TR: An alchemist are you? I have potions for sale as well.
MP: No potions. But I am willing to buy all three items for 50 Minas.
TR: Whoa, whoa, whoa. I may have been a haggler, but 50 seems too low.
MP: Take it or leave it
TR: Are you deaf boy? No deal!
MP:... Alright, how about same price, but without the sheath?
TR: Hmm... The price of an amulet alone is at least 120 Minas. and a glass bottle... worthless without some concoction inside, don't you think?
MP: Okay, I will pay 100 Minas, both bottle and amulet
TR:...(thinks long) Okay, I guess I will take the deal. BUT I've got a better one for you. Twice the price, and I'll add in the sheath.
MP: (wonders) I don't care for the sheath anymore
TR: But how else will you carry your sword?
MP: Holding is fine by me. Works most of the time.
TR: How about twice the price, and I will add in a potion?
MP: ...I prefer to brew my own
TR: So you ARE an alchemist?
MP: One in training, I suppose. But I suppose experimentation is required too. Thats besides the point, will you take my original deal?
TR: Hmm... All right, I suppose so.
MP: (smiles) I bid you fair day trader (leaves)

This inspired him to realize that he had battle potential. He vowed to himself and others alike he would become one of the best warriors in the Kingdom of Urguan. In his latest endeavors things have worsened. The battles and politics of the outside world are taking its toll on Keinel. With the events even inside of the kingdom, several other Dwarves are starting to believe some of the lies that were spread about him. A few shopkeepers have even refused him service because they believe he was conspiring with Orcs. If he doesn't fix the problem there may be deadly. He needs to find a way to restore his reputation before he is exiled completely. His last hope lies in one man, but he is the most dangerous to approach of any other. . .The leader of the Dwarves.
Personality: Quick tempered and easy to anger. Keinel is very cynical so don't be surprised by sarcastic comments. Despite this, like any Dwarf, he enjoys a good pint of ale, and will like anyone who can afford him a drink. He is kind on the iinside and helps anyone in need to the best of his abilities. Give Keinel an axe and an ale and he'll be at your side for as long as he lives.

He carefully walks across the bridge and mines the diamond ore to bring home to the Kingdom of Urguan.
P.S: I assumed you meant 24 hours from posting, so if you meant from denial, then you have my apologies. Hope I fixed the concerns you had!

Full Name: Jack Sayek
Current Age: 27
Sub-race (if any): Southron, of the Western Civilization, Renatus.
Past / History: Jack was born 27 years ago into the line of the Sayek family. Once a great name in city of Arethor, capital of Renatus, the Sayeks had fallen from the good graces of their rulers when Amadaeus Sayek murdered Lord Dareon of the Merchant Lands over a heavy debt. The Sayeks were cast from Galahar and livedin the woods to the west for years. These woods are where Jack was born.
Jack's mother died during childbirth, and his father, for whom he was named, was killed by marauding bandits twelve years later. This left Jack in the care of his uncle, Johnathan Sayek. Uncle Johnathan had never been a healthy man and was pushing the age of seventy, having been much older than Jack's father. Johnathan hated the bandits for what they had done, but he was too old to go after them, but Jack was the proper age to begin training. Johnathan, a master of sword and bow, began to teach Jack the basics of both weapons.
After a year and a half of training, he had become very ill and realized that he had very little time left, so he sent Jack out, almost a man full grown, to face the 3 bandits who cut down his father in cold blood. Armed with a bow, a quiver of 50 iron arrows, and a steel longsword, Jack made his way quietly through the woods, for Uncle Johnathan had included stealth in his training. Johnathan had many times scoped out the main camp of the bandits, who would stay in the same base of operations, leaving occasionally for a heist of sorts. It was nightfall upon Jack's arrival, and there was a fire lit in the camp. Jack climbed the nearest tree and saw the three bandits sleeping beside the fire. stepping a bit further out onto the seemingly sturdy branch, Jack drew his bow, knocked an arrow, and drew back the arrow. He focused on the bald bandit lying closest to him. The man's surly features were quite visible to Jack as he concentrated on his mark. He took in a breath, and upon release, loosed the arrow. The arrow flew straight and punctured the bandit's head make it's way through skull and brain, cutting off the man's booming snore. As he drew another arrow, Jack misplaced his foot, causing the branch to snap and send him tumbling to the ground.
Upon hearing the noise of the branch crack and the boy hit the ground, the bandits stirred. The leader, a man of 40 with thinning brown hair saw the tail of the arrow sticking from his brother's head. "Gods, it killed Robert." He said to his partner. "Arm yourself, I see something moving in the woods." Within moments of them gathering their swords, Jack burst into the camp, immediately slashing at the second bandit, opening a wound in his neck that poured blood in thick waterfalls. He had died before he could even raise his sword. This left Jack in a stand-off with the bandit leader. "You killed my brother you little *******," the bandit cursed. "You killed my father, you cur," Jack said in retort, raising his blade to parry the on-coming flurry of the bandits blows.
For minutes the two fought, men of equal skill hacking and slashing at each other. Upon locking blades, Jack watched the bandits stance, one knee forward. Jack raised his foot and slammed it down on the villain's knee, popping the kneecap out of place. The bandit fell to the ground with Jack standing over him. "I'm sorry, we didn't know. I'm sorry for what we did! Please, don't kill me," the bandit groveled, having dropped his blade. Jack kicked the blade away, "Too little, too late," He said, raising his sword. He plunged the sword into the bandit's chest, once, twice, three times. And with that, it was done. Jack collected his fallen bow, searched the camp, and took the gold that the bandits had lying around and left.
Upon his return to the cabin, Jack found Johnathan fallen on the floor. Throwing aside his scabbard and bow, Jack rushed to his uncles side. Johnathan fluttered open and he whispered, "Jackie, is... is it done?" "Yes, uncle. I killed them all," Jack replied with tears welling in his eyes. "This is good, my boy. I have one final request, Bring honor back to the Sayek name,do what me, your father, and our father could not. Restore us." With that, Johnathan went limp, his eyes glazed over, and his soul left him. "I will, Uncle. I promise," Jack said, closing his uncle's eyelids. From there, Jack Sayek set out as a simple hedge knight, doing good deeds and fighting in tournaments for the next fourteen years.
Ambitions for the Future: Jack plans to earn the favor of the King and acquire a place on the King's personal guard. To fulfill his uncle's last wishes, and bring back the honor that Sayek name once held.
Personality: Sayek is cunning, witty, and strong. He is a valiant and chivalrous knight fighting in the pursuit of justice.
Skills: A skilled sword and bowman, capable of fighting when needed. A skilled woodsman, and a skilled miner, for that is how he acquired coal to heat his home's furnace.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I move swiftly to a guard who says, "Halt citizen, what is it you require of me?" Pointing to the dark figure, I say that man, my wits tell me that there is something off about him, something dangerous." The guard responds, "Yes, but my wits tell me there is something off about you, what and who are you?" Watching as the cloaked figure gets ever closer to the palace, I quickly say, "I am a hedge knight of the name Jack," disguising my last name so as to not have my disgrace known, "I am a protector of the good and just. Now, sir, there have been many a ruler killed in those halls, and if you do not stop that man, we may seen another killed there today." The guard scowls as he makes off to search the mysterious man. Upon searching him, a vial of untraceable poison is found. The man was then arrested for conspiring to murder the Emperor,
Answer: I crouch lowly listening as they try to rob him. I move forwards inch by inch and draw my sword quietly. The old man's eyes meet mine and I raise a finger to my lips. He begs them to let him be. I move closer behind the larger of the two bandits. Once behind him, I stand and thrust my blade through his back shoving in to the hilt. he gurgles and blood spills from his mouth. I kick him off the blade as his partner turns in shock. "Unless you want the same as your friend, you will leave now and quit yourself of the business of thievery, Do you understand?" I ask. The bandit and old man both stare at me incredulously. "Y-Y-Yes, m'lord. I'm sorry, m'lord. Won't happen again, m'lord. I promise," the bandit stammers, he then turned and fled the clearing. "T-Thank you, good knight. How could I ever repay this kindness?" "Your gold is worth nothing to me my good elder, all I ask of you is your word of thanks, and you have already given it," I say reaching down and removing the sword from the fallen bandit. It is slightly sturdy than mine own, of a higher quality metal, and better balanced. I hold the bandit's sword out the old man saying, "Here, this will protect you in the future better than that knife you wield." With that, I walked from the clearing to continue on my woodland journey. as the old man shouted his gratitude behind me.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: I notice a fine selection of bows. I quickly pick out a yew bow, already strung, knock one of my arrows, and fire into a haystack behind the stall. "This will do quite nicely, my fair merchant. For how much do you ask?" "We could start at 500 gold pieces," the merchant stated slyly. I clutch my chest, "Dear merchant, you rob me as a bandit would. This bow may be made of strong yew, but it is by no means worth 500 gold, at most it is worth 100." "My good knight, I am charitable today, but I will not allow you to play upon my good will, 350." "That is nearly criminal of you, I could never justify 350 gold on a bow. I tell you what, I will pay you 500 gold for the bow, 20 steel arrows, that wooden buckler there, the leather jerkin, and a tinderbox" "Nonsense, 750 for all of that." "550." "675." "600." The merchant scratched at his chin for a moment then held out his hand, "Deal", he stated. He then handed me my purchases and, though the items were not nearly worth what I payed for them, I could see that the merchant was in a bad way by the lack of customers and the poor upkeep of the torn cloth surrounding his stall, so I handed him a sack of 600 gold coins and went on my way.

Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Creating a separate identity to play a role in a society. It is sort of like interactive acting. You play as an actor you create and play out life with others who've done the same.
Meta-gaming: Saying that your character know OOC information. Like as if he would know things that you know In real life, or something that was told to you IRL but not in character.
Power-emoting: Doing an emote without giving the other person a chance to respond. For example:
*Deckolo stabs at Bob.*
*Bob blocks the attack.*
That would be the proper way, but Power-emoting would be:
*Deckolo stabs Bob, killing him instantly.*

Answer: I am no fighter, but I follow the man quietly. I decide to make use of my surroundings, and grab a stone from the ground below. At a point when he stops, I quietly walk up behind him and smash him on the head with the stone, attempting to knock him unconscious. "There we go."

Answer: I attempt to sneak up on these men as quietly as I can. I signal for the man to not alert them of my presence. I sneak up behind one of them, and stab him through the back. The element of surprise is no longer to my advantage, and I must fight the second one. I hope that the old man helps me, and fight off the second man in an attempt to kill him. He is more experienced in battle though and lands a few hits before me and the old man can finish him off. "Would you like to come inside to rest? I can tend to your wounds," says the old man.

Answer: (I'm sorry about the font here, I have no idea why it did that.) Me- "How much for those seeds? And those farming supplies?"
Trader- "The seed prices vary, but for a bag of those wheat ones, it'll be about 50 gold. As for the supplies, it'll be 125 gold for the full set. These tools are made of the finest iron, sir."
Me- "I'll take them, but I don't have that kind of money. Is there anything I can provide or do for you instead?"
Trader- "Well... My family has been on a bit of a shortage of food lately. If you provide me with 50% of your crop output for the next three years, I'll let you have all the seeds you'll need. As for the tools, that price stays."
Me- "But sir... I can't grow food without the proper tools! How about I pay you 50 gold a year? I can make it with the crops I sell, and if you add it up for three years, it's even 25 gold in interest."
Trader- "Hmm... Fine, I agree to your deal. But I want a 10 gold safety deposit now; I need food for my family until you can start growing."
Me- "Deal! Thank you very much good sir! I promise I will not disappoint."

Role-playing: To play as a defined character, and to put yourself in the characters shoes in an established enviroment.

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Marcus Brande
Current Age: 17
Sub-race (if any):
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Marcus was born in a small impoverished village in the Seventis, where he lived till he was about 12 years old, when he left his family in search of a better life. His family were boring peasants, and even as an introvert he had felt to move on, hoping to try his fortune as a sell-sword over the boring life of a Seventis peasant.
He ended up in a dirty hut in a mountain range between Seventis and Alras, filled with folk of his kind. He lived with a small group of young mercenaries, and being the youngest of the group, the others taught him how to take care of himself, and how to shoot a bow. They asked for little in return as Marcus had made good company and reminded these war-torn soldiers of a more peaceful, innocent youth. During this time he learned to appreciate fire for its warmth and usefulness, as the group often spent nights cold and in the dark to avoid being seen along with the wreckless capacity of flames due to the mercenaries band use of burned earth tactics. Marcus learned to utilize a flint and steel to emit a dangerous fire and quickly grasped a knowledge of what burned, and what didn't. The other men appreciated his quick abilities, and he felt empowered by this knowledge of fire. After three years of living in the woods, Marcus wanted to move on. He signed up as a bannerman for House Carrion at the young age of 15.
Being a 15 year old bannerman means a couple things, and one of them was a lot of cleaning. Unfortunately, men could only serve as soldiers in the local legislation and at the time the legislation to be a true bannerman was 16. However, he could not return to his wild band of mercenaries after hearing this; they were already suffering from low funds and could not afford to take back in the young and inexperienced boy. Carrion provided a good home for Marcus though; while he had to clean and shine the weapons of the real bannerman while learning a basic education through watching the sons and daughters of nobility being taught. Before he could become a true bannerman, however, disaster struck.
A nationalistic peasant uprising of the Carrion lands had begun to fully take root and this tidal wave of revoluationary zeal had swarmed right into Castle Carrion. Peasants stormed in and due to the Lord's folly, the castle was burned and sieged by peasants with stolen arms. Marcus was sleeping when it happened, and when he awoke all he saw were flames. However, unlike other bannerman who were unaccustomed to the dangerous smoke of fire, Marcus knew how fire could choke a man in seconds killing faster then most blades. He rushed out, bearing his only weapon, a small bow and a few notched bodkins and looked for an exit.
He slinked across the innards of the castle, his small frame keeping himself away from the heat of flames and the heat of battle as unprepared Carrion bannermen fought against zealous serfs. However, stumbling upon a feast hall, he noticed a band of three unwielding serfs bearing pitchforks and kitchen daggers. The peasants began to approach him bearing arms, going to kill, and Marcus had to act in self-defense. Notching a bodkin with an arrowhead lit with the quick work of a pair of flint and steel, he fired into a feast table. The serfs laughed boisteriously, assuming he missed and taunting him for his noble status as they assumed he was a boy of the House, but their laughs quickly were muffled by an explosion. The liquor on the table, supposedly left from last night's dinner, exploded in conjecture with another, and the peasants were sent flying back, incapicated. However, this victory was short-lived as soon more peasants began to file into the long feast hall. Marcus could not fight them all off and soon began to panic as a young boy would. Fortunately, a hero appeared; the younger brother of the fallen Carrion lord came in, and swooped the boy up, before utilizing a secret exit within the feast hall to escape the hordes of savages.
It's been 2 years since that incident. Marcus continues to follow the estranged, weakened Carrion household, utilizing his pyrometrics and archery skills to fell foes. It's been his only home, and they've saved his life and taught him much. He journies with them to Elysium, hopefully to redeem their name and for Marcus to live a better life.
Ambitions for the Future: Marcus would like to serve his lords with greatness. Perhaps one day he can forge his own house of commoners, or become an exalted archer-knight such as the Greymanes, but for now he's just trying to compose himself after his bitter past.
Personality:
Despite being born in Seventis with boisterious northernors and talkative Southernors, Marcus is a rather introverted person, and likes to keep his thoughts to himself. He believes that the best way is the most rational way, and will often think a lot before acting against his own interests to help others. Despite this, he is loyal to his house because of his history, and would die to preserve the Carrion.
He has a pretty vivid fantasy, that in part has led to his almost morbid fascination with fire, which has become a bit of an obsession. Due to this, he almost always lights his arrows on fire. He has an extremely vivid fantasy, and will often just zone out thinking about whatever is on his mind. He appreciates precision, which is why he chose the bow rather than any hand to hand weapon, and derives great pleasure from shooting his bow. Even though he is introverted, this has only had an impact on his own personal thoughts, and has no problems socializing and having personal relationships.Being the pragmatical person he is, Marcus is capable of taking great risks if he deems the risk to reward proportion appropriate.
Skills:
Marcus is great with two things; bows and fire. Being a firestarter for a merc band at a young age helped him learn all the properties of fire while the bow has been the only weapon he's used consistenly in his past. He has some skill with a short swords and daggers from his prior years, but doesn't have the proper strength to bear a full on greatsword or double handed weapon. He can read and write at a basic level as well, and can do odd jobs thanks to his role as the "water boy" of sorts for proper bannermen.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Marcus bears a torn bannerman uniform of Carrion; unfortunately he's never bothered to ask for a new one and decided to attempt to stitch it back. He wears a hunting hat, and he has a rough pale skin as most lowborns do. He has a smaller frame then most with a height of 1.7 meters (5'6) and 62 kg (136 pounds) http://i.imgur.com/OsXqr83.png

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Marcus finds it odd that the dark-clothed figure is walking out in the daytime. His curiousty overcomes his general fear however, and he climbs up on a roof to slowly stalk the figure. He notices the figure stumbles upon an alley, and begins to fiddle a lockpick into a door in the rear of the palace, where odd enough the guards seem to be gone, perhaps even disposed of. Marcus thinks fast; notching and firing a bow may be too loud and may alert him to other conspirators in this heist and the spark of flint and steel may alert the thief to flee, yet he could not just let a thief rob the coffers of his liege. Taking out a concave mirrior piece one he carries around for firestarting purposes, while moving to only a few meters away from the man, he slowly angles the concave mirror to have the sun's rays amplify unto the clothe of the dark figure. While the man is too busy fumbling with the lock, the sun's intense heat coupled with the dark robes of the man spark a small fire right upon the man's body. The figure begans to shriek and holler as his robe is lit aflame, and the commotion brings guards to the scene. Marcus scurries off, pleased with the results.
Answer:
For some odd reason, Marcus hasn't his bow or flint on him. Marcus would NEVER leave home without a firestarter and has rarely done so without a bow. This causes him to panic as his head spins and his heart races; where did he leave his most valuable items? He looks around in the clearing, trying to figure out if he had lost them recently in the woods. He lifts up the longsword to see if it is anyone use, but Marcus finds its too heavy for him to properly use, as his swings are too slow for a refined swordsmen. Dropping the sword, Marcus sprints through the forest, hoping to go back home, praying that he finds his two only weapons. The thought of losing these two invaluable items has made Marcus totally forget about the bandits and the old man; however, the young Marcus's sprinting and panting has caused the bandits to think there is reinforcements afoot. Shething their blades, they warn the old man to pay his tribute on time and quickly flee, assuming the worst.
Answer:
Marcus stumbles unto the stall. Parched, he looks for something to quench his thirst.
"Have any drink?" he asks.
"well, I don't ´ave much, but oi have some real quality in this beer here"
"`ow much?"
"7 minas"
"seems abit high for some beer, i´ll give ya' 5."
"Would be for normal beer, but this be some good stuff. 6 is as far as i can go."
"This normal beer! Cloudy too! 5 is all you get!" sharply remarks Marcus, recognizing various liquors with his pyro-experence
"Right then, you tight *******." grumbles the shopkeep, filling a mug out with beer. Marcus ignores the comment and drinks his fill, leaving 5 coins on the table.

He had never even seen another human, so he set out to explore the wild for people with food, a bow, and some leather armor and a stone sword from the elves. Geldion could see a town out on a hill in the horizon, and he ran toward it excitedly, but tripped and broke his leg. Bandits saw him while sneaking down the road, and beat him and took all of his stuff. Geldion laid there moaning until an old man found him and took him in and cared for him. Everyone excepted him in the town, and loved him, so 10 years after living in the town, he set out to join the Emerald Knights, wanting to help people as the people from the small town did.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: *I walk up behind him and grab his shoulder.* "You, what is your business here?" I ask. "I was just on my way back to my house." he answers innocently as he pushes something deeper into his pocket. "What's that in your pocket?" I ask suspiciously. "Umm... food." he answers nervously. *I wrestle his rough leather jacket off of him, and diamonds and gold fall out of the pocket.* The man is obviously poor, he's then, has long fingernails, and his clothes are torn and rough, so I know they aren't his treasures. "GUARDS! Thief!" I yell as he dashes off. *I chase after him and shoot him in the leg, not killing him, but hurting his leg so he can't move. "Take this scum away." I say as the guards drag him off.
Answer: "Hey losers, picking on a helpless old man? Back off." I say as I walk into the clearing. "What are you gonna do about it?" they say smugly. *I throw a chunk of wood at them.* "Really? That's all you've got?" they laugh. *I shoot an arrow in one of their legs, just denting the armor.* "Ok, let's deal with this punk." they say as they start to chase after me. *I dash through the woods, and climb up a tree.* "Where did he go!?" one of them yells. "Keep going, he's probably faster then us." says the other as they keeps running. *I climb down from the tree, go get the old man, and I take him away from the house so the bandits can't find him.*
Answer: "Hey man, what will you buy?" the shop owner says.
"I'll buy some food, some water, and some arrows." I answer back.
"I'll give you... $75 for it." the shop owner says. (Sorry if the price is WAY wrong, I don't know how the price system works in LotC.)
"I guess that'll work." I say.
"What's happened with you lately?" the guy says as he's getting my stuff.
"I've been out exploring some." I answer.
"Run into any bandits?" the owner asks.
"2, they were trying to rob an old man." I say disgustingly.
"Mmm mm mm..." he says sadly. "People are just sad these days."
"I know, they had plenty of stuff, probably from stealing, but robbing a helpless old man? It's just lame." I say.
"I hear you, anyways, here is your stuff!" the owner says.
"Thanks." I say as I leave a tip as I walk away.

Answer: Knowing that the man is clearly up to no good I would rush up to the guards trying to avoid being seen by the man while keeping an eye on him. "Guards, Guards!" "What little halfing?" " A man is heading towards the royal palace right over... Where did he go?" "Ha, we have better things to do with our time then look for nothing" " He was right there I promise, just look" " We aint' fools, Defiantly not going to fall for that" "Well it seems likely that you are fools" Bobo stomps away angrily knowing that something bad is going to happen and the guards did nothing to stop it. He stares back at the palace waiting for something to happen, hoping that the man gets stopped.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage.Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: I would look back into forest looking for an escape route planning out where I will go if things go poorly. "You wouldn't happen to be robbing that man would you? It sure looks like it" "Halfling! you better drop your money and back off, Make sure you dont tell anybody who we are or you might have an accident and die, Wouldn't that be tragic" "Oh, I wouldn't want to die ill just get my pouch out" I would then pick up a rock and throw it at the bandits face turning. "ARGH! GET HIM NOW!" The two bandits begin to rush me I would sprint into the deep forest finding areas that I could use my small size to get through and slow the bandits down. Making sure the bandits can still see me I would lead them deeper into the forest further away from the cottage, "Ugh stupid halflings lets head... Where are we?! The little fool got us lost" After I get the bandits of my trail I would look for the closest town to report them.

Answer: I would examine the stall looking for useful items, after seeing some pots and pans not very good quality, a few bags of salt and some herbs, " Ill buy those cooking supplies for 15 Minas?" "I need more money then that how about 25?" " I don't think ill be able to do that how about 17 for all of it?" " Thats a little bit cheap don't you think? " " Ill pay 20 if you include that bread, Deal?" " Ah, I suppose so deal" Bobo takes out his pouch and takes 20 minas out and lays it out on the stall. "Change of deal how about 25 again" " We decided on 20 with the bread " " Well I need the money so im changing it " Bobo scoops up the money from the stall pouring it back into his pouch " I think ill buy my stuff elsewhere " " Actually 20 is sounding good right now, 20 minas for the lot?" " I suppose" Pouring the money back on his stall annoyed, I then quickly take the supplies and leave before he can try and raise the price.

Current Age: 315 (Averyem only knows a rough estimate of how old he is-around 300-due to his forgetfulness and exile)
Sub-race (if any): Wood elf
Past / History: Lived a sort of nomadic life in the wilds, moving from tree to tree as he saw fit. He married at the age of 281 to another wood elf woman (Vallei Ikurn) and moved into the city of Normandor. Two years later, they had a child and named her Lenii Berrleh. Almost a year later, Averyem recieved word that his wife and child had been taken by bandits. Averyem decided to track down those bandits, but the trail was mostly lost.
Averyem returned to his nomadic lifestyle as he tracked his family's kidnappers. It took him 4 months, and he approached the camp carefully. Questioning one bandit, he was told they had killed her for being uncooperative. In rage, he took out his knife and slit the throat of the man. Realizing he just murdered someone, he ran. His thoughts were jumbled, his family potentially dead, he just broke his vow to himself to never harm anything that wasn't absolutely imperative for him to... he could not live in a regular city anymore, so he took to his nomadic lifestyle yet again for a self imposed exile. 30 years later, he decided he was finally ready to reintegrate with society...

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Answer: I stare at the small child for just a second then look down at the grass, pondering to myself, "Do I risk injury or protect the emotional harmony of a small boy?" after several seconds, I walk up to the high elves and attempt to peacefully convince them that picking on the boy is not worth their time.
Answer: I help the elderly man up, give him his walking stick, and offer him food or drink if I have any at the moment. After I make sure he is safe and not injured, I pick up his gold and return it to him, not a gold out of place. If he offers me any as reward, I will not decline, but I will not ask for any.
Answer: Averyem does not trust travelling merchants, especially ones in middle of forests. I politely decline, saying that I have everything I need (even if I do not) and continue on my way, carefully searching for ambushes.

Full Name: Wulfric Gulzori
Current Age: 23
Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Wulfric was born into a middle class family. Their village that they lived in was fairly isolated area in the wilderness was there armed forces were rarely used since the attacks and raids of the undead which today were myths told at bed-time by parents to scare their children. As Wulfric got older, the fantasy of being forgotten by the world perished. Quickly, all the towns and farms in the vicinity were destroyed by the orcs. (From Wulfric perspective) But, no one knew about the attacks because of the poor way of transporting information between our people. My mother and father were one of one of the many doing their average day my dad a lumberjack and my mother a teacher went to work as usual. The day went on until they returned home and we all sat by the fire cozily. But then the catapults started firing. My parents and I were so very confused in what was happening at the time but then, someone opened the door saying “Fire! Fire! Orcs are attacking us! Get all the women and children out! All men come with me to fight! Before my father left with his only weapon (his axe) he looked in my eyes and said to me “Wulfric if I don’t come back don’t cry just know that my soul will be watching you” and with those words he left me and my mother for his certain death. It was up to my mother to get us out of this mess. We ran outside to see the roofs of some houses thatched with straw were on fire. As we ran we could only hope the secret passage out of the village had not caved in because of the boulders the lay in the streets and of roofs of houses. Somehow we are able to make it to the well which we jumped into because that’s where the secret exit is. When we get out of the tunnel outside the town walls we could see in the distance only one thing; Smoke.
After Wulfric and his mother gather all the survivors, they headed to a well-known refugee camp near Normandor. There, Wulfric learn to fish, cook, log, and most importantly use a bow. He was taught by a woman huntress to help him catch deer to feed his mother and himself. The day of the orc attack was the day he learned that orcs are too evil and believed that they were corrupted by Iblees and had to be dealt with. He also believed that no crime should be dealt with. The case of his village was put off so long, the corpses were unrecognizable because of the bacteria and mold on them. One thing they do know is Wulfric’s father died because they found his axe laying next to him smoldering and demented. Today, Wulfric is a mercenary that only takes jobs against orcs after he left the army which he served in for three years. Other than being a mercenary, he is a lumberjack who lives in a cozy cabin in the woods not far from his old refugee camp.
Ambitions for the Future: To defeat the entirety of the orc army and cast them into the pits of the void for which they belong. Have a family. Also, to have a right and just world whatever the cost.
Personality: Fiery, Quick to Anger, Depressed when remembering parents, Confident, Welcoming, and Serious

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Answer: I see what is going on. Wulfric ”What are you are you doing to that poor boy there?” ‘Leave him alone”. High Elves “Go you away ignorant fool!” I turn around but thinking back to what my parents would’ve done I turn back towards the boy. Again I persist with the High elves Wulfric” I said leave him alone”. ‘oh look, the little wood elf’s back’ snickers a High Elf ’I wonder what he’s going to do to us, I’m so afraid!’ Within me I suddenly feel fiery anger come from within. I slowly take out my arrow and say Wulfric ”Now I’m warning you(in a high pitched voice) and you better listen, last time someone got me mad they lost their leg for it’’. High elf’ He’s just bluffing right, boss,?’’ High Elf ‘ Yah, these wood elves wouldn’t hurt a fly”. Wulfric looks at the knife now glimmering in the sunlight. 1,2,3……BULLSEYE, a fly-like sound suddenly buzzs loudly. I turn to see if I missed but, surprised to see the arrow on the tree on the exact spot I was going for. From a distance I see a tiny , little figure covered in red blood. Wulfric Hmm.. Wouldn’t even hurt a fly, I don’t think so’. The two High Elves that were paying attention to me turn to their boss and say’uh boss, uh boss, uh boss..”’ High Elf ‘ WHAT!!’ High elf’ He hit the fly’ The Boss High Elve turns around just in time to see an arrow that skims the top of his head. He yells’Wood elve your dead!’ He comes running at me at an extremely quick passé. He tries to stop so he can hurt me but seems to have slipped on some mud conviently right next to me. He slips, and falls but, seems to still be willing to kill me. Just as he is about to be standing in front of a gigantic red oak I suddenly move aside before he can even stop himself. He hits the tree with a thud and falls to the ground. Meanwhile all of this was happening his friends stood in fear like statues afraid what to do next. Wulfric yells’ You, want a piece of me too?’ Their faces turn ghostly, white and run off screaming without even checking if their friend is alive or not. I go to the boy of my own kind and ask wulfric’ Are you alright?’ He says in a frail voice thank you. Before I can ask his name, he runs off. I turn around and see why. My little friend, by the oak tree seems to have woken up and he slowly crawls toward me. I say in the most cocky way I’ve ever done; which my parents wouldn’t approve I say Wulfric ’Oh your back?’ ‘I think I liked you better unconscious, let’s try maybe a rock on your head’. I snicker and throw rock about the size of fist and the High Elf is out again. I turn to leave but, look around to make sure no one’s there. It always seems like someone’s watching my next move. I shrug my shoulder’s and walk away.
Answer: I say are you O.K sir? I help him up and he says” thank you boy!” As a token of his thanks he gives me 5 of his gold coins and I help him pick up all the rest. I say to the old man “So, what is a human doing wandering the forests of the elves?” The old man says “I just enjoy walking the woods and the wonder of the forests.” “You don’t hear that every day from a human.” “Well I’m not the everyday human. A few weeks ago ridiculed by my people because I thought all races could become harmonious with each other like in the days of the great wars (War on Iblees and the undead with the Aegeans) so, I left into the wilderness to seek refuge with the elves and preach my thoughts to them.” “But sir, where are you headed?” “To the nearest village and I was hoping you could help me find the way there.” Well… O.K!” As we walk towards the village we continue to talk about what he preaches and begin to belive there is hope for all races to become harmonious again.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include: - item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: I see a grand bow that looks amazing. I say “that’s a wonderful looking bow you have there.” Man “Why thank you sir Elf. It is made of the strongest of red wood and the string is so strong it could be shot a 1000 times and the string would never wear. Wow! I say “So.. How much for the bow? “It costs 200 minas.” “200!” That costs WAY over my budget… I guess I’m not going to be leaving here with that bow…” “Wait!” Yells the trader at me I’m willing to haggle!” I say well… I want it for 75 minas.” “75! I want to make a decent profit from it. I’ll give it to you for 175.” Being stubborn, I say “I still want the bow for 75.” What if I give you the bow for 150?” “Nope. I want it for 75 or nothing.” “I’ll tell you what. I’ll sell you it for 100 minas throw in a leather set and a few apples for the long journey ahead. “It’s a deal.” I give him the hundred minas and take the bow and put the armor on and way good-bye. About ten minutes I laugh thinking to myself of what a great deal I had gotten. The jingle of the minas in my pocket in glorious and in reality, I already had well more money than needed to buy the bow.
Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?: Yes, I am actually very particular on who I roleplay with due to the lack of grammar.
Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: Yes, I have played on a few other servers and I also play D&D in my spare time.
Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: Yes, I have. I.E. "Withholding evidence in relation to a breach of the rules is not permitted."
-I do not agree with this rule, because of the fact that, the person could be threatened with a hack of their account and will not want to be hacked. Another reason is, if they keep it private, no one will know that they know other than the person who told them. Thank you.

In-Character Details
Character Name: Sam McPheerson
Character Race: Northerner
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Sam has been alone most of his life, he has seen things that normal people would never witness in a lifetime. He is usually seen traveling alone in clothes that a wealthy merchant would wear. He is a tall man and he is shaggy. He has a small beard and long hair. He has tanned skin from traveling his entire life. He longs to be in a relationship of some kind, but is too shy to speak with anyone.
*You find a tattered book on the side of the road*
My name is Sam McPheerson and I come from an unsheltered life. My father was killed when I was just 3 years of age. My mother tried to raise me, but I was just too much of a handful. When I was just 6 I burned down our family barn and thought nothing of it. As I grew older, I was involved in many petty crimes. Every time I was arrested I got a warning, on about the seventh warning I was banished from my town and left with not a scrap of supplies. It led me to stealing from homes, I was never caught. Now I come here to continue my life in the town of *unreadable* to gain supplies and relationships that I will probably leave behind again. Oh well, if you're reading this I am most likely in the nearest town, stealing to live and making few friends. *you flip the page*
I have made daring attempts since I have been here. I have almost been killed four times. I will now travel these lands to gain my riches and become one of the most trusted on the continent. I will then *the rest of the book is torn out*
What are your characters ambitions?: Make friends, become wealthy, and become trusted.
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: No, I believe I did much of the explaining in the bio.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
I talk to the dwarf and ask him of what he is selling. He replies with "Axes, gold, and charms" I simply tell him that those things are too heavy for me and I have no need for charms. I then ask him if he has a small golden dagger, he goes to check in the back. While he is back there, I grab his lock box, taking off for the gates of the town. He yells for the guards, as I swiftly make my escape, as my pockets jingle all the way down the path.
You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
I press myself up against the wall near the door, watching the situation escalate. I quickly exit the sanctuary and silently remove the orc's coin pouch and hurry back into the sanctuary. I hear the dwarf scream in agony and fall to the ground. I then wait until I hear the orc trot away. I exit the sanctuary and walk over to the dwarf's mangled body and remove his coin pouch and all of the golden furnishings of his outfit and sprint off.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: As the coins roll across the path, my mouth drops wide open. As I stand there gaping, the old man says, "You gonna help me up er' what?" I do not answer the man, I just walk over to a nearby tree and grab a sturdy branch an help the man up. He asks me to pick up his coins for him, so I bend down and gather them, as soon as I pick up the final coin, I drop the handful into my pocket and dart off down the road. I hear the old man cursing at me but I just keep running and running.

Complete the following biography on your character:

I'm not the most imaginative person, the point of the character is that he's a bit complex, please try taking that in consideration.
(Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: NOTE: I don't know the current prices in LotC, so prices are made up
-I saw you were sharping some arrows, could you use a bow with those, eh?
-Depends. Tell me something about the bow.
*Merchant gives finest compliments about the bow...
-I see, take 10 coins for it, take it or leave.
-YOU'RE KIDDING ME?! The bow is worth at least 30 coins! You tryin' to rip me off, eh?
-10 coins is all I have with me, I'll give you the 10 coins and 5 bread, finest in Aegis!
-This boy! *starts looking around laughing -you think I'm stupid, eh?! Ya think the bow's only worth that much?
*Amroth looks at bow again -You might be right. Where are you heading?
-Why should I tell you, eh?
-That far away? I'll give you 7 coins for the berr.
-Now wait a minute...
-...Or of course you can go! But night is only so far, and I cannot guarantee your safety, but my home can be safe at these times.
The trader starts to think, getting more and more nervious. -7 coins and 3 bread sharpears! Take it or leave it, eh? But when that bow saves your life, remember me, eh?
-I'll help you cover the cart.
Thanks for reading.

Minecraft Account Name: pman17
How old are you?: 15

____

Sub-race (if any):Cave Dwarf
Clan (if any): Indecisive
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Ambitions for the Future: As a small child. though hardly small at all, Keinel often was picked on by the other Dwarves. One day in the middle of an insult he snapped out and broke the other Dwarf's nose. From that day on all the Dwarves knew him as Keinel Iron-Fist. This inspired him to realize that he had battle potential. He vowed to himself and others alike he would become one of the best warriors in the Kingdom of Urguan.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):See attached picture. Keinel is short in height, as any dwarf,. He has a reddish brown beard and a grim, rugged look to him
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Keinel is easily angered at first, but if you get to know him, and vice versa, he can become a great ally and powerful companion.

He carefully walks across the bridge and mines the diamond ore to bring home to the Kingdom of Urguan.

Complete the following biography on your character:
The man was then arrested for conspiring to murder the Emperor,

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Answer: (I'm sorry about the font here, I have no idea why it did that.)
Me- "How much for those seeds?

Complete the following biography on your character:
He has a smaller frame then most with a height of 1.7 meters (5'6) and 62 kg (136 pounds)

____

"I will take 50 minas for it and the dagger is yours." "50 eh? Can you meet me at 30?" I say. The trader thinks for a moment. "40 and you got a deal" he says. "Along with a sheath?" I say. "Yes" he says. "Then you got yourself a deal!" I say as I shake his hand. I take the dagger and sheath and bid him farewell.
As i walk home I admire the dagger, wondering of its origions. When my house comes into view I sheathe the dagger and head to bed.

"Guards, Guards!"
"What little halfing?"
" A man is heading towards the royal palace right over... Where did he go?"
"Ha, we have better things to do with our time then look for nothing"
" He was right there I promise, just look"
" We aint' fools, Defiantly not going to fall for that"
"Well it seems likely that you are fools"
Bobo stomps away angrily knowing that something bad is going to happen and the guards did nothing to stop it.
It sure looks like it"
"Halfling! you better drop your money and back off, Make sure you dont tell anybody who we are or you might have an accident and die, Wouldn't that be tragic"
"Oh, I wouldn't want to die ill just get my pouch out" I would then pick up a rock and throw it at the bandits face turning.
"ARGH! GET HIM NOW!"
The two bandits begin to rush me I would sprint into the deep forest finding areas that I could use my small size to get through and slow the bandits down. Making sure the bandits can still see me I would lead them deeper into the forest further away from the cottage, "Ugh stupid halflings lets head... Where are we?! The little fool got us lost"
After I get the bandits of my trail I would look for the closest town to report them.
3. Answer: I would examine the stall looking for useful items, after seeing some pots and pans not very good quality, a few bags of salt and some herbs, " Ill buy those cooking supplies for 15 Minas?"
"I need more money then that how about 25?"
" I don't think ill be able to do that how about 17 for all of it?"
" Thats a little bit cheap don't you think? "
" Ill pay 20 if you include that bread, Deal?"
" Ah, I suppose so deal"
Bobo takes out his pouch and takes 20 minas out and lays it out on the stall.
"Change of deal how about 25 again"
" We decided on 20 with the bread "
" Well I need the money so im changing it "
Bobo scoops up the money from the stall pouring it back into his pouch
" I think ill buy my stuff elsewhere "
" Actually 20 is sounding good right now, 20 minas for the lot?"
" I suppose"
Pouring the money back on his stall annoyed, I then quickly take the supplies and leave before he can try and raise the price.

Answer: I help the elderly man up, give him his walking stick, and offer him food or drink if I have any at the moment. After I make sure he is safe and not injured, I pick up his gold and return it to him, not a gold out of place. If he offers me any as reward, I will not decline, but I will not ask for any.

Skills: Good with a Dagger/Bow. The best around for a lumber jack.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Go to the link:http://imgur.com/gallery/YJlhJwV/new
Any other details you wish to share about your character: He will beat every one when it comes to being a lumberjack (Except maybe a dwarf).
