I have my own server with lots of fun miningames. We have
Hunger Games-A fight to the death between players!
Spleef-Knock the ground out from under your oppenent to send them into the lava!
CTF (Capture the Flag)-Capture othe teams flag to score points, or kill other teams for points
Zombie Games-One person is made a zombie and tries to infect the others while they run and hide in a maze.
Mazes-Try to get out without dying
Creative Mode!-Build whatever you want (Must be approved by an admin first)
