Hey! My name's Jace, I am really awkward and shy at times, so I stay inside because where better than the internet? ^-^. I'm into games such as Portal 1/2, GMod, Starbound, and of course Minecraft! I'd describe myself as mature and independent, but I do enjoy a conversation. I'm a fangirl too, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Elementary, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries & The Originals are the most favourite TV shows that I like to watch. Okay guys, it's been a while and it's time for an update. I have some news but they're not what you expected. Thank you for sticking with this server though. Sorry for the upcoming news.
So the custom mobs plugin we use is inactive, that's one of the main plugins that makes the backbone of the server. Without it the entire project just doesn't hold together. I withheld this because I was trying to wait and see if the plugin develop would go back to work on it.
I'm thinking about scratching this project and converting into a second idea I have. It's practically the same thing except without the custom mobs. All mobs however would be a lot more overpowered.
The idea is a survival island where players explore the island to find gear, food, water, other equipment and survive. If you've ever played MineZ it would be a similar concept but with the item system of this server. The custom items will still be implemented so if you enjoyed it don't despair. All mobs would still be included but they will be a lot stronger.
This fixes a few core problems of the current server idea:
If someone lets mobs chase them away they mobs won't respawn and players can loot chests freely
- With the new mob system new mobs can spawn around players causing them to be on guard at all times.
The quest system is funky
- Multiple players on the same quest will have issues, dungeons didn't function as intended as well with multiple people.
Gear system was odd
- Gear is hard to find but breaks easily, players will want to repair but can't forcing to go through a difficult dungeon again to find the same gear. With the new server idea players will have to roam to replace gear that is wearing out or broken.
In order to not set us back too much, most of the server builds will be transferred to the new server or we'll use the same map.
My cousins and I are thinking of making a mini games server alongside this one while we work on the new server idea.
Sigh, I'm sad to see it go, I had a lot of fun on it while it lasted.
I'm completely up with this new idea, and I like how it sounds. All I have to say is, make the server however you want, chances are, I, and many others will still play on it. Its your server, make it however you want it. /end motivational speach
I look forward to this, and will play on it if it goes through. Take as much time as you want, family comes first, right?
Also, I would be happy to alpha-beta test the server if you need it. I've been around since the beginning and have been following this thread since I joined. I, again, look forward to this new idea

Hey yeah it sucks to see it go but there was a lot of flaws with it. I have the server saved just in case we go back to it though
The new server will have a lot more replay ability than the other which is why I prefer this one. Also more option for items as well.
The items will stay so it's not going to change drastically either! I've worked on the map, it's a very small island right now so we can get an alpha going to see if everything will work before we dedicate into a full server project again ( Check to see if the plugins work together and there are no errors between them ). I'll have PvP turned off for now as well since we won't have a large population and we have a small map.
Edit: I forgot to mention thank you for your support and everyone else still with us. I appreciate it and you guys motivate me to keep working on it.
