He has since altered his forum post to look different. But the website has yet to be changed at the time of this posting. I made a complaint to the web host so hopefully he will be forced to remove the copied content from there as well.
Towny seems like a good substitute for residence, less complicated, and gives a feeling of safety from PVP, by joining a town, everyone in the "town" pays taxes to maintain these buffs, and this would keep the signs (For those who liked), also, re-enable creeper damage, so it's to your benefit to join :-)
Lemme hear some feedback

The problem with towny is that madman is going to have a fit. He is going to have to rebuild the entire town because towny is set in its own version of chuncks 13*13 or something like that you can't set your own area instead it sets the area for you. In other words all the admins are going to have to go into building mode and set all the areas one at a time to set permission wether they are shops or residency or embassies and the taxes. THis also includes outpost for the portals. Its alot of work but could add order to the town.
What it does do is orginanize building control inflation trhough taxes and being a money sinkhole and allowing pvp all over the world and certain town allows creeper damage. Also this could be a good excuse to split the towns by island or making a new starter town initself. Also if we get towny give you a good excuse to move XENMA just saying compensation by helping him move his place to a new town or something.
Its the chickens ! Madman has a lust for your chickens ! Its nothing but a robber-baron move for the Egg industry ! =P

As for the plug-in's, whatever allows the protection of an area defined by whoever is creating it, I am happy with it. Also, that website for the Residence plug-in was quite informative, and I see no reason why anyone with a willing internet connection cannot take time to learn it, much like learning the basic commands for any server. I may not know every command by heart or know or to use it, but I would be willing to learn how to use it. My vote sticks with the Residence plug-in. Mostly that and I want to claim an area for myself, and not create a town just for the sake of protecting my home, my farms, and the soon to be tourist attraction known as the Ahauran Caverns =P.
is there any possible way to incorporate both at the same time if need be ? Towny for the actual towns, settlements, and cities of the realm. And Residence for the private lands owned only by the player ?
Sooo madman, what's this about me moving my house .......
also, mcmmo is not working
I never said anything about moving your house, lol. I was going to see how you felt about ME moving your farms to an agreed upon location (maybe even below your house if you wanted) so that I could integrate your very nice house into the town expansion. But don't worry, I won't do anything without talking to you first
Ill add some more chickens to your home as a reward. =)
Thanks buddy!
He needs more chickens
