Appearance: Hair color is Paris Green and is kept a little shorter than shoulder length. Skin color is Olive Drab, the texture being that tree bark covered with moss, while also having a few pebbles mixed in; some parts of him are actually covered in what appears to be moss. Eyes are a very bright shade of green. He is about 6' 7" tall. Weighs about 400 pounds. (Wood as I know it is heavier than flesh, so do not think of him as fat, but as a slightly muscular fellow.) Personality:He is a level-headed person, wise beyond his years (backstory explanation), he enjoys helping others, and wants to, before or upon his death (or however life leaves this mysterious race of people), leave something that will benefit all the races and let them know that the Waldegeist are equal if not better than the other races.
He likes to think and process through all the information he has in his mind. He does not like the Xanthil, but can bear them if need be. He will put himself in harms way to protect someone. He is not fan of violence, although he will engage in combat in defense of himself or others, he does not enjoy it, but he does enjoy the excitement of it.
BackgroundStory:(Not much lore on the conception of these people, so sorry if I do this wrong.) Earnley and the rest of his kinsman were created when Lodaka, with his life-fire, set a small grove of trees ablaze to see what would happen. As the trees burned, each one developed a bump of proportionate size. The longer the fires burned the farther out the bumps grew and began to take on shapes of humanoid appearance. All at once the bumps burst from the mother trees and these were the first generation of Waldegeist in the area. The trees they burst forth from would be regarded as a parent to the individual that was spawned from it. These people would come to live as a tribe and help each other in magical knowledge, philosophical thinking, and anything else that needed it. Their leader was chosen as the one who was the wisest and the closest connection to the area around them. It was unanimous that their leader was to be Balfhark, the only among them to not be fully separated from his or her parent. He was good at his job and the tribe flourished for its first decades. Earnley was spawned from one of the largest of the still youthful trees of the grove. He assisted in exploring the surrounding area, this influenced as he made one of his dreams to go explore the world once his tribe had settled in the area. He saw many animals in the area and told everyone of what he had saw. He just kept exploring the forest until he hit the edge of it, when he saw the plains at the other side of the tree line he was gripped with an unnatural fear of it and ran after a few seconds. He came back and told the others of what he had saw, many believed him, but did not care as they had no desire to explore as he did. A girl around his age, named Riloh heard of this discovery and asked him to take her there as she was interested in this among many other things. When they both arrived at "the Edge" as Earnley called it, she was surprised that the only place that she had ever known had a physical end, a place where happiness ended and an eerie fear began. They shared a long conversation about the meaning of this discovery if any and their feelings toward it. They eventually returned home to their village and spoke to Balfhark about it. Balfhark forbade anyone else from going there as it might anger Lodaka, which Balfhark thought he might have programmed into his tribe for a reason. Earnley and Riloh had many more adventures together, with their most famous being of finding a glowing statue sitting next to a tree that did not entirely look unfamiliar in shape and appearance. They also enjoyed a close relationship tempered further by their journeys and feelings for each other. One morning Earnley woke up to a strange foreign smell; it smelled of danger, destruction, and of the consumption of his very soul. He raced out of his shelter to see a the trees around him once more ablaze. At first he thought Lodaka was blessing them with more brothers and sisters, but then he saw how the tendrils of fire wrapped around the tree, consuming it, destroying it, killing it. He raced around the village rousing everyone that was not awake yet. An executive order was made by Balfhark for everyone to evacuate. As they all marched out they heard Balfhark's cries of pain and anguish, which on some nights Earnley can hear to this day. When the group had managed to arrive in a part of the forest that had not succumbed to the fire, Earnley took a head count. Someone was missing. One thought raced through his mind. One word, one name, person. Riloh. He raced back towards the burning village in an effort to find his closest friend. He ran around calling her name, with the ash burning his throat and the cinders burning his physical being. He heard a muffled cry calling from the direction of his own mother-tree. He found Riloh trapped underneath a very heavy branch from her mother-tree. Earnley tried to remove the branch from on top of her, but it was simply too huge. He had to think fast or else he was going to lose his closest companion. He told Riloh of the situation and how he was going to look for a way to save her quickly. Riloh told Earnley to come closer. So he did. Riloh told him that she loved him and kissed him. He barely had time to tell her likewise before he saw something he had never noticed before. His mother-tree was right next to hers, but more importantly they were the only mother-trees to have their branches grow into a tangle. He saw this as both of the mother trees began to fall towards them. Riloh said “Take this, keep it safe, and whenever you look at it, think of me.” As she conjured a red flower from her hand. Earnley replied, half in tears ”I will never forget you, the journeys we had, or the feelings we had for each other.” He ran, as he looked back he saw the glistening in her eyes as they were consumed by fire. At least she went quickly, unlike poor Balfhark. He ran back to where he had left the group and found they had all died with odd shafts of wood sticking out of them (Murder has never happened in this forest before this point so he has no experience with it.) He found one villager barely clinging to his life and asked what had happened. He described strange creatures that had come out of nowhere and used curved pieces of wood to send the shafts into them. The man then lay dead. Earnley heard something whizzing through the air as another odd shaft punctured a body right next to him. Earnley ran as fast as he could. He eventually came across the glowing statue that he and Riloh had found. It began to speak. It told him of how it was a golem, how it sensed Earnley was in spiritual and emotional pain, and it even tried to comfort him. The golem told him that he had almost reached the end of his lifespan as well as the elements of the surface world are not as friendly as the ones below the ground. The golem told him he had a gift to give him, one that may make it easier to forget or at least understand what had happened. The golem grabbed Earnley and gave him a bone-crushing hug. Then there was a great flash of light and the golem was no more. Earnley felt centuries of knowledge flow through him as that had been exactly what the golem had given him. When he looked down he noticed he was entirely encased in stone, yet he could still move. Earnley walked around the forest until a group of creatures that had killed his friends spotted him. They opened fire on him. He ran to get out of the volley before one hit him. He was eventually chased to the Edge. Choosing fear over death he headed into the plains. Still being chased he turned and felt an emotion that his vault of wisdom identified as anger. His anger caused his rocky outer shell to explode from him, killing all of his pursuers. He no longer has a rocky shell and the only part left were a few pebbles merged with his skin here and there. He then realized that he didn’t feel any fear from this open space as the golem shared his knowledge with him he learned that there is no reason to fear them. He wondered off into the distance going through all the information at his fingertips. He used this knowledge to start a journey to the nearest population center. On the way he learned that there were more than one god, yet he still chose to worship only Lodaka and the moon is nothing, but a rock, yet he still remains wary of it. He learned that the things that had attacked his village were called Xanthil. He almost reached the town when he saw a forest and decided to take a rest. When he entered it he saw more of his own kind. More Waldegeist. This is his new home. One saying Earnley tries to live by; “He who serves his fellows is, of all of them, the greatest.”

Name: Nikola Xavier
Age: 33
Gender:Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Nikola has long brown hair, which matches well with his dark brown eyes. He is not a built person, however he does not look scrawny either. His height is about 5'11". Though in general he is a content person, his face fails to give the impression of so, giving him the appearance of being sad.
Personality: Despite his age, Nikola is still very young at heart. He enjoys life, and does not take it for granted. This does not mean he is ireliable. If he gives his word, he will stick to it until the end. He is a pleasant person to be around, never fails to relieve tense moments, all while keeping serious and on topic.
Background Story: Nikola was born and raised by his mother, his father having left his home tribe to satisy his curiosity of the world. As a child was very calm and respectful. He grew up happy, despite never getting to meet his father. As he reached his teenage years, he began to take on responsibilities that his father would have done had he been around, and taking care of his aging mother. He quickly found out that he is not built to be a swordsman, but that he had some success wielding a bow (but once again, not great). He struggled to provide services to his tribe and his mother, but always persevered through these hardships. Most importantly, he was happy. When he became the age of 20, he met an older man, a man who was similar to him. He was not strong nor was he inclined for archery. But this old man, was still very active in helping the tribe. He was intelligent. He could build devices that would defend the tribe against attacks, and could plan attacks that often prooved successful. The man was old, and had great difficulty supplying needs for himself. Nikola noticed this, and began leaving extra food at the entrance of his house whenever he could, without ever confronting him. One day, the man caught Nikola placing the food down. The two of them remained quiet for a long period of time, gazing at each other. Finally, the old man spoke, and a conversation sparked out of it. The old man explained that he was grateful for all Nikola had given him, however, that he would no longer acceot it for free. Nikola jumped on the occasion with a trade proposition. Having known his past work, Nikola went on to asking the old man to teach him his way of analysing situations, and constructing devices and tactics too overcome the issues. This trade went on for about 10 years. Shortly after Nikola's 30th birthday, the old man had died of old age. A couple years later, Nikola's mother suffered the same fate. Despite these hard times, Nikola did not grief long. His tribe became his dedication, and he continues to improve it in any way he can, using what he had learned over that past years.

Name: Antares
Age: [You left no lifespan range for Dryads, we'll say for now that he looks to be like a 20 year old human.]
Gender: Male
Race: Waldegeist
Appearance:
Antares would have the face of what looked to be an adolescent human- but that was where the similarities stopped entirely. Those deep emerald eyes were far from human-like and held a wild look within them, as feral as the wilderness from which he heralded from. His hair appeared to be almost the same color of green as well, but it hardly looked like human hair- it was more.. plant-like? Almost like moss, except not.. the best comparison your mind could muster was the vine-like leaves of the willow trees.. a pair of keen pointed ears lightly peeking out from the sides of his unkempt hair. The rest of his body was humanoid in appearence, yet it was just a clever disguise- for he was after all a hunter for his people.. what good would it do for him to not be able to blend in when he wanted? Roots of bark would twine together to form his 'legs' and 'feet', the same bark-like material would also be found all the way up to his hips before stopping at his abdomen, which almost looked human to your realization- smooth tan skin covering toned muscles which were rippled much like any beasts' would. His arms however once more started in that bark skin at the top of his shoulders, covering down the entirity of his arms and twisting into what seemed to be 'hands' at the very end. Though not very manipulative as human hands would be with their finely tuned joints and digits, his own 'hands' could untwist to become three vine-like arms.. with so much more potential; for he could easily tend to the earth around him with such appendages.. or deal a heavy blow to one who would harm it.
Personality:
Antares is a very protective Waldegeist- protective of his people, loved ones and the land he lives upon- and the world Elseria as a whole. He strongly follows Lodaka as he believes that life is sacred, but he will never hesitate to put someone under who has done him or those he holds close harm. As a waldegeist he also fears the moon and often prefers to be underground rather than walk the land during the night- it is only around the time of new moons when it cannot be seen that he will dare venture the dark overworld.
Background Story:
When his life first started, Antares would remember being very still.. surrounded by something warm and comforting.. something that nourished his body and mind as untold days and nights passed. He couldn't remember much besides that secure feeling he had when the material around him warmed.. oh how he felt so much stronger and vibrant during that time! Then came the chill.. he felt so cold and afraid, weak.. helpless. It was only till he was older did he understand what it was that he was feeling- the cycles of day and night, the warmth of the sun that brought him such vigor; followed by the moon which swept that feeling away, leaving him empty and fatigued. To any other race it would probably have been difficult to understand, but to Antares, it was as simple as life and death to a mortal. When he grew older he would learn more about his tribe's ways, the worship of Lodaka and how to use his own inner magics to manipulate the flora and fauna around him.. to bring life to the grove in which he lived.. his powerful experience growing as a child helped shape him to become a potent mage for his people, instilling a strong value of life within him that very much influenced how he lives his life- seeking out areas where forests were torn down by other races or lands where the blessing of life had been all but snuffed out.. spending many days working the land and his magics to bring balance back to the land; it is this balance that Antares' believes to be his ultimate destiny in life.
WrSmega, please wait until the lore for the races are posted. Guilds like the Holy Paladin Alliance goes against the lore that is being written for the humans.
WrSmega, please wait until the lore for the races are posted. Guilds like the Holy Paladin Alliance goes against the lore that is being written for the humans.
A little vague on the details with the current lore. Unless new lore is posted leading to a different nature of the human race, I won't stand corrected. Says.."
They are short-lived people, relying on groups of people working together to achieve great things in small periods of time, yet the humans are not frequently in alignment with each other and are thus prone to internal disputes and separatist strife."
This does not fully go against the creation of guilds, but the meaning of the current lore does promote the possibility of allowing guilds.
I am asking you to refrain from recruiting and creating guilds before the lifestyle of the races is posted. A Holy Paladin Alliance would not work within the Human kingdom of Conara.
Can we get a straight answer on the possibility of factions within races?
We want to give players the opportunity to make factions, but we want control over what is made, so we aren't left with dozens of small factions. We do want to add a Paladin faction, but the admins and staff will add it themselves, from there we will look at someone to lead it.
You have shown us that you're interested in running it, so we will keep that in mind.

Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Slim, Clean-shaven, Slightly yellow-tinted, Medium length black hair, ,brown eyes, and an average height. Prefers to wear darker clothing, as his profession of Assassination would demand. He typically wears a dark green hooded coat, and black pants. (During assassinations, he raises his hood, to hide his face.)
Personality: Meek, and rather modest, Rehtael upholds high-standards for himself as a professional. He withholds some degree of chivalry, being especiaaly coutious to women. He draws a peculiar liking to the Waldgeists, and has exceedingly high fascination for Waldgeist females, refering to them as "Godesses of the Forests".
Backstory: Rehtael was a poor child growing up. Much of his time was spent salvaging useless garbage to sell enough of it to eat. At the age of 12, he met Quadsin, a large golem sitting in a junk pile he was scavenging in. The Golem didn't seem to have a place or purpose, so Rehtael took it in. Since then, Quadsin has proven an excellent compainion, albeit difficult to talk to, due to its mental deformities, however it still proves useful as a bodyguard, butler, and heavy lifter. Years of a rough, parentless childhood forced him to mature quickly, and he acts much older than he actually is. In his early teens, he met a bounty hunter, who would occasionally give him free food, and eventually Rehtael found the manhunting buisness to be extremely profitable. Later in his teen years, he became a locksmith's apprentice, and became an expert lock picker, thus he was able to hone his skills to a point, in the arts of infiltration. Now he is 20 years old, ready to begin work as an assassin for hire. (Quadsin the golem will be played be a friend of mine, who will apply soon.)

A little vague on the details with the current lore. Unless new lore is posted leading to a different nature of the human race, I won't stand corrected. Says.."
This does not fully go against the creation of guilds, but the meaning of the current lore does promote the possibility of allowing guilds.

(Not into the Paladan crap)
We want to give players the opportunity to make factions, but we want control over what is made, so we aren't left with dozens of small factions. We do want to add a Paladin faction, but the admins and staff will add it themselves, from there we will look at someone to lead it.
You have shown us that you're interested in running it, so we will keep that in mind.
IGN: Rehtael (Pronounced Reh-tay-el)
Age: 17
Other RP Experiences: Soul Eater RP, TF2 RP, Fallout 3/NV (Yes, I like to roleplay in single player games) Private Minecraft RP's
Previous Minecraft experiences: I've been playing since 1.6 BETA
Why?: I like to RP with friends, and lately I've been especially craving something immersive.
What I offer: Deep RPing, and creative architechtural designs. (I specialize in Nether portal altars)
ICC:
Name: Rehtael (I like to keep it simple)
Accepted. I like how you included your friends character.
It's easy.
