Your IGN: icesord10
Who banned you?: I don't know
Why were you banned?: For spamming
Do you admit fault?: Yes I fully admit my mistake and I am very sorry. I love this server and won't ever do it again
Might I suggest moving the silk touch on spawner to donor3 and also donor4. The other thing, donor4 should get a sneak perk that can toggle the sneak user nameplate. :3
In my defense, there was a fun/rival relationship between me and a specific player elbowgrease~~ something, many hours beforehand.
Now he (elbowgrease~~) clearly owns me, and a friend I play with, so of course we have a fun relationship where I call him elbowfag, due to reasons that he is my enemy and I want to slightly annoy him to entice a duel. Elbowgrease never told me to stop calling him such (otherwise, if I continued that would be considered excessive), and we continued to have the same love/hate relationship (as everyone does in a game). As I was calling him out to a fight, with both of us giving coordinates to have a fighting ground, rasorath, joins in the fray and owns me and my friend.
1. He (rasorath) exploited the server lag (was present throughout the entire day for all players).
2. He decides to call me out about the rules, and I understood the discrimination part about sexuality, along with my explanation of using “mycraft” (see server logs for details).
3. I decide he is abusing the server in an overpowered way, thus I tell him/her fraps is in place of me gaming.
Obviously, to this point an inference can be made that rasoseth (whatever age he/she may be) was mad/ticked, pointing out the obvious and very specific rules, whether I was annoying him/her with question regarding the rules, no moderator should be made/have-power to act against various questions regarding the rules (such as the unfair server lag exploitation) or using fraps. There is no specific rule that does not allow discrimination against a player (such as constantly calling him/her a "noob, etc.") this is going to happen/supposed to happen between players. This is commonly referred to as “in-game relationship build up,” allowing enemies and rivals to be ever present on the server (in which I/others compete against). Therefore, after reading the rules to ensure there is no such player discrimination, I decide to not discriminate against homosexuals/same-gender sexuality not realizing I was directly disscriminating (my fault, I admit), and changed my favorite rival/enemy's name to "elbowshit", not trying to spam nor trying to cause harm to various aspects regarding the rules and player. After saying this, Rasorath responds with "I’m only going to tell you once" or something of that nature, ensuring me that I am not supposed to say game-discrimination (not in the rules), of course I am sure that he is abusing his power so I record with fraps and tell Rasorath to not abuse power (using fraps as my general evidence) without ever saying anything about the other player(s). Rasorath's response is basically, him saying "alright" and contacting "smelly" to ban me saying he warned me, even though I stopped saying anything after stating "I'm using fraps." This proof can be clearly seen in the server logs, and in this video, which was recorded with fraps.
The abuse of power is not in the glitch exploitation (that’s child's play), but in the invalid ban against me using fraps in my defense, which under no circumstances, is breaking the rules. Now there may be the argument that saying “elbow ****” is excessive cursing, but from dictionary.com the definition of excessive is “going beyond the usual, necessary, or proper limit or degree; characterized by excess: excessive charges; excessive criticism.” The usual, is me, an average gamer, trying to call out and fight against the player “elbowgrease” in the way most common and known, nothing more. There is the factor of gaming-relationships along with the fact that there is no such rule against player discrimination (directed only at the username of a game) Now with proper judgment, understanding of the server rules, and English definitions, Rasorath clearly made an invalid ban with me saying “I am recording with fraps!” and nothing more.
I am not angry about being banned from the well-built and fun server, but rather the fact that a player (Rasorath) with power, used improper judgment and abused his/her power without understanding crucial factors on the server. Ergo, an argument can be made that there is sadly, an abusive mod on the server. I hope that this message will allow players to be playing an actual game away from the pains of the harsh life in the real world, without the inclusion of angry, power-abusing admins/moderators.
