Welcome to Sovereign, a server that is going places! We have 24/7 99%+ uptime, ZERO LAG (24 GIGs of RAM) no matter where you live in the world guaranteed, an MMO-style leveling system with skills and abilities, and a towns system that allows players to create towns that are protected from griefing and PvP! Read below for more details on each of our major features.

Factions allows players to create protected areas. The Faction Admin can give members defined "ranks" within his Faction, add Faction Moderators, all kinds of crazy stuff. The main purpose of having a Faction, however, is to protect your creations! We are a build-focused server, so you don't want to get your stuff griefed... claiming plots "protects" your structures from the bottom of the world to the top of the world and ensures you will be safe. Anyone can choose to enable / disbable PVP for themselves, attempt to steal land from warring factions, and construct a Faction Monument in the main spawn town.

Arena PvP/PvE are events players can partake in to earn awesome rewards. There are PvP Arenas to battle other players to be the last man standing, or Team up with other players, choose a class, and battle hordes of monsters.

Our leveling system has the following skills that you can level up. Click on any of the skill links below to see more detailed information as to what each skill gets you. Some examples; faster / luckier mining, repairing your gear instead of making all new gear, getting *additional* drops when digging dirt / sand / gravel such as glowstone, etc. Click on the links below for more information!

Mining - Woodcutting - Herbalism - Excavation (digging) - Unarmed - Archery - Swords - Axes - Taming - Repair - Acrobatics

An economy system plays a large part in the server as well. The admin shop in the giant diamond building in spawn town will allow you to sell your useless goods like cobblestone, sand, farmed materials, etc... and trade them for our currency! The currency system is simply 'Coins'. Doing things like starting towns, expanding towns, starting nations, declaring wars... will all cost you Coins in order to do.

- No griefing
- No hacks / cheats / illegal mods (Zans Minimap and ImprovedChat mod are OK) / glitches
- No overly offensive chat / all caps / chat spam
- Be mature
- No religious / sex / political talks, keep it g-rated and mature!

And remember; Don't bug the admins TOO much, we are very busy running the server.. most of the questions you have can be answered on our website!

To join the server you must simply reply to this thread with the following information. You will typically be whitelisted within 10 minutes and allowed to log in. Once you log in, go out! Explore! Start your towns, get friends to join your town, build an empire!

Once you've applied to be whitelisted, the server IP address is as follows;
main.sovereignmc.net
(^^ put that in your minecraft, that is the IP ^^)
