I recently joined this server and can only spend a couple hours a day. These hours are made very pleasant by the welcoming community members, nice events, good rules and the vanilla feel. So I would warmly recommend anyone who likes a vanilla feel with nice people to join this server.
I've been on this Smp for about a week now and am seriously amazed at how good it is, for real. Really friendly community, helpful staff. The vanilla+ style is what I always look for in a smp. Perks are earnable/purchasable with in game money and include things like /back ,fly , /feed, etc.
Nothing is held behind a paywall (maybe some cosmetics, but nothing pay to win like). I like that the perks come as potions that give 1,3,or 24 hours of the perk, which I think is cool, because it still forces you to be clever about using the perk, as its not 'always on". Keeps one motivated to do daily jobs for game cash and voting give the best crate keys ever-even the 'throw away' prizes are pretty cool. The economy is stable and not inflated, or muddied by a server shop. Player shops provide building blocks, resources, spawn eggs and more. Very helpful when first joining as a shulker is affordable for your early game collecting. Seems like everyone on here are epic builders, so theres alot of expertise and inspiration when you want to make something beautiful and epic as well. There's no claim shovel/towny,i ts anti-grief, staff will roll back any damages or theft doe to you. Which is nice as you can build anything without worrying about having claim blocks or towny style chunks. Keep inventory is on, something I look for in a Smp,as it lets you focus on building, collecting and exploring stress free.. I like to build and hang out, everything about Wintercrest Smp is more than conducive for most all game play styles.
hmmmm...I think thats about all I got to say. Its worth checking out for sure.
Everyone on this server is friendly and helpful. Its easy to get started with all the community farms available. This server is family friendly and all inclusive. What I like best about Wintercraft are all the perks like 24 hour fly, feed, and back. You get these from being active and voting. Voting gives you prizes and most are useful and fun. This server has pets and cars. You can buy just about anything in the player shops. The economy is stable and reasonable, it is easy enough to make money. Come play on Wintercraft.
i just joined this server a bit ago and everybody seems really nice! i was welcomed instantly by everyone when i joined and i feel like i'll really enjoy this community! im super excited to play on an anti-grief server where my builds will be protected

What is your favourite aspect of WinterCrest?
I only joined the server about a month ago, and at this point I think I will contine playing on it for a while. The community is small, but very welcoming. When I have had questions there were always multiple people ready to help. I've been in other similar SMP servers such as AppleCraft, but none have provided the immersive and friendly experience that the community in Wintercrest does. So, that being said, I would have to say he community and players is my favorite part.
I am pretty new on this server and I absolutely love it. Whenever I needed help I got an immediate response and everyone is so friendly! There are multiple shops where you can purchase variety of objects. It's a lovely server and I would recommend it to everyone :)))
WinterCrest SMP. Probably the first SMP I play on and I don't regret it. This server is on another level. Server's community, staff, players its all on point. Everyone is so pleasing and nice. When I joined the first time I was shocked and I still am after 1 week of playing. That's how great this server is! I'm really enjoying this server. Everyone is welcomed!
WinterCrest is a really great server i joined it a couple days ago and i found much friends i would like to share it to ya'll! You must play on WinterCrest its incredible
I've been on WinterCrest for a while now, despite normally being a 'jump into a server, get overwhelmed, and leave' kind of person. It's easy to get involved with events, community, and occasional gatherings here and there. Everyone's super chill and willing to help out, and there are plenty of shops and warps to help with getting started. Cool server, very recommended! <3
This server is so much fun! I've played on a number of servers over the years, but I'm so happy I found WinterCrest. The community is huge and super inviting, I haven't met anyone that wasn't friendly! They really know how to make you feel at home, even when you just start out. The plugins on the server are also really cool, having access to warps all over the server is awesome, and makes shopping really easy too! If you need it, chances are you can buy it! And the admin team is always on the ball finding new and interesting things to add, from cosmetics to events... speaking of events, the Castaway event going on right now is INSANE. The map they made for it is soooo pretty, it's a marvel to see! Come join us ^___^
Let’s talk about this Wintercrest MC server. Server is on 1.19. While you may be able to log on with 1.19.1 or .2, it’s buggy as crap and tends not to play well. So stick with 1.19. Peak times you can expect 20 people online, off peak around 7.
Staff: I have a high expectation of what is considered a good server staff, and what is a bunch of dipwads. I usually don’t need much if any staff intervention, but I do expect them to be available, helpful when needed, and engaged with the people daily. The Wintercrest staff tends to play just like non staff which is fantastic. Wintercrest so far has fit squarely in the ‘pretty darn good’ category. There have been very few times when no staff was online (visible anyways). There is a discord channel with a ‘ask staff’ section which always seems to get a response very quickly. I’ve seen no staff abuse of their permissions/abilities, and they do monitor frequently for griefers, x-rayers, hackers, etc. Overall, I would rate staff commitment and interaction with players as excellent.
World: Set to hard, keep inventory is on, mob grief is off. Border is set to 20k x 20k which is generous given the small population of the server. There is an established spawn area which is well done. Lots of signs providing helpful info. You can move around the world using /warp and /wild and /rtp. There’s a resource world at /warp resourceworld which is reset monthly. It appears to be set to always day and no mob spawn.
Gameplay: There are the usual /tp commands for getting to other players and /sethome for getting back to your places. The number of set homes (and other perks) are linked to your rank which is gained through voting. There is even an auto vote function. Public farms and xp grinders are available through /warp. PVP is set to off but may be used in designated areas or during special events. There are no land claims! This worried me at first, so when I first joined, I ran out 20k and built right at the border. Staff does say that all blocks are logged and damage can be rolled back if necessary. I haven’t seen/heard of anyone reporting mass griefing yet. Eventually it will happen, it’s the nature of the beast. If the rollback works as stated, then it’s only dealing with the initial outrage/frustration of the damage to your build.
Events: Staff holds some pretty amazing events. The last was a “Castaways” event with custom mobs and drops. They put in a huge amount of work and effort. I haven’t seen this level of special event anywhere else.
Players: Like I said, the server population is not too big. Chat tends to get lively at times. Cursing is not prohibited (point to note if you let your young child play here), but I’ve not seen it commonly/overly used. Does happen though, so be aware. Players are helpful and it’s usually pretty easy to get an answer to a question. Definitely not a toxic environment.
Economy: In game money is used to purchase from server/player owned shops. The shops can be found using /warp. Money is gained by selling things to other players, as a voting reward, doing jobs (mini quests) at /jobs. Diamonds for $1…yup.
Donation/Server store. Real money, everyone’s favorite topic. There is a server shop which will happily sell you items, ranks, perks, pets, and quite a bit more. This server is on the higher end in terms of price for virtual items. Some people have very strong opinions on spending real money for virtual stuff, what the Eula allows, blah blah blah. I boil things down to the basic level: if you don’t like the idea of spending real money, just don’t. If someone else does and they now have what could be considered God level armor/weapons, you don’t have to compete with them in any way. Just do your thing and let others do theirs. For me, I spent $40 on a rank which allowed more set homes, fly, /sleep and other stuff. Minecraft is entertainment, nothing else. When the wife and I go out for a movie ($50) or dinner ($40), its just entertainment. I spend a lot of time on Minecraft so the entertainment value of the $40 I spent is worth it to me. If it’s not worth it to you, don’t. Keep in mind that the server owner has hosting bills monthly. There are always recurring expenses to keep a world running every day for the enjoyment of others.
The End: Wintercrest, better than most. Recommended.
This server is legit the best me and my bestfriend join about 2 weeks ago and it’s the best the most fun place ever the staff and super friendly and the owner is very active she always tries her best she is amazing, the custom mobs the events the server it’s self is heaven join it now!!
I haven't been on much due to a lack of inspriation, but when I have been online i've been welcomed, specifically by Prof_Tofte and VampireJack07 who welcomed me into their kingdom in my first hour. I'm doing the Castaway event, and I am... Screaming at the worms. the lack of p2wness is a welcome change from LITERALLY EVERYWHERE ELSE
I've been playing on this server for almost four years now. The anti-grief/rollback features and their resource world make this server a fantastic place to build because you don't have to worry about claims or landscape grief. On top of that for as long as I've been playing the staff have always been really helpful and fair when dealing with issues. All and all if you're looking for an active community and a laid-back environment to play Minecraft in I know of no better place than this server.
What is your favourite aspect of WinterCrest?:[/b] Personally when I join these servers it always starts the same, bombarded by a million people asking you to join their town/nation, asked constantly to leave feedback on everything that exist and overall you just feel overwhelmed by the starting phase and feel like there isn't much you can really do when you come to trying to get yourself situated.
However with WinterCrest the community is pretty calm, you don't get a tonne of messages requesting you to do this or that, you're left to your own devices and overall the Chat is Active and very responsive to any questions you may have, which to me is a perfect balance when you sometimes simply want to start yourself up without needing to worrying about the other members.
Where can i start about this server? From the amazing staff to the beautiful community multiple towns run by people of the server with active staff that are super friendly, what can be better than that? Custom events and enchants for the whole community to enjoy with daily challenges to overcome! What are you waiting for? Give it a try its always free!
Super friendly server amazing community and the mods are very active and helpful.
theres always new events and almost no griefing wich is surprising with no claim plugin.
overall very active friendly server 100% worth a try
the server is really fun and friendly . join this you wont regret it trust me
