RP Prime is a server whose goal is to create a fun, uncomplicated, creative roleplay environment. With fewer restrictions on character ideas, engaging core concepts, and quick to grasp lore, you can jump right in and help shape the environment. Our central belief at RP Prime is that no one should be "in charge" of driving a plot, making events or shaping the world. Don't have to wait around for something to happen, be the change you want to see! We have the foundation, you build the world!
There is a general aesthetic theme, moderate backstory, and rules for the world but the rest is in your control! Choose any appropriate skin you want, be any reasonable race you can think of, rename yourself whenever without the need of an admin, act out as any class that you can think of, invent your own magic, and build onto the world. Do anything you desire so long as it fits the theme, follows the rules, and above all is logical.
Server Concepts
Wild West meets Fantasy
The look and feel of the setting is the Wild West in aesthetic and technology, but magic and other fantasy elements are interwoven to keep the possibilities unrestricted. Magic can push the boundaries of the technology to an extent as long as you keep it within that pioneer feel the West was known for.
General Plot Setup
The recent discovery of powerful magical ruins and artifacts, nicknamed Romm after the ancient civilization, sparked a global “gold rush” on the untamed land of Bide. The island continent has been flooded with droves of pioneers looking to strike the next big Romm mine in order to bring glory to their homelands and personal wealth for the individual prospector. Since then, the shanty towns that were quickly assembled have formed communities with their own way of life, capable of braving the lawless mesa.
Server Design
Creative roleplay is the entire premise of the server. That has been the guiding principle for how the server should be run. In order to support this, several design choices have been implemented. The world is a custom mesa biome to give an interesting landscape that fits with the theme. The world size is kept compact to encourage frequent player interaction, but with ample space to explore and carve out your own place. Lastly, all players are given creative mode so that everyone is equipped with the most resources available to develop their unique roleplay. The whole point here is to come together and create cool stories.
Rules - Common sense and trust
No griefing. Only if it serves a RP purpose like smashing a window in rage. When in doubt, ask the owner for permission - keep it simple, small, and with good purpose.
All character death must have consent. We are not trying to “outplay” anyone. We are here to create interesting stories.
No unnecessary stealing from unlocked chests. Like everything else, chests and their contents are used for an RP purpose. When stealing, leave a sign or tell the owner afterwards to better formulate your next RP steps together.
No meta or power gaming
No erotic RP. Compelling stories can be made without having to go into too much detail.
Most importantly respect everyone and behave intelligently

Civilization makes the world small, too small for tom's taste, too many blurred lines, Bandit and Lawman only separated by who pays you. long gone are the days of white and black hats, clear cut lines. Bide was the last frontier, untamed, quiet. a good place to find peace as the sun sets on his story. a long tale of bloodshed, revenge, and repeated loss. too much blood both on his watch and at his hand. his dreams still haunt him with the faces of innocents slain by his blade during his highway man days. Fist fulls of money that only cost his soul.

Great all around application - enjoyable from start to finish! Happy to have you on board.
That's way back from the good old days! Great to bump into you again. Since it's been so long though you'll need to make an application. Looking forward to see how your roleplay has developed since then.

If not born there, what brings them to the wild lands of Bide?: The rumors of great potential wealth and undiscovered magical artifacts had finally reached her home continent. Multiple parties would form, deciding that they would set course for Bide. With a strong thirst for magic, wealth and power she'd decide to join one of these travel parties.
If any, list and[/b] explain combative abilities:
Light revolver, through the use of magic she can shoot photons out of her revolver acting as almost instantaneously traveling bullets.
If any, list and[/b] explain non-combative abilities:
Proficiency in using magic to manipulate light. Basic knowledge of magical artifact. As a trader and seller she has a vast knowledge of what things are worth, like metals, gems and other valuables. Well versed in surviving in the wilderness using "modern" equipment.
RP Test:[/b]
Prompt One:[/b]
Upon leaving the cave entrance the man would cock his shotgun pointing it in the air. "You heard the man, take your leave" He'd bark, before spitting out his chewing tobacco towards me.
The miner throwing rocks put his arms in a cross and gave an victorious smile. "You heard the man"
"Im here to collect Mr Johnson's money, you can shoot me, but the guys replacing me won't be either nice or reasonable." I'd say before taking a puff of my cigar.
The guy with the cocked gun would shout "You have 30 seconds to be out of my sight before i blow your brains out" and point the gun in my direction.
"Leave him be Rodrick! I'll give him the money" The old miner would say before throwing a sack of coins my direction.
I'd jump of my horse and pick up the sack before counting the money out loud. "Good decision fella" I'd say as i jumped atop my horse again.
I'd start riding away.
"If we see you round these parts again, you'll be turned to swiz cheese" The miner yelled.
Prompt Two:[/b] As you set up camp for the
night, you come across a Fjorn which is a creature I just made up and
you're totally allowed to do as well. Make up what the creature is and
handle it your way.
The six legged beast would bare its fangs at me. Before crouching down as if it was ready to pounce.
I'd pull my gun out slowly before taking aim right between its five eyes.
The fjorn would let out a menacing growl as it jumped towards me.
After rolling away, barely dodging its menacing claws. I'd try to take aim again.
The fjorn would turn towards me once again.
"Boom" My gun said before the fjorns heavy body slammed agains the sand.
"Not today foul beast" I said before finishing my application.

Alightment? - Chaotic Neutral. "A chaotic neutral character is an individualist who follows their own heart and generally shirks rules and traditions... Combative Abilities? - Simplistic survival capabilities. Vitu'i does not prefer direct-conflict unless absolute necessity.
Non-Combative Abilities? - Skilled alchemist and green-thumb. Mechanical experimenter. Master speech manipulator. Say something wrong, contradict yourself, or lie, and not only will he perfectly recall it, but use it against you.
Flaws? - Due to his slender build, he cannot wield heavy armor or weapons. Gold, Iron Swords, Gold, Iron, and Diamond Armor, and Shields, (unless enchanted by someone else hint* hint*) are too heavy for him for him to use effectively.

The prompts were a little short and not the right format, but you overall display good roleplay skills. Just be mindful on using the correct emote format when on the server. It's easier if we all stay consistent.
That's the spirit! It's exactly what we want from everyone - shaping the world together to make it interesting. Everyone adding a little goes a long way collectively.
What’s the most important rule?: Respect everybody and behave intelligently.
In character:
If not born there, what brings them to the wild lands of Bide?: She had escaped the burning of the village she grew up in and left that area to avoid conflict with those that killed her family, as she had no fighting abilities at the time. Needing a way to fend for herself, she became a travelling merchant to make money to live on. Needing a means to defend herself eventually, she taught herself marksmanship though the use of a bow at first, until she could get her hands on a gun and some ammo. She now finds herself in the wild lands of Bide to ply her trade.
If any, list and explain combative abilities: Prefers to avoid conflict if at all possible but is moderately skilled in the use of archery and firearms if cornered.
If any, list and explain non-combative abilities: She is a natural forager and is skilled at homemaking due to her lifestyle growing up, is a distinguished trader, has a great deal of experience in surviving by herself in the wild, has a decent idea of what is or isn't socially acceptable. The fact that she is in a new land may dampen most of this. That fact won't dampen her naturally high smell, and hearing, nor her skill in animal handling as she has a natural talent for pacifying animals due to her ability to talk to them. She believes this is due to her native language and isn't aware that it's her innate magic that grants her this ability. She IS, aware, however, aware of her magical ability to identify and appraise any item put before her, which is useful to her due to her occupation.

Prompt One: While riding your horse under the unforgiving sun, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance.
*Arthur chucks a rock at the passing bunny.
*Keiko feels a sharp pain in her shoulder, and accidentally pulls on the reins of her mule, Baron, causing him to stop running and buck in disdain, though she manages to keep from falling on him.
Keiko: Shhh, Baron, it's okay. I'm sorry I pulled on you like that, I was just startled.
Arthur: Git outta mah land, varmint! This here's MY mine!
Keiko: Sir, I'm a merchant, not a miner. Even if I wanted what's in that hole, which I DON'T, I don't have the strength or skill to get it for myself anyway.
Arthur: ...merchant, huh? Ya got any food, varmint?
Keiko: Yes, sir.
*Keiko pulls out a quarter-stack of cooked porkchop servings. Each serving is individually packaged to maintain freshness.
Keiko: I'm a herbivore, so I can't eat this. If you like, I can sell it to you for five cents per unit.
Arthur: That's, er... I ain't no good at math, varmint.
Keiko: Oh, sorry. At five cents for one porkchop, it would cost you eighty cents to buy all sixteen porkchops.
Arthur: Oh, eh... I forgot I ain't got no money on me, varmint. I can trade gold for it, though.
Keiko: Oh, that works. I have magic that can determine the value of gold nuggets.
Arthur: Heh! I might just ask ye to come with me to tha bank then when I'm done with this, then!
Keiko: Sure! Here...
*Keiko gives Arthur a slip of paper with her contact information.
Arthur: Ah. Thanks, var... er... Kay-ko? Kee-ko?
Keiko: Keiko, yeah. (the first pronounciation)
Arthur: Oh... aight. Here, how much is this worth?
*Arthur hands Keiko a gold rock, significantly larger than a nugget though still small enough to hold in one hand..
*Keiko holds the gold up and focuses on it, allowing her magic to operate.
Keiko: This is about... wow, this is worth twenty whole dollars!
Arthur: Weird, I've gotten less for chunks that big.
Keiko: Well, a bank would probably offer you less due to having employees to pay.
Arthur: Shifty bastards... well, hey! Can I just sell it to you, then!?
Keiko: Sure! I can't buy all your gold - I only brought a small amount of money on me - but I'm fine buying this one chunk. Do you want the full $20, or do you want that minus the price of the food?
Arthur: ...th-the other'n, yeah.
Keiko: Okay!
*Keiko puts away the gold rock and hands Arthur $19.20 and the quarter-stack of individually packaged cooked porkchop servings.
Arthur: Thank ye kindly.
*Cody sneaks out of the mine, trying not to be noticed by his rival or the bunnygirl trading with him.
*Keiko's rabbit-like ears perk up at the sound of Cody's footsteps echoing off the cavernous walls of the mine. She instantly looks up at him, worry gracing her features.
*Arthur follows Keiko's gaze and sees his lifelong rival walking out of his mine. He then draws his gun and points it at Cody.
Arthur: What are ye doin' in my mine, ye daft git!?
*Keiko pats Baron, encouraging to mule to run out of the crossfire, her cowardice forcing her to leave Arthur and Cody to their conflict.
Prompt Two: As you set up camp for the night, you come across a Fjorn which is a creature I just made up and you're totally allowed to do as well. Make up what the creature is and handle it your way.
*Keiko puts her flint and steel away, and basks in the heat of the campfire she just made, warming her body that had been chilled by the cold mountainous air. Baron, her mule, lies next to her, and she pets his mane calmly.
*Fjorn - A bipedal creature appears in the light created by the campfire, covered in thick white fur as if covered in snow and significantly bigger and thicker than the petite rabbitkin.
*Keiko gets up immediately, looking up at the creature in abject fear.
Keiko: Wh-w-wh-what do you want!?
*Fjorn - The creature ignores the frightened bunnygirl, focusing instead on the campfire. It sits next to the flame and holds its front paws over it, warming them.
*Keiko stares at the creature, but slowly calms down as it isn't trying to kill her and/or eat her. Her eyes flit to Baron, who looks as though he hasn't even noticed the creature, and she calms down considerably, though it's clear she's still on alert.
(time passes)
*Keiko digs into her bags and pulls out a packaged serving of cooked porkchop.
Keiko: Y-you hungry, big guy?
*Fjorn - The creature looks down at Keiko's offering, and slowly takes the package from her. He opens the package with ease and holds it over its head, sliding the meat within out of the package and into its open mouth.
*Keiko backs off, grateful that the creature accepted her offering, but still afraid of it.
*Fjorn - The creature looks satisfied with the meal but refuses to move.
(time passes, and the sun begins to rise)
*Fjorn - as the fire dies out, the creature rises to its feet and wanders off.
*Keiko wakes up, having no idea when she passed out. Seeing that the wooly giant is absent, she rubs Baron's fur until the mule awakens, gives him food, and then starts preparing to ride away. When Baron is awake and on his hooves, Keiko takes a baked potato out of her bag, unwraps it, and eats it. She then gets on Baron's saddle and rides away. The cold campfire is nowhere near any vegetation, so there's no risk of a fire spreading. for that reason, Keiko leaves it alone and rides off.

RP Test:
Accepted!

What’s the most important rule?: To me the most important rule is basically the no metagaming and powergaming rule, along with godmodding. But I guess Common sense and trust works as well.
In character:
If not born there, what brings them to the wild lands of Bide?: To have a new start at life, after all, his past was revolving around constant fear. Skraith is hoping that where he goes next, isn't as scary as the damn lumberjacks.
Backstory (optional): Skraith's tale is a sad one. Skraith was born in a humble nest in a tall, very tall redwood tree. He grew up with joy, and happiness, until one day when he was about 8 years into his life, A group of lumberjacks went and cut down his tree. His family had to evacuate the tree by climbing down it, and had to do it very slowly. They did infact make it down in time before the tree fell, but the lumberjacks saw Skraith and his family escaping deeper into the forest that they killed his family and cooked them up for a feast.
They had kept Skraith hostage for quite some time as they were planning on what to do with him. When he was about 11, Skraith overheard one the men saying that they were also going to cook him up the next day. He knew exactly what he had to do. He had to escape to somewhere far away. So that night when everyone was asleep he opened the cage he was in by using his feet/talons to pick-lock the cage's lock. After he was out of the cage, he slowly got up and took an axe and chopped up the entire lumberjack group.
He then escaped into the forest thinking he would find a better life. But before he left, he took his family's precious bow, it had the magical power of firing fast, for the trade of lower damage. Over the course of 9 years he had found someplace new, the land of Bide. He insists to show kindness to everyone after everything that has happened to him. He may not be a fighter but he is determined to help others out.
If any, list and explain combative abilities: Ranger and sorta can use magic that specializes in water. He usually uses it to help things grow, but if need be, he will try to shoot a pressurized jet of water at his enemy, though it is lacking a lot of strength, most of it mainly can just leave a bruise. His main fighting style is with a bow, and he usually tries to hide in plain sight.
If any, list and explain non-combative abilities: (Lock-picking, well educated in certain kinds of technology/magic, tracking skills. etc): Skraith is someone who likes to grow crops and such, while also using his water magic to well water the plants around him. Another thing Skraith is decent at, is using a forge to create weapons and tools, though he cannot make armor.

Doctor Smith: *He rolls out of the way and grips his injured arm tightly* Watch out!
Cody: *Narrowly dodging the falling rocks, he lights up another stick of dynamite* I’ve been a prospector for years. I know what I’m doing! *shakes his fist angrily at Smith*
Vanessa: The ruins are mine, and this cave will be your tomb *She smirks as her tattooed hands begin to glow azure blue*
Prompt One: While riding your horse under the unforgiving sun, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance.
*Skraith would be passing by the mine, on his horse which he named Sabrina, until a rock goes zipping past the back of his head.
Miner: "What do you think your doing? Trying to steal my crown jewels I bet!"
*Skraith would feel offended at being accused of trying to steal, though he kept a straight face. He would pull out his bow, and just stand there with bravery. Skraith didn't load an arrow at all, he merely stood there before beginning to say something.
Skraith: "You think I'd steal some expensive jewels and then get caught with my novice stealth skills? Nah, I be just passing through, getting to the town ahead... You best be going back into the mine from which you came from. But if you continue throwing rocks at me, well my good 'o' bow Gustow here will be putting an arrow in ye knee..."
*The miner would be taken aback by the threat, but would understand the self-defense coming from the bird.
Miner: "Guess you are right, I should probably stop throwing rocks at everyone who passes by, could get me killed if I don't stop. Well thanks for the advice I guess... Just please don't put an arrow in my knee..."
Skraith: I wouldn't think of putting one in that place, unless I had to... but have a good one comrade."
*The miner would then head back inside the mine after he waved goodbye at the birdfolk.
-End-
Prompt Two: As you set up camp for the night, you come across a Fjorn which is a creature I just made up and you're totally allowed to do as well. Make up what the creature is and handle it your way.
*It was dark outside as Skraith was setting up a campfire and a pot filled with mushroom stew, when he heard a branch break. Looking up from his soon to be meal, he saw nothing but darkness.
*The Fjorn would be circling Skraith's campsite until it froze after it stepped on a branch and broke it. It would think that stealth was out of the hunt it was trying to do.
*Skraith would look around him and see that nothing was there, and then he looked back at his stew. Then he heard a howl which sounded like the squealing of a pig, mixed with the screeching of a cockatiel. When he looked back up he saw the beast... It had a pigs head, with some parrot feathers sticking up at the top of the head. The body was a feathered scaled body, like that of a dinosaur called yutyrannus. The legs were just plain old gazelle hooves. But the thing that made Skraith worry was the tail of the beast. It looked to be that of another person, only thing was that the person was a rotting corpse. As Skraith looked up into deep black sockets of the eyes, he saw the Fjorn's glowing eyes staring threateningly back at him.
Skraith: "Sorry but I am not on the menu for today, please come back later..."
*And with that Skraith ran for his life, leaving his meal for another creature to eat. Though the Fjorn was terrifying, all it wanted was to have some of the mushroom stew that Skraith was making as it was a herbivore, and while it didn't get to make another friend, it got a full course meal...
Hope that is good enough, the Fjorn beast was a rip of a short story creature I made during one of my classes. I did try to be as descriptive with the prompts as I could, but it all comes down to you if I join or not.

RP Test:
When writing, RP as all the characters involved including character emotes and talking. Since you’re roleplaying as all characters, think and act as you would in-game which means there should be no hint of powergaming in your application like automatically hitting someone.
Use this format (this is the format we use on the server):
Edit: Forgot my IGN lol
