Not sure if this is where this type of post goes but since it has to do with servers --- I wasn't sure where else to put it! I'm curious, are there any MODDED minecraft servers out there? Whether it's your own custom modpack or a modpack on Technic or FTB, it doesn't really matter. I've been watching series like One Life and Harmony Hollow and I love the idea of having a group in a world with a bunch of mods, as Vanilla can occasionally get boring. Suggestions? Thoughts? Have a similar server?

i've been testing modded servers lately and they are all very bad. I tested 2 whitelist servers, one with extremely unfriendly players, the other where half the population are operators and can do whatever they want while the other half don't even have /home. Also tested some of those on server lists, and most have too many weird features added by plugins and some have over powered stuff you can buy with money or votes. Not one decent modded server so far.

Modded 1.10.2 is usually very buggy. Even a team as big and experienced as DeVco couldn't avoid bugs, tps drops and initialization stalling on their 1.10.2 servers (while their 1.7.10 ones ran smoothly)
Aye, 1.10.2 is one of the worst ones yet, but if you find the balance of mods and configurations, you can get quite a good result, which is what I believe I have achieved with my latest 1.10.2 update for my Dragon Industries Modpack/server (perks of making your own modpacks). The other good thing (for you), with custom packs being so hard to get new players for, the lack of people makes it really hard to create lag from over stressing the server.

That sounds right. But what did you mean by saying the pack is highly customized in its forum thread? Does the server have a lot of new things to learn that have nothing to do with none of the mods? Like complicated plugins, etc?
It mostly means that the recipes and progression is customised, I've created 1000's of lines of CraftTweaker scripts. I took my inspiration from Project Ozone 2. I do plan to add more custom content via plugins, however with Sponge being so new, little is available and I can not make much more progress with my current plugin projects without upgrading my PC (I'm broke). I'm also always taking suggestions for my modpacks/ servers, we're very community based, so my players opinions really matter.
Message me on Skype: Dominik Mcabee I have my own server and im looking for people since i dont really have anyone and im willing to find more mature people
