What’s the most important rule?: Respect everyone and behave intelligently.
In Character:
Why are they coming to Akavail and its portion of Bide (if not born there)?/What do they hope to do?:
Meriwether “Mary” Honorous was born in a small island nation that has since been destroyed in various storms and battles, and has never been recognized enough to have any official name. Raised the ******* son of a single sailor, and spending a lot of time with the other men in his father’s crew as well, he grew up learning to do the only thing he knew and the only thing people around him could teach, which was sailing. Going with his father on short contract trips to carry supplies and passengers, he slowly learned how to man the ship over the years, and as he approached manhood he was quite comfortable at the helm of the ship himself. At the age of eighteen, as every young man is wont to do, he left his childhood home on the island in an old little sloop of but eight guns and a crew of only a few in order to find whatever would cross his path.
As the years passed, the sailors visited many different countries and continents, living in each for a short while. Crew members came and left as Mary began to do contract work to transport products and passengers as his father did, making money enough to keep him going. As his money slowly accumulated, he eventually was lucky enough to find a nobleman who was upon hard times and was auctioning his ship off quite cheap, acquiring the larger, ten-gun ship for some gold, some sugar a grateful merchant gave to him, and his old ship so the nobleman could continue sailing recreationally with his companions. Upon setting sail in the ship, he quickly learned that the ship had been a stolen one, as naval ships quickly gained pursuit. Feeling as though turning the ship over would be cheating him out of his purchase, he evaded naval vessels and, feeling forced into the life but afterward remarking he wouldn’t resent it for long, began his career as a pirate.
Starting with small thefts and infractions, “Captain Mary” became a lesser-known pirate in the eastern waters, blowing the sails off of docked naval ships and looting small groups of poor merchants attempting to join the sugar trade that was popular in the area. Approaching the age of twenty-four now, Mary’s crew and infamy grew slowly, his name recognition growing quite quickly after one particular event. Teaming up with a more powerful pirate in the area, Mary helped to loot a larger merchant ship, the Expedition, which had fourteen gun ports, all emptied to make room for cargo. The arrangement was that Mary would get the majority of the cargo, and that the other pirate would gain the ship to add to his fleet. However, in the more powerful pirate having only a portion of his crew and one ship with him, Mary managed to trick him, destroying his ship and leaving the enemy pirates in the ocean while his own crew took off with the Expedition as well as the cargo.
Over the next two years or so, Captain Mary sailed down South, away from the eastern waters he’d grown a reputation in, and began making his money there. He found a particular stretch of sea in which the surrounding countries must not have been too bright, and found it exceedingly easy to capture and plunder ships in these waters. Growing a reputation in this region as well, under multiple insulting and fear-striking names in the various native languages of the continent, Mary maintained quite a large crew and a second ship for a while before relinquishing the second ship and its crew to his lieutenant on good terms. The lieutenant and his crew were arrested and executed for piracy a fortnight later, with Mary already far out of range in the Expedition.
Hearing rumor of a large, lightly manned thirty-gun cargo ship destined to stop somewhere in the islands off the coast of the nearby continent Akavail, Captain Mary quickly set the bow of his ship in that direction, seeking after the ship to claim it and its cargo as his own. He reached the waters in under two months, around when the ship was supposed to arrive, and saw his goal, hastily and brashly assaulting it. However, he was not expecting the supposedly “lightly manned” - absolute hogwash - ship to have a naval escort. The battle was quick, and ended with the destruction of the Expedition and most of its crew. He was knocked out as a lead shot from a naval ship hit the deck beside him, and he fell into the ocean, escaping detection by the navy and being picked up by a group of kindhearted merchants who were on their way to the area around Bide. So, as you can see, he didn’t exactly mean to end up in the city of Bide, but that is how the circumstances happened to play out.
If any, list and explain all combative abilities:
Mary is reasonably proficient in swordsmanship and in dealing with guns, skilled enough to fight or kill people but not enough to take on too many people by himself or do anything extraordinary. His aim with his gun is quite decent, however it’s far from perfect. These skills should be expected from his career as a pirate, as close-range and long-distance combat are both essential when fending off authorities.
If any, list and explain all non-combative abilities: (Lock-picking, well educated in certain kinds of technology/magic, tracking skills. etc):
As a pirate, and the captain of a crew at that, Mary is able to strategize fairly well in most scenarios, and can pilot and navigate a ship effectively.

Mary has no supernatural or superhuman qualities about him.
RP Test:
-Out in the wild, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance. Diffuse the situation, and take it from there.
MINER: *He throws a couple of stones in Meriwether’s direction.* Oi! This is my mine! Stay away, y’hear! *The miner would continue to pick up rocks and hurl them at Meriwether.*
MERIWETHER: *He winces at the rocks being thrown as they cut the skin on his arms, but finds them easy to evade after he’s expecting them.* Hey, I’m just getting on my way! Calm down! *As another rock hits him, he sees a figure emerging from the cave.* Oi, could you give me a bit of help, lad?
MAN: *He comes out from the cave, going to grab the miner and whip him around to face him.*
MINER: *The miner, being caught by surprise, is easily turned around by the man.* What d’ya want, ye l’il rat? *He spits in the man’s face, bringing his boot down on the man’s foot.*
MAN: *The man snarls as the miner’s dirty saliva sprays on his cheek, wincing a bit as the miner crushes his foot. Enraged, he throws a fist around the miner’s head.*
MINER: *The miner is hit by the fist, being knocked out quite easily by the larger and stronger man.*
MERIWETHER: *He approaches the man.* Hey, what’s your problem? You tryin’ to kill the man?
MAN: He was the one throwin’ rocks and spittin’ in faces. I was only complyin’ with your request for help. *He spits in disrespect as the miner had, but directs his at the ground rather than in Meriwether’s face.* Now beat it.
MERIWETHER: Aye, he was bein’ a fool, but no cause to use too much needless violence, eh?
MAN: *He goes to shove Meriwether.* I said beat it, you rat!
MERIWETHER: *Mary stumbles back a few steps, before going to shove the man back, harder.* And I’m tellin’ you to calm down!
MAN: *He easily keeps his footing despite being shoved, being the wider man. With Meriwether right within range, he sends his elbow toward the man’s head.*
MERIWETHER: *Mary pushes against the man’s center in order to evade the blow.*
MAN: *The man is sent stumbling back a few paces before he falls on his behind.* What’s wrong with ye? *He snarls and begins standing up slowly.*
MERIWETHER: *Mary quickly runs off toward the trees, attempting to lose the man before he can stand.*
MAN: *He stands up fully, then shrugs and spits on the ground again.* Damn rats. He ought never t’ come back.

CROWD CHATTER: Is that thug Graycoat? / What’s he want with the reporter? / Isn’t the paper a little poor right now? / How much money could the reporter have that someone like Graycoat would want?
GRAYCOAT: *He shoves crowd members aside as he approaches the reporter, Charles Jameson, shouting.* I’ll say it again, Jameson! Hand over the money!
JAMESON: *The reporter adjusts his necktie nervously.* I-I’m not sure what you’re getting at, M-Mister Graycoat.
GRAYCOAT: Don’t play games with me, maggot!
MERIWETHER: *Mary frowns, trying to take in what’s happening.*
GRAYCOAT: *He pulls a gun from his coat, pointing it at Jameson. The crowd scurries away.* I won’t ask you again, boy! Hand over what you promised or I’ve got a bullet with your name on it!
JAMESON: *He stumbles back a bit.* I…
MERIWETHER: *He approaches to the side of the two men.* Oi, what’s the problem?
GRAYCOAT: *The thug pulls the brim of his hat down lower, shading his eyes in the evening darkness. He keeps his gun trained on Jameson.* Get outta here, worm. I ain’t got time to be dealin’ with a fool like you.
MERIWETHER: *He pulls out his own gun, pointing it at Graycoat.* I want an explanation. I’m not one to let something like this go ignored.
JAMESON: Sir, please, you don’t have to…
GRAYCOAT: *He growls at Jameson.* Quiet, you! *The thug looks at Mary, then at his gun, studying him.* Y’think you can get away with standin’ up to Graycoat?
MERIWETHER: I think my gun gives me just as many bullets as Graycoat’s.
GRAYCOAT: *He is quiet for a few moments before he speaks.* Crowd’s gone, guess there’s no harm in tellin’ some punk.
JAMESON: Please don’t tell, Mr. Graycoat! You promised you wouldn’t tell!
GRAYCOAT: For gods’ sakes, you tell ‘im then!
JAMESON: *He flinches at Graycoat’s tone before turning to Meriwether.* I-I spied on some people to get a story … Graycoat found out, so I promised I would make payments to him to keep quiet…
GRAYCOAT: And now he’s backin’ out on his word, the little maggot!
MERIWETHER: Aren’t you already pretty well-off from all your other deals and crimes? Why do you need this money from Jameson?
GRAYCOAT: *He sighs, before lowering his gun a bit.* My niece is really sick. She needs this money, or else I wouldn’t be doin’ all these tricks to get money. The only doctor who knows how to treat ‘er is downtown and he’s all expensive. *The thug tightens his grip on his gun, pointing it at Jameson again.* And this maggot is tryin’ to skimp out on me!
JAMESON: I-I didn’t know about that … I’m so sorry, sir … But th-the paper’s not doing very well, and I didn’t get payed as much as I should have.
MERIWETHER: *Mary pulls out some money, dropping it on the ground and kicking it toward Graycoat, keeping his gun in his hand in case the thug tries to pull something.* That should cover whatever Jameson can’t pay.
JAMESON: Th-Thank you, sir!
GRAYCOAT: *He scowls, then holsters his gun and goes down to pick up the money.*
JAMESON: *He scurries off.*
MERIWETHER: *Mary puts his own gun away, leaving the scene to find something else to occupy his time with.*

You didn't do the first half of the application and the rp scenarios are way too short

Try to show more action and emotion in your rp.
Maybe expand and use more complex words or specific areas like *The thug recoils his fist farther than his back and attempts to punch (Your name)*
Or
Reporter: *Her cheeks turn to a bright red, mix emotions of embarrassment and anger is plastered on her face.* I don't require your protection no more! I-I have this under control, How did you find me anyways!?
The first half is going into detail of your character and generally why they are going to the land of Bide.
Do both Rp scenarios have to involve confrontation? You're not really giving us a wide range to work with.
You must use the part of the scenario that is told, if it shows a protective miner throwing rocks at ya, you must use that part at the beginning. Remember these people are real and anything can happen at any time. Hence you must diffuse that confrontation. Being passive or aggressive is up to you.
That's true, the rp scenarios only prompt you to interact with them in some capacity but whether that is through violence or not is up to the person. Similarly the characters don't have to be helpful
What’s the most important rule?: Respect others and behave intelligently
In Character:
Why are they coming to Akavail and its portion of Bide (if not born there)?/What do they hope to do?: Maylanth wants to become an alchemist and sell his medicines and magic to citizens and soldiers. He was born just outside of Akavail, in one of the safe towns that dot the landscape sparingly. However, his parents made him hide his magic, but he felt that it was a part of him, so he left once he turned 18.
If any, list and explain all combative abilities: Maylanth was born with the strange ability to manipulate life essence. He can quickly cause them to grow and attack his enemies. At the expense of a hefty chunk of energy, he can even create temporary living life golems to attack his enemies. He prefers to channel his power through the various seeds he always keeps on his person.
If any, list and explain all non-combative abilities: (Lock-picking, well educated in certain kinds of technology/magic, tracking skills. etc): He uses his magic to speed up the growth rate of his various plants and flowers, and he is skilled at mixing and cooking them into potions and portable spells he calls 'portans'.

He has a resistance to most poisons and can manipulate the life essence of plants and even people, should he use enough energy. However, he cannot kill someone by simply manipulating their life essence, and when casting the majority of his spells he cannot move, leaving his body defenceless against direct attacks. He also takes more damage from water magic.

You may notice that the rules and general structure of the server offers a lot of freedom to the players. This can be easily abused so we’re looking for a tight knit community of players that we can trust. Please respond to these two RP situations IC. We are looking for at least a large paragraph, preferably two, for each situation. We want to gauge your RP, storytelling, and grammar abilities and decide from there. We’re seeing if you’ll be creative and intelligent enough to handle the low restrictions RP and adapt to the ever changing stories you’ll come across.
When writing, RP as all the characters involved including character emotes and talking. Since you’re RP’ing as all characters think and act as you would in-game which means there should be no hint of powergaming in your application like having outlandish powers or automatically hitting someone.
Use this format (this is the format we use on the server):
Me: *rolls out of the way* Watch out!
Woman: You’re not supposed to be here *shakes her fist angrily*
Thug: *attempts to grab the inventor’s coat* Listen punk!
-Out in the wild, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance. Diffuse the situation, and take it from there.

Miner: Eh? Your tryin' ta run, huh? Well I ain't lettin' ya -

Miner: Lemme go, ya 'ooligan!
*His shouts of anger fade into the distance*
Me: *Catching up to the boy* I'll get you out once, but if you've been stealing from someone again next time I wont be so lenient.
Boy: Oh, thank you sir!
Me: No problem! *A seed flicks through the air into the boys pocket*
Boy: What was - *The seed blooms into a vine that wraps around the boy's legs, tripping him before wrapping around the gold nugget in his pocket, and slithering back to the cave*
Me: Like I said - no more stealing! *He grins and walks away, listening to the shouts behind him*
-A player who is RP’ing as a newspaper reporter is questioning a crowd about the recent monster attack in the area. Another player who plays a notorious street thug starts harassing the reporter for money. Interact with them.

Due to my work having unfortunate timing regarding this server as well as personal reasons, I have decided to look elsewhere for rping. I might come back to the server in the future when I'm in a more agreeable circumstance. Though from the several times I was able to rp here, I had a great time. Bumping for you guys :3.

Appreciate the effort but we're not interested in appealing the ban
I've only been banned once. And it's been quite a long time. I'd like to try and appeal. I do deserve at least a chance to appeal it after all. Since this was only my first ban here. Can't you let me at least attempt to try?
I'd really appreciate being given the light of day. I would like to join and play on the server. And u won't start things. I just want a good RP server about fantasy to RP on again, and you know what, you guys are the only one still alive.
Id love to be able to appeal. And no be ignored. Please. Just tell me what I'd have to do to appeal. Other people get chances, can't I get one as well? I'm speaking honestly and sincerely here.
It's not ignoring because you were already given a direct statement on our stance regarding your appeal. The fact of the matter is too many people on here are still uncomfortable with the idea of having you around. It's not worth trying to convince all those people. We appreciate the acknowledgement of our server but there isn't a place for you here anymore.

If any, list and explain all non-combative abilities: (Lock-picking, well educated in certain kinds of technology/magic, tracking skills. etc): she is a nanobot robot. meaning she can change her form. she doesnt use it often because it tightens some people. her creator was a scientist hoping to make a perfect machine. however he died after creating her from old age and now she simply wanders the world looking for purpose. she is great at sorting and building.

-A player who is RP’ing as a newspaper reporter is questioning a crowd about the recent monster attack in the area. Another player who plays a notorious street thug starts harassing the reporter for money. Interact with them.

Do both Rp scenarios have to involve confrontation? You're not really giving us a wide range to work with.
Hope I helped ya.
Similarly the characters don't have to be helpful
magicsuperman664. You may want to change that most important rule. Half of it is correct.

Due to my work having unfortunate timing regarding this server as well as personal reasons, I have decided to look elsewhere for rping. I might come back to the server in the future when I'm in a more agreeable circumstance. Though from the several times I was able to rp here, I had a great time. Bumping for you guys :3.
Time for Christmas decorations and event preparations.

What’s the most important rule?: "Most importantly respect everyone and behave intelligently"
--In Character--
Why are they coming to Akavail and its portion of Bide (if not born there)?/What do they hope to do?: "You ask me, Bo, Gypsy lost and tormented, why am going to live in this bountiful city, full of stone, history, ....women.... and possibilities? Well, because it is quite fine! And am hearing that this lovely city is welcoming of my kind as well!" Bo would lean in to the guard who is interviewing him to be allowed into the town. "In case you don't know, i'm a lycan...." He leans back petting at his ears and tail a bit.
"Ah? You wondering why Bo has his tail and ears? Tragic really, well if it didn't make me so unfathomable attractive to the flowers awaiting me. Well, was born in small caravan, Lycan one. Da Da... Born Lycan Bo was. The Caravan mistreated me, Was the youngest of the pack. Potions and such were thrown at me, whenever Did something wrong. Guess one of those potions weren't the best to throw at a pubescent Lycan, as the handsome Bo kept his ears and rail intact outside of his animal form!" He proceeded to flip his hair and smirk, sharp toothed and all.
"What does Bo plan to do here? Ah, well, open a tea and springs of course! that is, if the town has a place for me to do so, we shall see!" After this, the guard asks generic questions, as he proceeds to answer. "26, male, Single....and mingling... Skills? tea making, generic potion brewing, hand to hand combat and archery...." the review rambles on slowly..........
--If any, list and explain all combative abilities--
Hand to Hand combat: He can work with his hands and feet, he may look frail or not strongly built under clothes, but he actually is built very well. so when he swings a hit, it will surely hurt if it hits you.
Archery: He was trained to hunt not just in his animal form, so this means he knows how to shoot a arrow easily.
Animal form: Obviously, as he is a Lycan, he has a animal form. his is a large pure black lion. Of course this form is very strong, heavy enough to try and crush bones, as it's a bit larger then a normal lion, but not by much.
--If any, list and explain all non-combative abilities: (Lock-picking, well educated in certain kinds of technology/magic, tracking skills. etc)--
Tea making: He can make some divine tea for sure. Tea that is safe for all Lycans actually, since they have specific allergies.
Simple potion brewing: He can't make many powerful ones, but simple wound healing potions, a invisibility potion, mostly anything that needs not so rare ingredients.
If he wanted, he could have a knack for magic: If he wasn't so lazy, or up his ass, he might actually be decent at magic, he just never tries to learn.
Imagine all the things that can hurt/kill a standard human. Is there anything that your character is immune (or reduced effect) to that would normally affect a human? If so, to balance, what sort situation(s) could hurt/kill your character that normally wouldn't hurt a standard human? (Note: the kryptonite weakness, i.e, a situation/item that is rare or normally not on a person or found in the surrounding area even if it completely nullifies you is not balanced enough.) : What injures him? everything can. He is a complete ass with a sword or anything other then a bow or hands, so he will fail there. He has a uncanny fear of poison, or someone throwing things at him. Especially people larger then him. And anything can hurt him. just like anyone else, everyone has a moment of non perfection. a dagger will stab. and a sword will cut. About the only thing he has is a low sense of feeling for damage in his animal form, which come to find out isn't good, as you get more injured then you think like that.
--RP Test--
You may notice that the rules and general structure of the server offers a lot of freedom to the players.
-Out in the wild, you come across an overly protective miner camping outside a cave entrance. He starts throwing rocks at you, barking at you to leave. At this instance, a person can be faintly seen coming out of the cave entrance. Diffuse the situation, and take it from there:
Me: *flinches from the stones a bit, tail furling up tightly, as he fights his fear* Sir? Is something wrong?
Miner: Get away ye' fackin' alf' beast! *he says before storming to the woman leaving the cave, begining to yell at her* Ye' unworthy useless wife! ye' takin' some o' dat' ore fer' our fackin' unfavorable maggots fer' children! *raises his hand to hit the woman*
Me: *paces over and grabs the miners arm tightly* Lovely Madam, please, find some guards? will tie this man up. *he smiles at the woman as she runs away*
Miner: *is yelling all sorts of vulgarities, as he tries to get loose from the grip, before being tied up, and hooked to a rock* Why ye' lil'-
Me: Don't you know, good sir, that hitting a fine lady such as that, is surely a crime? Such a shame.
-A player who is RP’ing as a newspaper reporter is questioning a crowd about the recent monster attack in the area. Another player who plays a notorious street thug starts harassing the reporter for money. Interact with them:
Thug: *yelling at the crowd, as it backs away, he pins the newswoman in a corner* Now, you better give me the money or else I might take something you don't want taken.
Woman: N-No, please, I need this money.....!
Thug: tough for you isn't it? lest you'd like the other option?
Me; *Wanders down the road to the main town center seeing the commotion* Where are the guards at a time like this, goodness...! *he says as he walks over to the brute*
Thug: *is tapped on the shoulder* Wha?
Me: I suggest you leave the scared flower alone, or money won't be the only thing you will be lacking my sir. *he smiles calmly.* You may just lose your dignity.
thug; Why I oughtta!! *lunges at Bo*
Me: *dodges, swifter then his slower thuggish moments, and kicks the insides of his knee's, before slamming if down on his back as he falls, keeping him face first into the ground, knocking him unconscious* There we are lovely lady, you are free of this brute.(Of course with a actual player you don't use closed actions, you use open actions)
So, since there isn't a way to appeal at all, I assume making a app, or something, is a way to appeal a ban?
I'm speaking honestly and sincerely here.
please don't ignore me.
thanks.

What’s the most important rule?: Give everyone respect and don't be dumb
In Character:
Why are they coming to Akavail and its portion of Bide (if not born there)?/What do they hope to do?: Chayce plans on coming to Akavail for job opportunity. sh needs money and something to do with her life
If any, list and explain all combative abilities: She is a great archer and is good with an axe. she also knows a little bit of althetics such as jumping and running but nothing too extreme
Imagine all the things that can hurt/kill a standard human. Is there anything that your character is immune (or reduced effect) to that would normally affect a human? If so, to balance, what sort situation(s) could hurt/kill your character that normally wouldn't hurt a standard human? (Note: the kryptonite weakness, i.e, a situation/item that is rare or normally not on a person or found in the surrounding area even if it completely nullifies you is not balanced enough.) she cannot handle lava and even though she heals quickly, a enough consecutive blows can and will kill her. a basic blunt hit won't hurt her though. for example, a simple punch does no damage. piercing damage however will.
