Have you read and agreed to both the rules and the lore of the server?: Yessir.
What is the definition of “Powergaming”?: Powergaming is when you blatantly attempt to control Roleplay to your advantage. This can range from granting your character invulnerability to win fights (i.e: Oliver takes three arrows to the back but can still charge his opponent) or controlling the actions of other players in RP (i.e: *Collier swings at Oliver* *Oliver dodges and stabs him*)
What is the definition of “Metagaming”?: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge to your advantage in RP. An example would be using information stated in Skype to locate a character in-game or know something your character wouldn’t personally know.
What is the definition of “Roleplay”?: Acting out or performing a particular role. You the player are taking on the personality of a character with all their flaws, strengths and quirks. You do not act as yourself but rather as your character would act in situations.
Who can use flymod, X-ray and other such clientsided mods?: No one.
When are you allowed to cause the death of another character?: With their consent in RP.
When are you allowed to speak out of character?: OOC channel or in Brackets (( )).
Do you have any previous RP experience, Minecraft or elsewhere? (Optional): I’ve moderated/played on Anerian Chronicles and multiple RP servers.
Character Information
Name: Kristjan “Renard” Stjornu
Age: 38
Race: Halfman
Physical description: Kristjan is tall (for a halfman) 5 foot, one inch dwarf with chestnut hair and green eyes. He has a muscular build from his days working the forge.
Screen capture of your skin (I recommend uploading to imgur and posting link here): (Tsev is working on a skin request, in the meantime, here is my placeholder skin)
Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):
Kristjan Renard Stjornu is a member of Clan Stjornu, a wealthy Halfman Smith family from Drunn. His father ran a sizable forge in Drunn’s capital and frequently worked on contracts for the Drunnian military. However, unbeknownst to Kristjan and his mother, his father was deep in debt to one of the large banks due to a gambling and drinking addiction. This debt eventually caught up to the Stjornu family and their forge was seized. Kristjan refused to allow his family to fall on hard times and he began his search for other options of employment.
Unfortunately for Kristjan, the only sponsor he could find was Hakon Ingason, a notorious criminal underworld lord that operated within the capital. As one of Hakon’s smiths, Kristjan received very little in terms of compensation for his work and his weapons and armor were either used by criminals or sold for dirt cheap on the black market. Kristjan refused to let his family’s name be dragged into the dust by the actions of his father and from the wage-slavery of Ingason. He planned to make a get-away from Drunn that would take down Ingason on the way out. He loaded the forge with gunpowder, packed a sack of food, tools and schematics, and set off leaving behind a booby-trapped forge for Ingason’s men. By the time Hakon heard the forge has exploded and figured out it was Kristjan’s doing, Kristjan was on the surface.
In the years between his arrival in Enris and his departure from Drunn, Kristjan worked several odd jobs as a freelance smith for hire. He worked in various forges where he learned human smithing techniques in addition to his dwarven ones and he picked up some street smarts. The majority of his time was spent in the company of the traveling Merchant Bernard of Longshore. Bernard taught Kristjan many aspects of being a merchant and a store-owner in addition to teaching Kristjan about life in Norland and Enris. The two became close friends and as a result, Kristjan adopted the name “Renard” as a more human sounding name for when he’d operate in human settlements. Bernard and Renard traveled all throughout Norland but eventually “Renard” decided it was time to split off and make his fortune in Enris. Bernard suggested that there was a dire need of skilled tradesmen in the land, despite some nonsensical rumors about some kind of plague or curse that he brushed aside. Whether there was a curse or not, there was an opportunity for Renard to make his fortune.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To become a renowned blacksmith and establish a great forge.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): Renard/Kristjan is a remarkably hard-worker. He can spend hours honing his craft and being productive. From his work in the forge, Renard has gained great physical strength that enables him to stand his own in a fight.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): While Renard is intelligent, strong and hardworking, he easily succumbs to narrow-mindedness and anti-social behaviors. Renard frequently will put his goals and needs ahead of others and will neglect those around him in favor of his pursuits. This makes it difficult for him to socialize and earn people’s trust. Likewise, he can come off as brash and short-sighted which can be his strategic downfall.
What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish): Renard lives for his craft. His efforts and power are placed entirely into it and he spends every hour he can at it. He’s by no means a social man that is capable of gaining mass approval, but he is capable of making his contribution to society through his accomplishments. He values achievement and while he is judgmental, he sees the big picture and strives towards it, whether or not that means there will be people he steps on in the way to it.
Valice is a rather tall Drow, standing at around 5'7. Unlike most of his brethren he is more athletically built rather than stocky and slow. He has pointy, stylized black hair that reaches over his right eye just slightly. For facial features he has a rather pointed chin with deep olive eyes and long spiky ears that poke up just over his hat. His skin is a dark grey colour with a couple of white marks located on his upper body. He often has a wry protruding smile that peeks up just above his cloak, giving him an oddly innocent look to him. As for clothing, he wears rather concealing wear including a long opened green cloak that reaches just above his face, concealing everything below his nose. On top of his head he he has a slanted back mage hat and though not seen, the hat covers a deep scar on his forehead effectively.
Valice wasn't always the way he was, as a matter of fact it was not so long ago since he was last normal. He had a kind heart, unusual for a drow, a warm smile and longing eyes that were always looking forward. People had a hard time hating him despite his race. However, we should probably start from the beginning.
Valice was born and raised in the Ziggurats, raised by two neglective parents. From a young age he showed differences from the rest of his race, often opposing the blood rituals quietly and often telling himself to leave the next chance he had. Though no one found out his deep secrets, he was often alienated for his unusual personality and morale standards. At the age of 17 Valice escaped to the world above, doing his best to look not of the monster he was, wearing appealing clothing and any jewellery and accessories that would make him more approachable. Having an obsession with the supernatural, he became incredibly superstitious, working his life as an enigmatic fortune teller. Though many people feared him, his warm personality and ability to be kind hearted won over many people. As time went on the more he settled in, meeting a young human girl who had fallen in love with him. Valice was a joyous man, always smiling and cracking jokes, though he was almost forced to live a secluded life, his girlfriend, whom he stayed with was more than enough company. When not at home, however, he was often bargaining in the market, trying to rip off store owners constantly.
Everything was going well until one night, when Valice was going for a walk he was attacked. Forced to run away, he slipped and tumbled down a hill, thwarting his assailants, but losing something else in the process. His memory. Found by an older woman, he was nursed back to health, but the twenty two year old could recall nothing except for a few obscurities. Though, the fall had effected his personality, transforming him into a new man. No longer was he kind and composed, that was replaced with an eccentric and absent minded personality that liked to cause trouble and crack jokes. The woman he loved never saw him again and deep down, that depressed Valice, though he could never pin-point the exact reason. Conflicted with his identity, he dawned concealing clothing and returned to his work as a mysterious fortune teller, but doing merchant business on the side.

What is your character's personality?:
Valice is best described as extremely warped. He loves a good joke and enjoys playing tricks on unsuspecting people. While he can sometimes act like a jerk, there's still a part of him that is kind and considerate, even if it may come out rarely. Valice is also incredibly cheap and obsessed with gold and money. Character Information
Name: Rylza Aserviți
Age: 57
Race: Elf
Physical description: Looking at the thin and lengthy Girl, it is clear that something is not quite right. Although she moves silently and with a machine like grace, there is a sense of Calm urgency about her, and around her, the constant feeling that no matter what, she is not comfortable pervades. Her short brown hair, erect frame and piercing green eyes gives off a aura of superiority and elitism while her simple clothing, which consists of a short top that clings to her frame and a pair of billowing trousers and sandals reveals her as poor and simply dressed. But most mysterious of all, are the things she lacks or obscures. Her face, or rather, the lack of one, is the true focal point of her appearance. Hidden behind a simple and blank white mask, it is rare for anyone to see her thin and sharp features, that look as if there has been some horrible tragedy forever going on before her. Indeed, it is a chilling affair to look on her directly, for her face betrays her absolute horror. But once you move pass that, there is more to be found that only completes her disconcerting look. Her body is stiff and rigid, with taunt muscles with years of practice and exercise, and her precise and quick movements make her somewhat a blur to look at when in action, and her skin, a slightly palish tan, gives another factor to her specter like facade. One final, cryptic clue about her, is the large silver urn tightly fastened to her belt. It is sealed shut, and can only be unlocked by a special key hanging from Rylza's neck.
Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):
In the crystalline and beautiful spires of the kingdom of Arturan, the Eleven kind lives a methodical yet rewarding life, for each elf knows its place and its duty, and acts on those duties with all abilities available to them. But there are few families or Individuals that hold such pride in their family line or work as the Aserveti do. Long ago, in ancient times before the beginning of their great nation, the ancestors that would go on to found the Aserveti dynasty were saved from a brutal scourge attack by the ones who would latter go on to form the Umeastrum clan. Forever in their debt, the Aserveti clan formed a eternity pact with the Umeastrum, who had saved them from utter destruction: For all generations to come, the Aserveti line was to serve the Umeastrum, and by extension the kingdom of Aserveti, with absolute and utter loyalty no matter what comes. And such it was so, for every generation to come after, for such a promise could not be broken so easily or so lightly. Obeying their masters for every generation, no matter how long or extended, and without question, was seen as the highest honor ever capable of being bestowed upon the Aserveti family, and as the nation of Arturan came to creation, the Aserveti dynasty was honored and revered for their effortless subservience and constant degree of excellence. Other Elves would often bring up the Aserveti family as a example and paragon of their ability to obey and do as told, and due to the system of absolute dictatorship that is the Kingdom of Arturan, the Aserveti family fit perfectly in. But of course, all good things must come to a end.
Born as the third and final child in her large family of now five, Rylza was expected to be one of the greater of the Aserveti name. Her parents, Loal and Rukeb Aserveti were both quite proud of their daughters quite and astute nature. Constantly listening and ever so silent, she was to be fine a hand maiden to the Umeastrum's newest Heir, Relina Umeastrum. Already, she was infatuated with her family's lineage and grand history of servitude, and she was instilled with utter and absolute obedience to the main house's line. But as she grew older, it soon became apparent that while in mentality she was perfect, her physical ability was in quite the question: Shuttering, unstable and prone to accidents, Rylza did not feel accustomed to her body, and she did not carry herself with the grace needed to be a servant to the greater lineage. But, to her parents, this was a simple matter of training. And so training Rylza did. Day after intense day of holding trays, balancing books, cleaning the dorm house from top to bottom, carrying the groceries, standing still on hours upon hours, walking across beams and pillars while carrying dinner on a platinum trays and other such excruciating tasks were all daily matters of business, so as to help Rylza hone her serving skills to a more...Acceptable degree. Indeed, Rylza took on these tasks with a insane amount of patience and want, performing each tasks to the best of her ability. And as she worked, her improvement only encouraged her to try harder and harder to perfect herself, so as to appease her family. In fact, Rylza would work and push herself harder and harder to the point of incredible in-exhaustion in her efforts to perfect her technique. All of this hard work matched Rylza's own personal dedication to the very idea of the Aserveti family, the idea of Arturan, the Idea of the Superior and subservient, and even the very idea of Elfdom. So dedicated to these ideals and truths, Rylza would never ever dare consider going against her attendee or her kind. But slowly, as she learned and practiced under her parents, Rylza grew to do more than simply idolize Arturan culture. Creeping in, but also secretly encouraged by her parents, Rylza began to look down on the other peoples of the world. The filthy savages, the ungrateful humans, the pathetic Half-lings, and the despicable Drow. All of them we're barely any better than each other, and they're indignities to Elf-kind we'er almost intolerable. It boggled her mind that the glorious kingdom of Arturan and the Elves that lived within it would willingly submit to be part of a human kingdom. Another thing that reached the pique of her curiosity was the fact that some Elves would turn away from the obvious paradise that was Arturan. But knowing her place well enough, Rylza continued to focus her efforts entirely on her work and studies with all the effort she could muster.
But soon, that would all change as her many years of tutelage came to a close. Drawing near was the twentieth birthday of her mistress, and Rylza was to appear before her that night. It would be Rylza's final test, and it would make or break her years of training and studying. Rylza herself was a mixture of anxiety and excitement. Finally, she thought to herself, she would be able to join her family in glorious servitude and find her place among the society she so greatly valued. And to raise the stakes, not only would she be presenting herself to her mistress, a lady of rising and considerable power, she would also technically, be under the highest rulers of the Elven world, as a large festival was also being held. Here, the Superior would even make his presence known. To Rylza, there was no other chance, and there was no room for error. Everything had to be perfect. And when that night came, it seemed to be going that way. Rylza performed incredibly well, and it looked as if everything would go according to plan. Of course, all it took to ruin it was one mistake.
Rylza dodged through the crowds of merry festival goers as she made her way across the grounds. It was simple, really: each person was simply a obstacle, and nothing more. Occasionally those obstacles also had to be given a new goblet of wine or a new food eat, but for now, Rylza was concered with much bigger things. Twirling around a couple and portly gentlemen, she danced through the archway into the main hall. It would soon be time for the Ceremonial gift bestowing, where she would have the honor of both bringing her mistress her presents, but also presenting herself. Finally reaching the main hall, she quickly took her place aside her parents. For any one else, sweat would be pouring down their face, for the art of serving was a odious one and took much strength to do correctly. But to Rylza, it was second nature. And from the moment she was called, she was ready. Quickly bowing on her knee, arms and hands pointed a perfect ninety degree angle, left hand open, right hand gently closed, she prepared to recite her vows. "I, Rylza Aserveti, daughter of Loal and Rukeb Aserveti, hereby pledge myself and all my power to the fair Lady Relina Umeastrum and her cause. I also pledge my allegiance to the great nation of Arturan, and therefore the Superior. I also promise to bring no shame or no harm to the fair family of the Umeastrum. Under this promise, If I do ever break it, I Will never show my face again." perfectly recited, she thought to herself. With a slight nod, her mistress gave her approval. Quickly, she turned and began to deliver each present to her mistress, taking a single one from the enormous pile one at a time. Some of them, like the antique china sets and silver dining utensils, we're quite heavy, and some one would say that we're beyond the capacity of a girl as young as Rylza abilities. But carry them she did, with utter poise and grace, earned from her years of practice. Truly, to a lesser people, it would be considered art. But, as the night continued, it was clear that even Rylza was getting worn out. It was only when she finally neared the end did things begin to spiral out of her control. As she walked back, she had unknowingly left a ruffle in the carpet, barely noticeable in the deep and wooly carpet. This would not be so tragic however, if it were not for the final gift. A magnificent, and spectacular Glass statue of the elven goddess Saviesa. Perhaps if Rylza had swallowed her pride and beckoned for help, or perhaps left the statue there, her path might have turned out differently. But as she felt her front foot slip, and felt the weight shift in her hands, only absolute and utter despair would control her as she and the entire world watched as the statue came falling down. She had missteped in front of not herself, but to her lady, her family, and to Rylza, the very Superior himself.
Sixty five stitches. Three fractured bones. Forty glass shards that were to removed by Arturans finest. Within mere moments of making her pledge, Rylza had broken it. How in the world could someone be THAT much of a failure? How could a ELF be that much of a failure? These questions ringed through her minds as Rylza sat catatonic, her hands gripping her face like talons, too ashamed to show her face. As she sat there, crying, she could not believe herself. How could she have done this? How could she have failed SO MUCH? All those years, meaningless. And her parents? How could they love such a rout, such a undeniable loss of a elf? Disgraced, and with little left to turn to, it was here she decided to make her peace. She would not disgrace herself any longer, nor her client house. She made her decision known to her parents, who reluctantly agreed. Gifting her with a small porcelain mask, a few spare sets of clothing, and only a meager amount of money, she set off into rain soaked streets below the spires, with only a few goodbyes to her family left behind. It was not long before the guilt of failure began to run deeper and deeper, and at a breaking point, she could no longer bare being in the same place as where the accident took place, and she set off on the next boat away from the Country of Arturan. Bedecking herself in a large hood and coat, she took oddjobs for the nimble and swift in the city ports of Rinion. There she delivered messages and packages as a courier, earning a meager amount of money. Her years of training in being a incredible servant had gifted her with a innate ability to dodge through crowds, or help move across streets, and occasionally, even the rooftops. It only helped that Rylza continuously trained herself harder then ever before, as if to try and wipe clean the failure through trial and blood. Again and again, she would drive her body to new and more painful limits. It was during one of these exercises did fate once again change the course of her life. On the way back to her meager abode at the local shrine of Elska, where she had recently been put up at after explaining her story, Rylza was taking a minute break to catch her breath. She had just sprint more than a mile, while jumping across rooftops, drilling herself even harder than ever before. Taking a long breath, she sat down, only to quickly notice the sound of clapping originate from a nearby Carriage. Looking up the Thin, bushy mustached man Rylza looked with a mixture of curiosity and contempt. "Good show, Good show indeed, my Good Lady." came a grand fatherly voice from the car. Looking up and into the car, Rylza looked at the man. A human, somewhat elderly. His gold collared coat and rather nice carriage were good enough to signify his wealth. Of course, the man had been studying her just as much as she had been studying him. "Hmm" he carelessly let out. "That mask. Very unique you know?" Rylza simply crossed her arms. "Perhaps we could talk about this...Act, you have? I run a major traveling show, and I am of dire need of a replacement Acrobat, and, well, after seeing that magnificent display, I thought you would do nicely." he said in a most enthusiastic way. Rylza continued to beam at him with her cold green eyes, before eventually asking "What is your name?" The man straightened his hat. "Where are my manners. I am Ruthford Bailey, Owner of Bailey's Carnival and Cirucs, and hopefully, future manager of you."
It was from there that one of the few lasting relation ships in Rylza's life would begin, as Rylza signed on with the traveling Circus. At first, she was emotionally afar from the rest of the troupe and performers, seeing them as both freakish and as a reminder of her own failure. In return, most of the troupe tried to steer away from the silent, masked elf. She was especially distant to the Ringleader himself for quite sometime, who she thought as a simpleton who only helped provide her with food and a home for her exceptional skills. But Ruthford was not to be denied a good opportunity to make both a friend and a new performer. He helped push her harder and harder under the tutelage of the other acrobats and dancers, who Rylza quickly caught up to in skill. Eventually, his plan unfolded: Taking her supposed aloofness and isolation and spinning it to his advantage, Ruthford gave Rylza her very own solo act, the Mystic Delights of Alyzr, Elven Dancer of Masked Fate. Forged from her Aloofness and isolation, the silent and eerie Alyzr was a perfect fit for the show, and became a major hit. It would be under this guise that Rylza would become even greater at her gymnastics, and the techniques of Acrobatics. Gliding and shimmering through the air from hanging cloth to tight wire, Rylza would perform amazing feats beyond any of the other Acrobats. Leaping obstacles, Climbing sheer walls, and even the ability to move so fluidly that she seemed invisble, all these and more were part of her outstanding performances. And, as the spotlight continued to shine on her, she would slowly begin to warm up to the old Man. Preferring to spend her free time listening to the old ringleader talk about his daring exploits and adventures, Rylza proved to be a very good listener. In fact, just as good a one as Ruthford was, as Rylza correlated and explained her natural aptitude for controlling her body so well. Although he understood her more than any one else, even Ruthford could not break the permanent feeling of failure that haunted Rylza. And as time went on, Rylza continued to work in the circus and hone her skills under the big top, traveling across the confederacy, empire and other far off locales. Truly, she thought to her self, if there was one good thing about her life, it was that she would have never seen such amazing sights had she been at home, working as a servant, even if she was a failure. But, for once, she felt as if life was simple enough. She had her master, she had her duty, and she had her tasks. She was content.
However, there were more twists to come in the life of the poor Elven maiden. Due to her Elven nature, it was only a matter of time before Ruthford began to display the human's undoing. Gnarled knuckles, aching joints and the paling of the skin all took their toll on the cheerful Ringleader, all too clear a reminder of humanity's fading nature. It was Rylza who would serve as his care taker, making sure that he was well, and that a fine successor was chosen for the troupe. It would also be Rylza, who would watch as her only friend began to fade away from this life, his final words begging for Rylza to overcome her own self loathing, and to simply live life to the fullest. The day it happened was a fairly quiet day for the carnival. They had just gotten back from the crownlands, and we're stopping in a nearby clearing to rest when Rylza had realized what was happening. Her silent tranquility was thrown aside as she raced to the door, and charged to her lone comrades bedside. She was only fast enough to reach him in time to hear his final words as he left this world for another, those same words echoing in her ears from a conversation long since passed. "Don't beat yourself up...There's point in just giving into failure. Embrace it and overcome it. Thats the only way to move on." And with those words spoken, Ruthford departed and Rylza felt lost once more.
It was said that for ten days after the death and cremation of Ruthford, Rylza weeped underneath her mask, even during her brief speech about their time spent together. Ruthford, who had acted as a sort of pseudo father figure to her, was one of the few people few people Rylza knew on a personal level, and also was one of the few. However, as Ruthford's final command, Rylza was to deliver his ashes to his birthplace, the Isles of Enris. Here, she would let his spirit soar across the winds. But as the undead converge on the holy lands, Rylza may soon find herself in over her head. But no risk is to great to disobey her friends last wish.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):
Rylza's main purpose in Enris is to help spread the ashes of her former employer and friend across the locales of Enris. To suit his very specific details in his will, Rylza will need to spread a small part of Ruthford's ashes across each of the major cities and land marks of Enris, a task while once easy, has now taken on a deadly turn of events. And with little to no combat experience, Rylza will have to either simply wait for the undead to fail or try to sneak into these sites herself. After that, Rylza will be then be looking mostly for work, or something to help relieve herself from her past failures. She will most likely be attracted to some sort of new performance troupe or group, but if none present it self to her, she will most likely return to her work as a messenger or courier.
Strengths (Both physical and personality):
Rylza is most of all, a loyal one. She has undying loyalty to any one who earns her respect and trust, and she will gladly do anything for them, legal or not. In this way, she is seen as a very efficient person, wasting little time if possible to complete a task. Most of all, she is also rather subservient to others she sees as worthy. To those above her, she is quite literally a puppet for their choice. She will not disobey, or dare contradict her masters actions. Only if her master is proven wrong, will she herself be proven wrong.
Physically, she is intimidating in a eerie way. Standing tall, silent and muscularly lean, she is quite the ghost. Many a people feel uneasy or uncomfortable near her, and it no longer surprises her when people are scared when she walks up behind them. But this pales in her actual abilities. She is a master of Acrobatics and other such talents. Dancing, Tumbling and flying through the air, all of these and more are all but second nature to the Gymnastically talented Rylza. And to couple this rather nicely, when ever Rylza chooses so, she can be very helpful with proper etiquette when it comes to anything involving high society life or serving some one else, and is always willing to help those who need help in either case.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.):
Rylza is first and foremost, a very self loathing person. She views herself as more a failure than anything else, and after that, considers herself a servant to those worthy. But it is clear she can not control her rampant doubt and inability to forgive herself for what she considers too horrible crimes to forgive. She is emotionally distant from those who do not understand her well, and she holds a great deal of dislike of other races than elves, for they have all hurt the Elves in one way or another. And above all, Rylza considers Elven kind and culture to be the greatest of all, and equal to none. In a way, it is very hypocritical of her to consider elves perfect in everyway, when she in fact considers herself a failure. Bringing this up to her will of course only make her hate herself even more, and can instantly quite her. Another social problem is that Rylza is unable to work socially outside of a few very specific areas of life. She can function with almost no problems in areas that involve high society, Care taking, rituals and performances, for in these sections of society, Rylza feels as if she fills a roll incredibly well. But, in situations where she can not easily perform her assigned task, or the way to do so is not clear, she will continually to shamble and studder, unable and uncomfortable. She needs to feel as if she has a role or task, otherwise, she is a wreck. She can not deal with being a free agent, and prefers the guidance of others to fill her own inability to think for herself. And finally, she is lost with out the control of another or directive. She must have something to do. If she has completed one task, she will not wait to begin on the next one. All of these problems and more mainly arise from her many years of training in isolation from the rest of the world, and the constant drilling of formal servitude. To move away from following others will take a immense amount of effort and time on her part to finally let go.
Physically, Rylza is fairly limited by her mindset. She has no major disabilities physically, but she does have some troubles. Due to her insistence on wearing a mask all the times, she can occasionally be blind sided or miss things in her peripheral vision. Another thing of note, is that she is NOT a fighter. In any case of Violence or possible danger, she is much more likely to flee than fight, unless told otherwise by her master. In combat, she is sloppy and untrained, unable to land blows or, if she does, is unable to cause considerate damage. Otherwise, Rylza is incredibly fit and well off, if a little standoffish
What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish):
Rylza is very standoffish, and prefers to listen instead of talk. She is quite, and unless noticed, almost seems to blend into the shadows. From her look, she constantly keeps herself rigged and stiff, as if always expecting something
Bonus Language (Caro is free):
Arturan - Language of the civilized elves.
Character Traits (up to 7 points worth):
Sneaky I - 2 - “/sneak #” where # is 1-3, no greater than your level of this trait, to go invisible for 30 seconds, one minute or two minutes, based on number selected. You cannot use a sneak level higher than the level of this trait. Using your highest-level sneak costs 8 Exhaustion, the level below costs 4 and if you have Sneaky III, the level 1 version costs 2. In addition, you have a 10%/20%/30% chance to prevent a monster wave from spawning if you are its only target (This part of the trait is passive).
Acrobatic - 1 - Permanent Jump 2.
Leap - 1 - “/j” to leap in the direction you’re facing, at the cost of 2 Exhaustion.
Climber I - 1 - Use “/climb” to toggle on and off. While on, you can right click a block to propel you upwards at the cost of 4 Exhaustion. Having the level 2 version of this trait reduces this cost to 2 Exhaustion per click. Works on: cobble, planks, logs, bricks of all types, stone, and a number of other blocks.
Roll - 1 - If you take falling damage while crouching, that damage is reduced to 1/3rd what it’d be.
Fleet I - 1 - Base move speed is 20% than normal.
Man, that app was a doozy. Took me a bit to get through it, but I have to say, I'm glad I did. I really love the detail that you put into your app. Hope to see you on the 15th!
Yes, I think it means Alann, there's a couple typos. If your app hasn't been accepted yet, I see no reason why you can't use that as your bonus language. It would consume your bonus language slot, though, not be an additional one.
And yes, Scholar and Chef cost 2 points, there are no 1-point versions of them.
Not a Typo. Allani is simply the descriptive adjective. So "People from Alann" are called "Alanni". Similar to how "People from Greece" are called "Greek".

Character Information[/b]
Name: Thojjod Ironfur
Age: 43
Race: Halfman
Physical description: Thjollod stands at 1.5 meters tall, slightly above average for a Dwarf for clan Ironfur, short for everyone else. Thjollod eyes are a deep gray, complementing the black soot which is usually covering his face for the most part as he works the forge, the beard which has long light brown locks that are far better kept than his long air which hangs from his head, the beard usually well kept when its not on fire due to the forges. Thjollod wears a plain necklace, which was originally made by his father as gift to his new born son, its made out of iron but had to be expanded as Thjollod got older to fit him. Thjollods pants are rather simple fur held up with a leather belt with a iron buckle keeping the belt closed.
Thjollods shoes are iron but padded inside with fur to make them comfortable walking in, not that he has a problem with the Iron, he just thinks the usage of fur makes them seem more expensive to what a lesser race would wear.
Screen capture of your skin (I recommend uploading to imgur and posting link here): http://prntscr.com/7knwz6
Biography : Thojjod was born into a increasingly shrinking family, the Ironfur name was fading just like the Halfmen culture. Their wealth was diminishing due to how poor the family handled trading with outsiders, the Ironfur family had to move around to different strongholds as the men in the family attempted to good paying work.
Thojjods family trade was blacksmithing so typically they had to compete with others, when Thojjod was young he on occasion went with his father and brothers looking for any minerals left behind by miners, this gave him a rough experience with mining.
By the time Thojjod was 17, his father was ageing and he had to take up the craft instead of continuing his education. Thojjod was a determined and hard worker, Thojjod helped take the load off his family and as he grew he improved his craft. As the flow of money gradually improved he began to drink which he took to happily, he spent most days when he wasn't working with Halfmen and Travellers in the Tavern talking of far off lands and how great things used to be for Halfmen. The old men told him tales of some of the greatest Dwarf strongholds, the most exotic cities and the strange customs that they held.
Thojjod took the stories of once greatness to heart and upholds his heritage and culture to this day, retelling the tales that he was told by elder halfmen. Thojjod learned basic combat tactics and a few tricks or two from Halfmen war veterans, though he had little use for them as the only fights he's ever in being with fists.
Thojjod eventually grew to the age of where it was appropriate to see the world and with his friend he did so. Thojjod and his friend saw a great many sites and objects that would leave anyone in awe, but their adventure was not to be had as Thojjods friend was killed in a bar fight that had got out of control, Thojjod likes to think that his friend defended their honor quite well. After that Thojjod decided to continue on exploring, going from stronghold to stronghold, continent to continent. Always feeling a bit weighed down by something.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): Gain money, riches untold, restore his family's name.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Quick to anger for the most part, the drink also making him more likely to get in a fight..

Character Information
Name: Hans Von Ziegel
Age: 38
Race: Human
Physical description: Hans Von Ziegel is a burly Germanic sailor who's spent
most of his life on a privateer vessel fighting pirates feeding on merchant
vessels off the coast of Rinion. His hands are calloused, his body is
weathered, and his hair is faded with speckles of grey.
Screen capture of your skin (I recommend uploading to imgur and posting link here):
Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):
Hans awoke with a start. The muffled sound of men shouting and swords clashing had seeped it's way down to the lower deck of the ship. He rubbed his groggy eyes and groaned softly, half-consciously reaching down for his coat as he slips into his weather worn black leather military boots. He hastily buttons up his jacket sea jacket, coughing lightly before grabbing his sword and bursting out of his room in the amidships' officers deck, his sword at the ready. Instantly the sound of shouting and weapons clattering against each other grew louder as he rushed toward the topdeck, his jaw dropping as he witnesses every officer's worst nightmare; a Mutiny. Before he can even think to take inwhat is happening, a man who he had once called a crewmember charged toward him, shouting and swinging his sword wildly. Midshipman Hans quickly riposte's the attack with his sabre, the loud sound of metal clanging against metal heard as he grits his teeth and swings a punch at the man's jaw, breaking the stalemate between them and making the mutineer stumble backwards, only to be met with a swift running-through of Hans' blade. The man drops like a stone as Hans jerks his weapon back and turns to face another attacker who had began swinging down at him. Von Ziegel quickly ducks his head, narrowly avoiding the whistle of cold steel that flies above his head, simultaneously lurching forward and piercing his blade through the man's chest, blood leaking out as the sailor lets out a wretched groan of agony, muffled by the gurgling of blood forming in his throat. Before the heat of the moment had a chance to die down, Hans heard a loud shout from behind him, then a sudden sharp pain to the back of his head, followed by blackness.
"Johans?" He heard a female voice "Johans vake up~" His eyes fluttered open and he groaned softly, his voice seemingly a younger, higher pitch. "Ten more minutes, mother.." He said, burying his head under his blanket. Suddenly he hears a mock roar as his mother leaps onto the bed and pretends to attack him "Raaaawrr!!!". He squirms underneath and giggles, rolling over and staring at his mother, her soft, sweet loving face gazing down at him and he sighed. "I love you mom." He whispered up, smiling at her. "I love you too, sweetheart." she smiled and leaned down, kissing his cheek "Time to get up though." He huffed and whined "But mooom!!" "Get up Hans." His mothers voice slowly fades and becomes more masculine and demanding "WAKE THE **** UP HANS." He jolts awake, the spot where his mother kissed him suddenly replaced with a quick jolt of pain as his face is slapped, sitting up suddenly and looking around. His arms seemed to be bound behind him, a pile of decapitated bodies at his feet - fellow loyalists in the mutiny. His heart sank. He knew what was coming next. Before he can say anything, someone jerks him up off his feet and makes him stand. Seaman Jacob steps forward and looks him up and down and chuckles "I used ta like ye, Midshipman Von Ziegel" He says in a rather mocking tone. Jacob wears the captain's coat, appearing to be the leader of the mutiny. "And such, I'll spare ye from being beheaded. BUT." He says, "Ye'll have t' swim to Rinion from 'ere." He points over at the distant coastline of Rinion, seemingly miles away.
Hans' eyes widen, and before he can say anything, his binds are cut and he's booted into the ocean, plummeting a good four meters into the icy cold deep blue ocean. Water fills his lungs as he coughs and sputters, kicking the boots off his feet to lighten the weight, pulling his coat off as well. He wastes no time nor energy to look back, immediately setting off toward the Rinion coastline. A minute passes... then another... and another... His energy is slowly depleting as he coughs and sputters. He had not even swam a quarter of the way there and his hopes of survival seemed slim. He whimpered as his head dipped under the water, giving a desperate kick to break his head up out of the water, gasping for air. Suddenly his head perks up as he hears a familiar noise. *ding ding!* *ding!* *ding!* His heart suddenly startedpumping as he jerked his head to the side. He could see it. A small buoy in water, dancing up and down in the waves not fifty meters away. He began to swim hard and desperate toward the buoy, sputtering and coughing as his drenched clothes weigh him down. After what seems like several hours of struggling against the choppy sea, he finally makes it to the bobbing object, clinging onto it for dear life as it helps him keep afloat. The waves begin to batter against him as he glances up at the now dark-grey sky. A storm was approaching. He cursed to himself as his luck seemed to have come and then gone so suddenly. He panted desperately and caught his breath, panting like a dog. Climbing up onto the buoy, he scanned around. It seemed he was actually about halfway to the coast already. Gritting his teeth, Hans began to do what he knew worked. Taking some rope from the buoy, he began lashing it around his ankles and waist, making sure no air would leak out. He then began fanning air into his trousers, creating a makeshift floatation device out of them, then tearing a piece of half-water-logged wood off of the buoy before gritting his teeth and throwing himself off of his safe island. Ocean once again rushed into his body, his pants bloating up against the water, his creation working! He rolled onto his back and began to kick clinging the hunk of wood to his chest as he swam toward the coast again.
About thirty minutes of kicking and struggling against the choppy, stormy waves, passed until he suddenly felt sand scraping against his back. He had made it to shore, panting and gasping for air heavily. A distant shout is heard, a few seconds pass and men begin scooping him up and carrying him away. Slowly he begins to fall asleep as they move his weak, exhausted body to safety. "Time to wake up, honey." His mother's voice is heard again, and he wakes up, looking around. He sighed and replied "Alriiighttt..." He moved the covers aside and sat up, glancing back at his mother, yelping loudly and rearing back, falling out of his bed as he turns white with fear, trembling. His mother was dead, hanging from the ceiling on a noose. Her skin was pale and she smelt of rotting meat, a sign hung around her neck, on it, the single word "Pirate". The young Johans began crying loudly, covering his eyes with his small, childlike hands as he curled up on the floor.
Hans awoke with a start. His heart was pounding, tears streamed down his face as he sat up quickly, glancing around the room he was in. He looked down at his hands. Theywere back to normal, plastered with callouses and scars. He let out a quick sigh and wiped the tears from his face, picking himself up out of the bed he was laid in, it seemed to be a small tavern bedroom. He glanced down at the trunk at the foot of the bed, a fresh pile of clothes were folded up, his hat perched atop them. Whoever it was that had helped him somehow had the money to buy him a
new uniform...
And from here, I don't want to write another fitty paragraphs, so to
summarize, he quit being a sailor and became a mercenary, since his
forté aboard the Privateer vessel was combat and forging documents for
the captain to be allowed at certain ports.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):
Hans is a con-man, forgery artist, some call him an assassin, though he
likes to think he's just another mercenary. After being mutinied, Hans
decided that his life at sea should be halted, or at the very least,
paused until he is able to find another crew to sail with.
Strengths (Both physical and personality):
Johans, as stated before, is a con-man. He knows his way around laws,
documents, legal issues and every day conversations. His skills as a
sailor has made him a very nimble individual, allowing him to do some
moderate escape and evasion tactics if the situation calls for it. He is
a self-proclaimed expert swordsman, and his time spent as an officer
aboard a privateer vessel has built his leadership skills. As a leader,
he is strong, charismatic and likeable, but does not employ much
discipline, as he had just left it for the Bo'sun to do.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.):
Johans suffers from light PTSD due to certain situations he has had to go
through in his lifetime, be it a hurricane, a myriad of sea battles, or
just his mother's brutal death, he's not quite sure. After his swim to
Rinion, he has developed a fear of drowning, or just open water in
general. His disciplinary skills as a leader are lacking, partly the
reason why he's so likeable.
What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish):
Johans loves cats.
Bonus Language (Caro is free):
In his travels around the world, Von Ziegel has picked up the Savage language, and is now recently fluent in it.
Your traits MUST COINCIDE with your
character in description and biography. Whitelisters can and will defer
apps if your traits do not match your character. New characters begin
with 7 trait points, but a final eighth point can be earned in character
through training. Some traits such as alchemy and arcane magic can only
be obtained in game. You can learn new traits through in-character
training at the expense of replacing one of your previously known
traits. Some traits cost more than one point, so please ask if you have
any questions.
Deferred (sorry for flipflop, got corrected on something)
Mullraugh:
Really really great app, but there's just a few little issues. The Medium Armor and Martial Weapons both require Light Armor and Simple Weapons respectively. Just tweak your traits and you're in.

Character Information
Name: Amaliana Riyandare
Age: 26
Race: Human/Forezzie
Physical description: Amaliana stands at a height of 5’3 and weighs 115 pounds. She has vibrant light blonde hair she inherited from her mother and gray eyes she inherited her father. She can be seen wearing a light green, white and gold gown occasionally with her dark blue/black cape.
Screen capture of your skin:
Biography:
[First entry in her diary, this entry is written in very neat hand writing.]
Born of royalty to the Riyandare family of Forezzie. Amaliana was the second born child of the family. The first princess heir to the family, mother graciously believed in the importance of training me to become a prim and proper noble lady. Father always disagreed with mother as our family needed to do all we could to continuously fight for power in Forezzie.
Being raised with the intent of being married off to another royal family within Forezzie. I was taught all of the formal ways of being a princess, such as how to properly speak, how to dress and how to address those lesser than I. Those lessons were tedious, my heart never lied within reason of being a pretty princess for power. I wanted a piece of the action. I wanted to fight along my siblings and train with the men my father looked over. It broke mother’s heart when I decided to tell her I wanted to be trained in weaponry and not princess lessons. That feeling of disappointment was unbearable.
[This concludes the end of this journal entry.]
[Entry two.]
Upon telling my father I wanted to become a trained archer, he had soon hired a teacher for me. I still remember the graceful smile he gave me upon hearing this. It was like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. As I was training to be an archer, my little sister had been curious about swordsman. She took a natural liking to the training as she watched our elder brother train and the men our father looked after train. Shortly after she was asking our elder brother to teach her.
We were very happy to see our sister take interest in swordsmanship. So for a few weeks I stopped my own training to teach what little I knew about swords to my sister, while my brother taught her how to wield one. After passing on what little knowledge I had of swords to my sister I had continued again with my own training.
With years passing by and my training accelerating, I had felt very confident in myself. Though with that confidence, I still couldn’t shake the feeling of failing my mother. So while training I recruited one of my mother's closest friends to re-teach me the ways of a Noble woman. This seemed harder than my archer training. Though with time I had successfully completed them both.
[This concludes the end of this journal entry]
[Entry three.]
Little did I know in due time my world would be ripped apart. Mother had passed away a year prior and it only seemed that things had gotten worse.
It was my sister’s 18th birthday when things went to s***. We had been betrayed by former allies. Our father had saved my sister that day, taking arrows to the back for her. We fled for the Crownlands borders.
Growing tired of running through the woods, elder brother and I stopped to regain our breath. Our little sister bravely attempted to fight the horseman as she begged for us to move forward. I instantly refused and drew my bow, trying so hard to focus on the moving targets. Our sister had shown she wasn’t so little anymore that day.
Father’s very last words that day were to get to Enris and that he loved us. But I have fallen in love with the land of Crownlands. I do hope to venture to Enris to hopefully find my sister. I must ensure her safety.
[This concludes the end of this journal entry.]
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To find her siblings and hopefully create a successful life of her own.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): An excellent trained archer. Amaliana is a very independent person, she doesn’t have to rely on others for favors. Amaliana is very knowledgeable, loving to learn about new things and various types of training. Amaliana is an evaluator, having a keen sense of danger, she likes to evaluate every situation carefully before acting.
Weaknesses: Amaliana being so stubborn, leads to her own deception in many cases.
A daily weakness that Amaliana may be confronted with is a swordsman, as she has only ever used a bow. She is unaware of how to defend herself in melee combat.
What is your character's personality?: Amaliana often comes off as insensitive tends to get wrapped up in her own tasks and curiosity, may come off as a distant person, though once spending a various amount of time with Amaliana, you will see she isn’t as insensitive as you think.

What is the definition of “Roleplay”?: Creating and assuming a persona independent to your own.

Kradgrums father was the head of the Lumberjacks guild and was forced to work long days as his wife was too frail and sickly to work the field or to chop trees. His mother did what she could by helping raise her children and kept a small garden to provide a little extra food for their large family. His house contained his 4 siblings (3 boys, 1 girl), his grandparents and 2 more adopted Human children.
Kradgrum was the 4th oldest of the 7 total children but was also the strongest. All of the other Halfmen children were born with a condition that made them frail like their mother. The local healers could not find a way to heal their plight and even if there was a way they would never be able to afford it. The only hope they had was that the adopted Human children would grow up to be strong but they were still just toddlers so it would not be any time soon. Kradgrum knew when he was very young that he would have to do whatever he could to provide for his very poor family. He started with helping his mother with her garden and taking whatever extra food they had to the market. He would help watch the other local children while their parents went off to work. The local temple of Elska is a place he visited each morning to pray for his father to stay strong and able to work and for him to grow strong to help his family. His prayers were seemingly finally answered on his first day of working with his father at the young age of 13. As he picked up his axe he felt a surge of strength come through him and he felled a tree that could only be felled by 2 or more men by himself. He looked in disbelief at what he had done and turned around to see every lumberjack staring at him, some with mouths agape.
Kradgrums new found strength helped keep his family just outside of poverty and soon he helped them afford a larger house. He remained working in his village for many more years and brought his family happiness. His brothers and sisters used their new found money to go to school and became scholars and priests. Kradgrum, however, did not care for such things. He stayed by his fathers side running the logging business. Once he was older Kradgrum began venturing into other manual labor jobs such as hauling, farming, mining and construction. He began to love them all but was never as proficient as he was in logging. When he turned 25 Kradgrum decided to sail to other lands and see what he could accomplish as he did not want to stay in the village forever.
Hearing of trouble in the island kingdom of Enris, Kadgrum decided it would be quite the test of his abilities if he could help maintain the supplies of an army. He took a boat across the sea and landed in the city of Land's End, only to find that he had landed on a seemingly doomed island. Upon landing he began searching for the nearest temple of Elska to pray for the strength to help the people of this ravaged land. Kradgrum was not a trained soldier but he knew how to work hard and to swing an axe so he thought that might be enough to help. It did not take long for Kradgrum to notice the large amount of orphans roaming the streets. They lived in orphanages but were becoming filled to the brim and many were left in the streets to beg and steal to survive. Along with orphans running amok he noticed the amount of poor people and refugees was massive. Kadgrum knew that the first thing he would need to do was to help these people in need and the only way he knew how was to work. Kadgrum rested his axe on his shoulder and began walking into town looking for his first job in this broken land...
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To help the poor of the land by working and saving up money to give to them. Donating to charities and starting companies to help the poor find work.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): Kadgrum is very good with children and is very warm to everyone he meets. He is willing to drop everything to help someone he just met. His ability to fell trees can put to shame most seasoned veterans.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Kadgrum is not very intelligent as he did not participate in any schooling. He is not dumb but not smart by any means. He is too willing to help those that he views need it and will be easily swindled out of his money and time. Cannot manage money very well as his father managed all the money for the business, will need someone to run his business for the poor which can open him up to being stolen from.
What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish): Kadgrum is very warm to everyone he meets and is great with children. He will most refer to everyone as a friend and will likely make many due to that.
Bonus Language (Caro is free): Runic (taught to him by his father)

BunniWabbit - Good app! Hope to see you tomorrow for launch. Don't forget to vote for Hand of the King and the Marshal on the Enjin Forums.
DowntownDavis - I'd edit out that part about you felling a tree in a single swing, but other than that, it looks golden. Don't forget to vote for Hand of the King and the Marshal on the Enjin Forums.
I am guessing I should take out/revise the entire "save the land" part? Just want to be sure that's all

Biography:
What is your character’s main goal?:
Valice wants to find out who he truly is and what his purpose on the planet is. Though he has an immature personality, he is adamant in seeing his goal through.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
+ Optimistic
+ Good hand dexterity
+ Adamant
+ Good with money
+ Bargainer
+ Good at management
- Eccentric
- Forgetful
- Confused
- Bit of an ass
- Physically weak
- Absent minded
What is your character's personality?:
Valice is best described as extremely warped. He loves a good joke and enjoys playing tricks on unsuspecting people. Though he doesn't seem like the brightest, Valice is rather smart and crafty in the way he does things. He's eccentric and incredibly superstitious and obsessed with supernatural things. While he can sometimes act like a jerk, there's still a part of him that is kind and considerate, even if it may come out rarely. Valice is also incredibly cheap and obsessed with gold and money. He tends to be quite greedy and tries to get the most out of everything.

Not a Typo. Allani is simply the descriptive adjective. So "People from Alann" are called "Alanni". Similar to how "People from Greece" are called "Greek".

Thjollod eyes are a deep gray, complementing the black soot which is usually covering his face for the most part as he works the forge, the beard which has long light brown locks that are far better kept than his long air which hangs from his head, the beard usually well kept when its not on fire due to the forges.

Screen capture of your skin (I recommend uploading to imgur and posting link here):

fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more
than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being

new uniform...
summarize, he quit being a sailor and became a mercenary, since his
forté aboard the Privateer vessel was combat and forging documents for
the captain to be allowed at certain ports.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's
strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that
is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use
a bow as a miner.):
Johans suffers from light PTSD due to certain situations he has had to go
through in his lifetime, be it a hurricane, a myriad of sea battles, or
just his mother's brutal death, he's not quite sure. After his swim to
Rinion, he has developed a fear of drowning, or just open water in
general. His disciplinary skills as a leader are lacking, partly the
reason why he's so likeable.
What is your character's personality?
(Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't
fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish):
Johans loves cats.

Bonus Language (Caro is free): Arturan

His father, Kaldern, and mother, Lonwela, were constantly away working to provide enough coin to feed their family.
