Don't have one (yet, at least.)
Do you have any prior roleplay-related experience, if so could you give an example?
Yes. I play on several other RP servers (one of which being a server called ElysiumRP) each of which I'm still a beginner, but my friend and I like to privately roleplay as we build our homes.
Define Power-gaming in your own words:
Powergaming is forcing something against someone (RP-wise) such as immediately killing them instead of acting out an RP scene that leads to them dying.
Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Metagaming is when you/someone else goes outside of the rules to get more powerful.
----IC Info----
Character name:
Sagitta Pyxis
Character race:
Dark Elf
Character age:
Unknown - she is very irrational and has much curiosity about the world, though, so she is presumed to be 17, only a teenager in human years.
Character Occupation
(optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):
Sagitta is a Hunter, but she's always wondering whether or not she should become a blacksmith.
Character description
(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Sagitta has pale, silvery skin, giving her the appearance of someone with no -- or very little -- blood. She has coal-black eyes, and a slim frame. She is slightly shorter than her High Elf counterparts, making her the prime topic of all her rogue High Elf companion's jokes. Sagitta also has waist-long, thick hair that is the color of freshly-fallen snow. It shimmers with streaks of blue when she walks in the sunlight.
Character personality and traits
(At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
Sagitta has a rebellious streak, along with extreme curiosity that almost always leads her in to dangerous situations. She knows almost nothing about the world she lives in, so she's always "breaking tradition" with what she does (Sagitta once attempted to climb a tree to try and make friends with some of the High Elves her age, which landed her in to heaps of trouble.)
The Dark Elf has quite a few quirks, as well, one of which being an obsessive desire to make things "symmetrical". She also gets extremely irritated when people just leave a door open instead of "closing it like they're supposed to".
Character biography
(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Sagitta is a Dark Elf that is attracted to the stars. She was, in fact, named after two constellations - Sagitta, the arrow of Sagittarius, and Pyxis, the compass. She is quite different from the rest of her kind, and doesn't abide by tradition the way everyone else does.
She was taught to be a great mage at an early age, but she had to take up archery to help defend herself as well. Because she was so powerful, the High Elves locked up her magic while she still lived in their realm in fear of her destroying everything.
Sagitta got lonely, though. The High Elves forbid her to play with, talk to, or even just be around others her age. One day, she decided to break all the rules and climb a tree to find the High Elves. Along the way, she found another rebel her age - a High Elf named Piper. They became close friends, but because of this, they were both cast-outs from society.
Sagitta now adventures with her companion, learning more about the outside world than she ever learned back at home.
Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each):
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
Sagitta's eyes widen with shock. "Hey! That was all my money!" She yells after the child. Sagitta starts running towards the child, but they have much more energy than her. The cobbled streets of the city give way to the grassy, untamed environment of the forest, and she stumbles on a stray tree root. Sagitta slowly stands up and wipes herself off. "Well, I hope that kid had a good reason for taking all my money," she grumbles, and starts heading back.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
Sagitta bends down next to the trap. "It's okay," she whispers to the wolf pups. "I'll get you out. Shh," she whispers, trying to sooth the distressed mother. Sagitta slowly pries open the trap, careful not to hurt herself. She knew the farmers wouldn't like this, but she didn't care. If a wild animal was in need of help, she helped them.
The wolf darts out of the trap once it opens, and nuzzles her head in Sagitta's hand. The wolves then proceed to scamper off, the mother limping a bit, as the Dark Elf waves goodbye. "I hope they don't get trapped on their way back home, either." She says to herself, and continues on her way back to the city.
Only fill out below if you want your character to have magic capabilities. If you do not fill this out then your character will be incapable of performing any form of magic. Also note that it will take significant in character practice and experience to become any form of proficient in magic. (We only accept high quality magic applications!) _______________________________________________________________________
Magic Biography; Explain the reason you want your character to have magic through backstory application: (At least three extremely well-crafted paragraphs. You must describe to us why your character can use magic, what drives him to further his ability, where he obtained his magic, where he learned that he could use magic, and what benefits magic brings to this character, what type of magic they’ll strive to use, etc. This is not a middle school paper! I will not accept applications that say “My character got my magic from x, and he wants to use it because it’ll help him! Also for RP!")
Sagitta was taught magic from her grandfather, Sirius. He was a wise old man, and had the special talent of being able to see glimpses of the future. One day, Sirius saw something terrible happening to Sagitta, so he began to teach her magic.
She first learned Air/Wind Magic. Sirius said it would aid her in her travels, and it was one of the most basic forms of magic. The second, however, was something that took years to master: Holy Magic. She could use it to remove some curses, if there were ever any put on her, or she could use it to, say, conjure a ball of light to illuminate a room.
Sirius told her that her magic was purely for protection. She couldn't use it for harming others without reason. And to this day, Sagitta holds her promise to never harm others with magic unreasonably close to her heart.
Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic (This should be at least one well-crafted paragraph):
Even after years of practice, Sagitta cannot fully control her magic. Sometimes, when she needs it most, it fails to work. She also cannot use it for harming without reason (explained in the paragraph above). Another thing, however, is that she can only use certain spells if she has the energy/is healthy enough (RP-wise) to do it. Sagitta can't just go all OP and be able to conjure a tornado to sweep up enemies, or make a huge light bomb unless she has the appropriate amount of energy and health.
Please give a description of the magic system in your own words:
Magic is something that you can't immediately know, you have to learn it over time and have the patience and concentration to actually become a good mage. It is something that can be taught, not given.
You are given a very basic trinket of air, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket: (You can choose fire, water, earth or air for this and this will reflect on what magic your character will start with)
You start with one aspect only. You gain the other two of your own choice through further RP, however you will not be able to attain them immediately.
Sagitta could conjure up a bit of a warm breeze if she was cold, or give her a little boost if she needed to jump up high.
Immediately, a problem to address is that dark elves can't use magic. I suggest switching to something like a half-elf if you still want the small amount of discrimination you've shown in your backstory. Now, your backstory in both the main application as well as the magic section are lacking. Each requires 3 well written paragraphs while yours are only a few sentences each so they require a decent amount of expansion. If you choose to rework your application and resubmit, please post again rather than editing the current post and it will gladly be reconsidered.

-Character name: Risand Black
-Character race: Human
-Character age: 36
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):
Former Guildmaster of the Rogues' Guild
-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Risand appears to be a vagabond, with tattered clothing and a beard long enough to catch insects in. His twisted, long-braided hair is the result of years of lacking hygiene as he wanders the earth, searching for purpose. His clothing would be valuable, made of silk and cloth, had it not been for his lack of employment. Once a rich man who wore fine clothes, he now wanders about in the tattered, torn rags of a once-rich man.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
Risand has always been focused on achieving power. He has an undying lust for power and will do anything to achieve it - including lie, cheat, steal, kill, or maim. He has an aggressive attitude, trusting nobody but those who have earned his trust. As a result, he does not have many friends these days. When Risand achieves power, he abuses it beyond all reprieve and utilizes it to earn wealth and influence.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Risand was born to parents Silus and Kira Black, who were cursed with poverty in the land. Unable to pay their debts and barely able to afford enough food for the two of them, they abandoned their child, Risand, on the doorstep of a guard outpost near the capital. The boy was raised by a local guard until the age of ten, at which time he was officially adopted by a local merchant. The merchant named Risand his apprentice and began teaching the boy how to be a successful merchant in the lands of Iriliath.
As Risand grew up, he began to see the flaws with the system of civilization at hand and began to point out such flaws. As he grew up, he began to point out more and more flaws. At the age of twelve, the merchant's adopted son sent Risand to learn basic swordsmanship from a local artisan. For three years, Risand practiced in the art of the sword - all the while, pointing out even more flaws in society. When he turned twenty, he was released from his keeper's custody and told to make something of the world. He was told to unite people into a small nation as a prophet and a savior. With his sword in hand, Risand set off from his home village to make a name for himself as a Prophet-Savior.
On his journeys, he encountered many hostile creatures which viewed him as inferior. Such creatures, such as tribal warriors, constantly attempted to slay the young warrior. The closest any person has ever come to killing the warrior was slicing his face. However, due to his training in the art of swordsmanship, Risand has been able to keep himself out of harms way.
After his failure to establish a society in Irilath, he took a ship across the sea, discovering Saphriel. At the age of 21, he was still young enough to establish himself as a man of influence, and with a fresh start in a new world, he did just that. He had humble beginnings, stealing small items here and there and pocketing the payout from selling the items to the fences. This was, however, until he was approached by a rival gang of thieves, known as the Rogues. They challenged him and attempted to intimidate him to leave the city. Unbeknownst to them, Risand was excellent on the draw. With a swift draw of his blade, he was able to quickly kill the leader of the Rogues, as well as the leader's right-hand man. By the code of the Rogues, the den leader shall be replaced by any man who can defeat him. Thus, Risand, by a stroke of good luck, rose to the rank of Guildmaster of the Rogues' Den.
His time in power was long and successful. In his command, the Rogues stole countless precious gems and trinkets from the local nobility. His reign ended, though, when he, like the man he overthrew, was overthrown by a younger, quicker warrior. The battle between Risand and his challenger was long and ultimately resulted in the destruction of the Rogues' hideout in a storm of flames. Finally, however, Risand fell to the challenger's blade, defeated, but not killed. The Rogues dissipated, going each their own way, following the destruction of their hideout. Risand, defeated and ashamed, returned to his old ways of thieving and deception. Wearing the same clothes for what seemed like an eternity, his clothes became tattered and his hair long. He did not wear shoes, so his feet became black with the dirt from the roads - earning him the nickname "Blackfoot".
Risand currently roams Saphriel, waiting for his next opportunity at power, utilizing his powers of deception and influence to gain what he wants by any means necessary.
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios.
- Risand would not chase or retaliate against these men. He believes in honor among thieves and would not retaliate against another thief who has bested him. Risand believes in the code of the Rogues Den, to this day, which states that any thief who steals from another thief shall be dishonored but shall be entitled to those goods as a trade for his honor. He would memorize their faces and, if necessary (depending on the value of the goods),
retaliate at a later time upon locating the thieves.
- Risand does not have any sort of care or reverence for nature, so he would ignore the whining. The fur holds little value to him, as gold and jewels are his primary focuses. Risand is a heist master, not a common petty thief.

I've been an avid member of several fantasy RP servers such as "Asmalur - Land of the Dragon", "From The Ashes", "Tales of Astra" and several others that I can't recall the names of. I've played DnD once and it didn't last for very long, however I found it pretty darn fun.
-Define Power-gaming in your own words:
Power-gaming is when you make your character preform an action without giving other players time to react or prevent it. An example could be cutting someone's arm off without giving them a chance to block.
It could also be defined as purposely making your character so they're very powerful and then holding said powers over other players. an example of this would be role-playing that your character is invincible while fighting other characters.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Meta-Gaming is using information obtained from an OOC source and applying it to your character's knowledge while IC. An example could be asking someone where they are in OOC chat or knowing someone's name just by reading the chat.

-Character name:
Katra "Kat" Rossweisse
-Character race:
Human
-Character age:
18
-Character Occupation:
For Kat, being blind doesn't open many doors when it comes to job opportunities. It doesn't open any doors at all, really, because she can't see the handles. To sustain herself, Kat relies on the sympathy of others as she begs for money. If she doesn't have enough money, she will occasionally resort to playing her lute, the one talent she managed to find while being blind.
-Character description:
Katra is short and lithe with a child-like frame. Her platinum-white hair matches her pale skin and falls to her shoulders, framing her face nicely. Perhaps her most striking features are her eyes, which are milky-white and always distant. It would be obvious to any passer-by that she's blind. Because of this, Katra pays no mind to her wardrobe and wears whatever she can get her hands on. She's usually seen wearing an over-sized hunting top and knee-high black socks, with raggedy leather gloves covering her hands.
Katra's mannerisms are much like those common among sightless people. When outside she walks very cautiously, sweeping a walking stick of some sort in front of her to detect any obstacles. When Kat is inside, she prefers to feel her way around the room but tends to stumble often.
-Character personality and traits:
The one thing that Katra can see is the bright side of things. She's managed to come to terms with her affliction and makes jokes about it at every possibility, preferably at the expense of others. It's obvious that she has a very twisted and dark sense of humor. One of her favorite pastimes is striking up conversations with strangers. She loves to talk to people and is very trusting. When it comes to meeting someone new, Katra has nothing to judge except for their voice. Because of this, she tends not to see a difference between races and has trouble comprehending any animosity involved between races as well. She may be blind, but there are some upsides to it. Because of her impairment, her other senses have been somewhat honed. She has excellent hearing and, because she's very childish, enjoys listening in on the conversations of others. Katra is also somewhat talented at memorizing locations. Once she's adjusted to a location, she's able to wander around somewhat confidently, assuming nobody has rearranged the furniture.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Katra Rossweisse has no memory of ever being able to see. She has never been able to enjoy the change of the leaves from their vibrant greens to dark golden browns in autumn. She has never been able to see the faces of those closest to her, let alone her own.
She was born into a rich family in a secluded village to the north of Barkamsted. She is an only child, much to the despair of her parents. Even though they were supportive throughout her childhood, Katra could tell as she got older that they resented her for being abnormal and imperfect. Throughout her adolescence, her parents would keep her confined to the home so that she wouldn't tarnish their noble image. Katra detested being kept inside and yearned for knowledge of the outside world. She would regularly sneak out of the home, stumbling into the town with her trusty walking stick and conversing with strangers. She greatly enjoyed this and was exceedingly captivated with stories of foreign lands, races, wars and political intrigue. More than anything, she was vastly interested in stories about the Pact and their atrocities, listening with shocked fascination.
All of her childhood exploring ended the night she got lost in town. It was bound to happen, really. Katra claims it was because she misjudged the distance to the town square, but one wrong turn lead her down a dark alleyway and over a small ledge, into a rocky gully. She sat there for hours with a dislocated shoulder and several bumps and bruises before a local guard showed up. Kat was escorted to the elderly town doctor who patched her up, then lead straight home where she was promptly locked in her room. No amount of crying and pleading would convince her parents to release her.
Katra took it upon herself to do something useful while imprisoned in her home. Her parents allowed her access to a lute and she began to teach herself by-ear. After spending most of her teenage years devoted to music, she became quite talented at playing the lute and even somewhat adept at singing. Her parents were proud, but their shame at her existence did not waver. While her parents were busy denying her existence, Katra lounged away in her bedroom, the majority of her days being spent sleeping, eating and playing lute. She began to feel as if she was more of a burden than anything else and desired nothing more than to leave her home behind so she could meet new people and learn to her heart's content. Finally, the day came where she informed her parents that she no longer wished to live with them. The look of relief on their faces would've hurt Kat immensely, but she couldn't see it. She set off with a meager amount of food, her trusty walking stick and an excited look on her face. She was ready for almost anything.
What Katra wasn't prepared for was sustaining herself. After a few weeks, she had no money and no food. Resorting to begging was her only way to stay alive. She joined a cavalcade of refugees headed for Barkamsted, hoping that she would find safety, food and coin. Unfortunately for her, she only found the latter two. On one particularly dark and rainy evening after a long day of begging, Katra was confronted by a group of men hoping to prey on the easiest target around, a small, blind girl. She was shoved in the mud and robbed for everything. As the thieves stood up, a thin figure loomed behind them as well. The figure held a blade in their outstretched hand and demanded that the thieves return Katra's belongings. Faced with returning the items or the receiving end of a broadsword, the muggers took the smarter route, dropped the possessions and ran. After helping Katra up, the figure introduced herself as Eryn Angren and offered to escort Katra to Barkamsted. Katra quickly accepted this offer and began to bombard Eryn with questions as they set off towards Barkamstead.

*Feeling uncomfortable being jostled around by the crowd, Kat presses forward, hoping to find her favorite bread vendor among all of the noises and smells. She continues through the crowd until she feels her coin purse being lifted by small hands*
"Hey! Stop!"
*Katra spins around, clutching her walking stick threateningly. She closes her eyes habitually and tries to listen. The noise of the child running away is completely drowned out due to the clamor of the noontime marketplace*
"Ugh..."
*Katra lets out a disappointed sigh and runs her free hand through her hair. She turns and sets off towards the bread vendor, a needy and sad expression forming on her face as she reaches the stand*
*The bread vendor looks unimpressed at her arrival*
"Again...?"
*The bread vendor stares down at Katra through his thick eyebrows and sighs, handing her a loaf of bread*

She makes her way to the source of the sound and kneels down, tentatively prodding the animal with her cane. She taps the bear trap and notices the clink of the metal*
"Oh... You poor things..."
*The wolf growls and Kat yelps in surprise*
"Oh! I'm sorry... I don't think I can help..."
*Kat frowns sadly as she stands up and hurriedly resumes her journey, hoping desperately that she doesn't get lost*

-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!):
N/A
-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Long unkept hair stretches down from her head, her bangs slightly invade her face. She has light green eyes and a dirty face. Lasse's visible skin is generally dirty, the layers of dirt so built up she clearly just prefers not to bathe.
She wears a simple worn blue dress. She also has a brown belt with a four pouches hanging from the belt. A few of them look empty, but one looks like it contains a grainy substance. Another has two cylinder like objects inside. Although usually not visible from under her dress she has a relatively new looking pair of steel toed boots. The top of a brown shirt is noticeable as it peeks out the top of the dress.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):
Lasse' speaks in a sort of broken sounding accented voice, a mix between a few different kinds. She constantly lies whether it comes down to her name or whether she is being taken care of at the moment, often hoarding families so she has many places to sleep. She responds very poorly to being called dumb and will become upset very easy. She doesn't have the heart to insult anyone further than calling them a shrub.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):
Lasse' was born to a decently well off family where her father worked as a merchant selling produce. At the age of four her mother died of illness leaving her distraught father to take care of her. Due to her mother taking care of Lasse' at home for the four years her father had troubles rising to the occasion and began leaving her home as soon as possible. He picked up drinking when Lasse' was about 5, he wasn't violent or mean just distant. She often dreaded coming home from playing with other children at the sun set just to sit around and hope her father didn't mess up dinner. She spent most of her day running around and playing with any kid she can find shying away from adults.
At the age of six she was sick of her father, resenting him for letting her mother die. So, she ran away she roamed around the city playing with children and scoring free food off their pitying parents. When an opportunity for a home would pop up she would take it eagerly no matter if she had one already. If she felt like departing she would take something valuable and slip out of the home at night. Eventually a few of her friends taught her how to pick pocket, she was never wonderful but, if they were distracted enough she could maybe sneak a coin or two. One of her friends taught her to keep a pouch full of sand on your side so if you are caught you simply splash them in the face and run.
After an accident in a sewer where she.. fell.. and was brought back home to be cleaned she decided to cut ties with her current family and find a new one. Now she roams around asking for hand outs and playing the pitiful child.

Lasse' would glance down at her side before taking off after the kids chasing him for as long as she could. Assuming she catches the other child she would tackle him to the ground and sock him in the face. She would then quickly retrieve her coins and run off.

-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.): Amarin and Illius share the exact same appearance for the most part. They are booth 5’10” and have lean muscles with moderately broad shoulders. Their hair is a black colour, while their eyes are blue. They both have fair skin. They are both seen wearing a purple overcoat with a black and red scarf. Under this overcoat, grey pants and a black shirt. Amarin likes to wear his hair neatly pushed back, with his scarf wrapped nicely around his neck and his eyes fully open, while Illius like his hair more messy and pushed forward with the scarf covering his mouth and his eyes narrowed.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): Amarin is ultimately, very shy. He tends to avoid eye contact and talking to people overall. He will never be the one to start a conversation. If someone first talks to him, he won’t usually respond until the second time they talk to him. When he gets close with someone, he will act really clingy around them. He will then, be the first to engage in conversation and not stop talking. He cares a lot about what people think of him and he wants people to like him. He is also a very kind person and would sacrifice what he is doing to help someone. If it is someone he truly cares about, he will even sacrifice his life, despite his overlying fear of death.
Illius, on the other hand, is loud and quite violent, though he shares the same lack of trust of people Amarin has. If people approach him or surround him, he will always pull out his blade and point it at the people doing so, despite how they greet him, or what their intentions are. Illius is easily provoked and will unthoughtfully attack people who **** him off. However, if someone gets close to him, they will find out he is much more emotional than Amarin, who they will undoubtedly meet. They will find out how much he can care for someone and how much he will do for someone. Though Illius really only wants to make money, he will do the most absurd favours for someone he truly cares about.
There is no known trigger for what causes the switch in identity. However, the two of them know when the change is going to happen through a dizziness they go through where they almost lose all balance and change.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences): Amarin Roy was born in the Realm of Saphriel to his two parents, Ivan Roy and Milly Roy. Amarin lived a pretty normal life in the city, until the age of six when he was brought in to the doctor’s office for “strange behaviour”. The doctor diagnosed him with Multiple Identities Disorder. His parents think this is the doing of the god Behmos, and decide that they don’t want to keep their child. Desperate to get rid of him, they take him while he is sleeping. They travel far out in to the woods and leave him out by himself to die.
Although this is what Amarin recalls, Illius has a whole different story. Illius was born to a caravan to David and Sarah O’Mally. His father was a warrior, while his mother was a merchant. They traveled all over the Realm of Saphriel and the border of the Jagged Mountains. His father had his heart set on raising Illius as a swordsman and Illius wanted to be one just as bad as his father. He started acting different at times when he turned six years old but his parents didn’t care. One day during their travel along the border of the Jagged Mountains, they were attacked by a party of Orcs. His father and a few others in the caravan started fighting them off. Little Illius, scared for his life, starts running away. He ran for a mile until he reached the forest. After realizing his parents or the caravan were nowhere in sight, he tries to go look for them, but unknowingly, is heading the wrong direction. He finds a place in the forest where he decides would be a good place to sleep.
The day after one of these events took place, a logger by the name of George Conrad who is a lumberjack was chopping down trees in the woods to get his haul for the day. While he is going through; trying to find good trees, he notices a boy just asleep in the woods. He goes and takes in the boy to his cabin where he and his wife, Anabelle live. When he wakes up as Amarin, he starts crying and asking for his mother and father. The two of them have no idea where they are, or who they are, but they try and calm him down. About an hour later after he calms down, he decides to stay with the family until his family comes. He goes outside to get some fresh air, when he switches to Illius. Illius, panicked, runs inside the house and asks where he is and what happened to his parents. The two, not knowing of his condition, say they answer him and respond with “What’s wrong, Amarin?” This leads to a series of events where they find out about his condition. They decide they will keep him until a parent or two comes to claim them.
For the next 17 years, Illius and Amarin never were claimed at all. Though they were raised by the same family, they turned out completely different from each other. Amarin got along well with them, and was curious in George’s activity as a lumberjack. He would usually go out with him to learn about how to use an axe, how to tell which trees were good to cut, and how to haul lumber. He grew up humble, and kind. Illius, on the other hand, didn’t care much for the Conrads. He would train himself in swordplay to fulfil his father’s wishes for him. He grew up strong willed, and determined.
The two eventually became aware of each other. They would write notes to each other to update them on things they have missed. In a way, they became friends with each other and came to accept one another as a part of them. They even agreed on a clothing style, though after some long, and patient consideration. Eventually, the question that they should have wondered in the first place occurred to them. Who was first, and who is the other identity? They decided on going back to the town Amarin was born, since Illius’s parents travel, making their location hard to track. They say their goodbyes to their adopted parents and head back to try and find who the original is, as well as do some work on the side.

I turn around and run after the kid who stole my wallet. "Hey! Stop that! That's mine" I get lost in the crowd. I start looking around for a kid. I spot one walking with his mother. I go to the kid and ask "Did you take my wallet?". He looks at my with a scared look. I assume he didn't. I continue searching for kids. I see one running out of the city. I run after the kid and yell "Stop!" I grab the kid by the shoulder. "My wallet. Now"
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
I look at the wolf as it looks back at me with a tear in its eye. I decide to help the wolf. I go toward the bear trap slowly. I crouch down and start opening the trap. I keep it open as the wolf is able to get its legs free. I smile at the wolf and watch her run off with her pups.

Your application has been Denied.
1. You made up a land that does not exist in the Saphriel lore.
2. You cannot start as a prominent member of something. Even if it no longer exists.
Everything else seems rather okay, although your backstory was a little too based on the Rogues' Guild for my own tastes. Fix that up, and we'll see about reviewing it again.
1. Your characters name sounds a lot like Sephiroth from FF 7. Please change this.

-Character name- Kas Koros
-Character race- Dwelf
-Character age- 77
-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.)-
Kas Koros is a dwelf being around 3 and a half feet tall. He has long scraggly hair going down to his shoulders. Kas wears general garb, looking like a common townsfolk, not wearing peasant clothes but moderately kept towns clothes. He is not strong but he is quick on his feet and can run quickly due to being considerably toned below his waist.
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.)-
Kas Koros may seem depressed or very close to himself. He isn’t a social creature or someone who tries to interact with others, probably due to a lifetime of being beat down. Kas has become very independant and very self-reliant. He isn’t good at working in large groups but a partnership he can handle depending on the type of partner. Kas has tons of built up anger against the common races due to years of racism. Kas is very agile and quick, weak and can escape combat easily but wouldn’t be able to cause damage upon someone. Kas is always open to learning things that can help him do things his bodily restrictions put on him. He has a longing for being something that is not himself and is willing to learn magic, engineering, or anything to change what he is.
-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences)-
Kas enters his room his robes covered in mud and blood, whose? He had no idea. Panting, sweating, jittering, Kas sets his cloak upon a hangar and sits down at his table. He begins to cry, tears falling for a good few minutes. He picks his face up and starts whispering, “Weak! You… you’re weak Kas! Remember what he… what he taught, you are no longer weak…” Kas stands up, walks to a bucket and splashes his face with water. “I must remember before I lose it all, or leave something for when I’m gone, for my end is coming” Kas grabs parchment from a drawer, grabs ink and a feather pen. He looks down at his first piece of parchment and continues looking at it for what seemed like ages. “The beginning would be best”
Kas Koros, a name given by a dwarven Father, a man who cared about an abomination as much as it could be tolerated. Karam of Koros, a dwarven miner who somehow seduced a high elven maid, was responsible for raising and naming Kas, a creature that the world rejected. As the High Elf became pregnant she wanted to purge herself for doing such an unspeakable act but Karam would kill her before she could end the life of his first born. Once Kas was born the high elf disappeared wanting nothing to due with her mistake. Karam raised Kas as his son but there was never a strong connection that would exist between a proud dwarf and his son, Kas was weak, he couldn’t continue his father's hard work, he was shamed by his fellow townsfolk, he was deemed a creature not a being. Karam was threatened with losing his job and suffer exile from his village unless his son was removed from the village. Karam knew he couldn’t make himself a life anywhere else and he came up with a plan. The next day he took Kas out into the forest to look for mushrooms to create a stew. When their paths split and Kas began to yell his father's name, no response came back, he was abandoned the woods being unfamiliar to him. Kas was alone for the first time, he was 12 years of age and knew little about the world all he knew was hate and loneliness. Kas wandered, he ate berries he knew were not poisonous, his father taught him that much. 2 days went by, his hunger wasn’t satisfied by the berries anymore, he grew weaker, scared, almost accepting that he wouldn’t wake up the next morning.
Kas stopped writing, the ink stopped flowing and now his mind began to ponder. “Would it have been better to die that night? life would’ve been easier coming to an end as an innocent failure” Kas shook his head, “These thoughts are of no use there is much to be done” The ink once more began to kiss the parchment.
As Kas went to sleep for maybe his last time he was surprised with a sharp pain in his back and he fell straight to the ground unknowing of what just happened. He turned over, seeing green figures approaching him, he knew not what they were but he was terrified of what was about to happen. Goblins, that's what they were, either Kas’s luckiest moment, or his unluckiest. The Goblins spoke in their language and snickered as they approached, kas seeing their faces was terrified trying to struggle, but he was too weak. The Goblins looked intrigued, instead of pulling out blades they pulled out chains. As the chains locked into place another sharp pain hit Kas in the back of the head and everything went black. The Goblin slaves are what kept Kas alive, over the course of the next few years Kas grew up amongst slaves and slavers witnessing the world burn and thousands die. The reason he didn’t starve to death was due to the fact that he was quick and agile and could easily snatch food from his guards and from prisoners succumbing to death. Kas was used for unspeakable things, he was used as entertainment and his overlords realised that since he was so quick he was a perfect specimen for lighting villages on fire, instead of sending Orcs they’d send prisoners in first to cause as much havoc as possible.
Kas stopped again, not wanting to write about those times anymore. “It is all the same, every day was the same, steal food, walk many miles, slaughter, burn, a constant tale. I know not why I survived and many others perished, I know not why my overlords didn’t end my life, maybe because I never tried to run or rebel” Kas began to think once more, questioning why he lived why he was never killed as a prisoner. Kas shakes it off again, “What happens next is what matters, my years as a prisoner taught me how to survive, what came next made me who I am”
The ambush of Istrien Forest, or what Kas called it was something that would change his life, for better or for worse. The slaver party was traveling towards the front lines of the war and a group of elven archers ambushed the party, apparently an important elven military prisoner was amongst the group. After years of being a slave the Elven soldiers freed Kas but they were not friendly. Many prisoners thought of Kas as a criminal even amongst desperate situations and the High Elves saw him as an abomination due to him being part high elf. The Elven soldiers threatened to kill him due to being a scar amongst their species but they instead decided to let him be killed by the Pact, thinking it’d be a better end to such an abomination, so they left him amongst the dead goblins and orcs. Kas took anything that fit him, wearing goblin clothes and took their food, he continued in the direction of the front lines. After 3 days of travel in the woods Kas witnessed a skirmish of Human cavalry cutting down a warband of Orcs, as the Cavalry left victorious Kas decided to grab as much as he could carry and followed in their path. Kas ended up in a human town and sold all the salvaged goods he found, making quite a profit. He realised that salvaging battle armor was a lucrative business due to the scale of the war, for the next 40 or so years Kas built his business. He was very agile and was able to hide from enemy parties, as well as High elves. During the war many of the races allowed Dwelves to live amongst them but the tensions were extremely high and many times many were killed. The High Elves were the only ones that kept themselves pure but business flourished in human towns. The war ended up pushing Kas’s business farther and farther towards Barkamsted and there were many ups and downs. When the Human capital fell Kas had nothing left and the war became extremely dangerous, his business was no longer an option, Kas needed to do something. As desperation grew people began to blame whoever and being a creature not accepted amongst the pure, Kas felt heavy oppression everywhere he began to go. His anger grew, his desire to hurt, he never cared for the races but they let him live and survive. Things were changing, kas found that being around the oppressed was his only option, living in the worst areas, eating the worst foods, all he knew how to do now was grave rob. Kas became someone who no one wanted to talk to, back when he had a small business life was tolerable even with the racism but now he was dirt, he felt like dirt.
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
A few quick thoughts quickly race through kas’s mind. Should I pursue or will guards see a running dwelf and think I am the thief? In those few seconds Kas makes a decision and tries to speedly follow the child, he is fast but Kas keeps his eye on the kid. Kas tries to keep low so he isn’t attacked by some angry citizen or drunkard but the kid begins to get away. Kas makes a decision once more and chases after the kid, running. Kas catches up to the kid and grabs his arm but as the kid turns and see’s him he starts yelling for help, Kas knew that if the guards came he would be the one in chains.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-colored wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
Money is money and looking at pups doesn’t give Kas any sense of sadness. (This is the real world, there is no cuteness in dangerous animals, there is no modern day portrayal of animals having rights in this world, everything is based upon survival, back in the middle ages people didn’t feel bad for killing animals it was common practice, There weren’t hamsters, or dogs being kept as pets. Animals were either food or used as tools such as hunting dogs) To kas this seemed like two birds with one stone. Kas would profit from killing the wolf, even the pups and selling their fur and the local farmer would now prosper more. Wolves may only be useful to those who can tame them such as beastmasters or powerful wizards, to the common citizen it was profitable to kill and dangerous to keep living.
-Magic Biography; Explain the reason you want your character to have magic through backstory application: (At least three extremely well-crafted paragraphs. You must describe to us why your character can use magic, what drives him to further his ability, where he obtained his magic, where he learned that he could use magic, and what benefits magic brings to this character, what type of magic they’ll strive to use, etc-
Kas stops writing, having covered most of everything and reflects on his life. After his reflection he stands up and pours himself the last of his rabbit stew. After finishing his meal he sits back at his desk thinking about how to end his train of thoughts. “My inhibitions fueled my progress, what i despise in me proved to be my greatest achievements” Kas once more takes to the parchment writing about what may be the most influential portion of his life.
As he grew up in the **** hole of Barkamsted he came to despise himself more and more, the years of racism, slander, oppression got to him and molded him into a pathetic creature, one that was loved by none and one that had no place in his own world. He tried to do what his dwarven heritage always did, invent. It began with small mechanical projects trying to build something that wouldn’t create a legacy but something that would improve his own image, his body. A robotic, mechanical weapon of some kind. Kas had many ideas and when he tried to implement them he had nothing, no resources, no knowledge of engineering, what he made only pushed him further into despair. No knowledge of metallurgy, no knowledge of gears, no knowledge of mechanical construction what he made was piles of dirt and his creations began to reflect his own darkening image. Kas was looking for an alternative, something he could use to advance himself for something he did not yet understand.
Kas pondered his writing, “Hmm… What was his name?” Kas stands up looking through his cabinet trying to find something, something ancient. After tirelessly searching Kas found a tome, he brings the tome out and sets it upon the table. Dust covers the old book, Kas wipes it off turning to a memorized page. A name is mouthed, the book is then closed. Kas sits back down continuing his writing.
There were rumors in the slums of a senile old elf who developed the secrets of powerful magic but he was so useless due to his old age and his developing mental illnesses. Rumors told of his evil practices and other rumors told of how he cured ailments and possessed the power to save the people and end the war. Rumors were exactly that, rumors, no one knew this man's old name or even what he looked like. Stories manifested out of desperation perhaps, or maybe they revealed some truth. Kas decided to seek out this great wizard see if what was spread by word of mouth was true. It tooks days to find the man, Kas almost gave up but it is almost as if fate for a third time came to his aid. A riot broke out in the streets due to there being a lack of food since more and more refugees were arriving. A street battle ensued and an angry guardsmen saw Kas in the midst and something in him made him decide on smashing Kas’s head with a halberd. Kas fell on the ground everything going black, Kas awoke in some kind of room, weird assortments of things covered the walls. Animal eyes, horns, tusks, skin of what seemed like pigs. As Kas came back to the living world he noticed an old man preparing what seemed to be bread. The man suddenly stopped and began to cackle, “So it seems you’ve found me” Kas was astonished, this was the senile man he was searching for, maybe he even was magical. Kas asked, “Are… are you really what they say?” The old man cackled once more, “That's for you to decide”
After the old man saved him he decided to go to work for this man, the man allowed him to help him gather certain ingredients for his recipes in return for food, for two weeks Kas helped him find ingredients until he got fed up yelling at the man, You’re nothing but a crazy fool! No magic there’s nothing to you!” The man turned to him, all color leaving his face and his eyes turning dark, “If you doubt me then there is no place for you to learn. Magic is not for everyone it takes years and if you don’t have the patience for a month to prepare something that will maybe give you a sense of the second world we live amongst, then you should go back to your life as the bottom dweller of society” That one statement by the old man ripped through Kas everything he said made him realise he was nothing, there was nothing left for him except this one chance. Abandoned since his own creation this was his only second chance, the old man pushed him through the floor but made him realise how little he had. Kas apologized and began to work for the man helping him in any way, essentially his servant. 10 Years went by and Kas was taught maybe the basics of basics. The old man did not follow the laws he was a wizard of dark magics and human alterations, his teachings were something that could be used for revenge. Magic that could be used to get justice for the years of **** and oppression that Kas suffered through. Kas had a deep rage built up and learning these magics helped him feel as an equal to those who shoved him into the dirt. Kas saw a window of opportunity but it didn’t last long.
The war was over, peace was restored to a broken world soldiers returned to their homes and now the corruption and problems that went unnoticed in the city became much more apparent. Guards began to follow the rumors of the senile man and maybe he himself knew what was coming because his last week he became a different man. He truly became senile, Kas was learning nothing but he saw the man deteriorate, truly become crazy. One day Kas saw from the street how guards broke down this man's door and dragged him out of his home in chains. he was sentenced to death for the practice of dark magic, having a public execution. As Kas looked at the man's head fly he heard his voice in his head, “Burn it all”
Kas stopped writing. He grabbed leather binding and bound his parchment, on the front he wrote: A tale of an abomination. The book was sealed in a stone wall and Kas grabbed a torch off the wall, dropping it on the floor letting the house set aflame.
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic (This should be at least one well-crafted paragraph)-
When learning magic you cannot learn every type, there are specializations just as in the professions such as crafting, smithing etc. Magic has restrictions in pvp, you can’t be constantly using magical spells, spells take something out for you just as regular combat takes endurance to take a long time. There are illegal magics just as there are illegal actions such as thieving. To be even slightly competent at magic you must put time into studying, practicing, exploring and much more. Becoming someone who can even be harmful with spells takes time, more time than learning how to use a sword, Magic is a roleplay path that opens options to players but also closes some options if you choose to continue down that path. Magic is not instant, in combat you must understand the restrictions you get and the time it takes to use magic.
-Please give a description of the magic system in your own words-
Magic in this server is give and take. In combat magic doesn’t make you better, it takes your physical abilities and sacrifices them for magical abilities, magic is a form of roleplay it gives differentiation. Magic on this server isn’t for making an ultimate character but instead it is there to offer a different course, a different story to play. Just as in professions there are limitations and just with professions time and practice improves your skill. The Magic system is balanced and offers variation to people's style of roleplay.
-You are given a very basic trinket of fire, you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket)-
A trinket of fire is very useful for survival. Kas learns after fiddling with this trinket that it heats up and if touched to some surface then it transfers that heat. Kas takes hours out of every day to learn how to focus this heat and focus the heat flow, the trinket is not extremely powerful, or at least kas isn’t and only slightly heats. Kas begins to use the trinket to heat up his water and boil out the germs he also uses it to warm up flint so it is easier to light a fire. The trinket begins to help kas with little everyday things and after days and hours of practice Kas is able to create a spark with his trinket, a fire starter or in some ways a heat source, a very useful tool. After long use of the trinket Kas is always exhausted and hungry, it seems the trinket feeds on his physical requirements.
What's the point of roleplaying a complex and detailed character if I can't have a background story? No thanks, I won't be re-applying to a server which fails to recognize background stories and the existence of other places.
I'm pretty sure he just means don't add fake lands into the story, the land you mentioned doesn't exist in this world. You can make up fake duchies or fake towns but not a whole new land. Also I don't think being a Super smart Jesus child at the age of 12 makes you a complex character lol

Answer: I will chase him down and when i get to them i will force him to give me back the money if he wont agree i will give him few coins and go away
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.
answer:
I will help them i will use my knowlege how to nake traps and use it to unlock the trap then i will take care of the wolfs give them food water even if it says that i will need to stay more theno 1` mounth in the same place i will do it till they will recover from their injuries then i will let them free and go away.

With power like this the user cannot sneak so he wouldnt be able to get to someone without get noticed not just that the user will get tired really fast cause the fast runing which mean that weak ppl that doent traning can pass out ot even die from they becaming too tired
With out any traning the user wont be able to run so fast and he wont be able to attack or see what is he doing like he could get in a lot of things in the way fall from something or collide with something really hard and then die
-Please give a description of the magic system in your own words:
You cant just use magic you need to born with this power if you do born with magic power you need to do traning to be a master that can really do magic wit out fail
it's like that when you are born with a magic power like power you will be just a little bit stronger then normal pepole you need to train make your self stroger and never give up even when it's hard you always need to practice if you want to be a moster then after all the traning practicing you are a moster you are stronger then anybody and you know how to use your power like pick up havey things kill enemies with your hands and not with something else

PENDING (STILL) - Alright so it seems in the last response to your post they failed to mention another problem, that being your Multiple Identity Disorder ("MIP") Which should be called Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD). You list two totally separate backstories for each character, this is not the case, with MPD you do not have two separate sets of memories, that's just not how the condition works. Secondly, you wrote yourself becoming friends with your two personalities, this is also not the case in how the disease functions. Simply put, MPD is two different personalities that can often be accompanied with different names and beliefs and such, but are not two separate people with separate memories that can interact with each-other.

He tends to avoid eye contact and conversations. He will never be the one to start a conversation. If someone new talks to him, he won’t usually respond until they speak a second time. When he gets close with someone, he will act immensely clingy around them. Only then, will he be the first to engage in conversation. He will also be quite talkative when comfortable around a person. He cares a lot about what people think of him and he wants people to like him. He is also a very kind person and would sacrifice anything he is doing to help someone. If it is someone he truly cares about, he will even sacrifice his life; despite his overlying fear of death.
Illius, on the other hand, is loud and violent, though he shares the same lack of trust in people Amarin has. If a person or several people he doesn't know approach him, he will always react by pulling out his blade and pointing it at them, despite how kind their greeting is, or what their intentions are. Illius is easily provoked and will carelessly attack people who **** him off. However, if someone gets close to him, they will find out he is much more emotional than Amarin; who they will undoubtedly meet.
The doctor diagnosed him with Multiple Personality Disorder. His parents think this is the doing of the god Behmos, and decide that they don’t want to keep their child. Desperate to get rid of him, they take him while he is sleeping. They travel far out in to the woods and leave him out by himself to die.
The day after these events took place, a logger by the name of George Conrad, who is a lumberjack, was chopping down trees in the woods to get his haul for the day. While he is going through the woods, trying to find good trees, he notices a boy just asleep in the woods. Illius; panicked, runs inside the house and asks where he is and what happened to his parents. The two, not knowing of his condition, say they answer him and respond with “What’s wrong, Amarin?” This leads to a series of events where they find out about his condition. They decide they will keep him until his parents comes to claim them.
For the next 17 years, Illius and Amarin never were claimed at all. Though they were raised by the same family, they turned out completely different from each other. Amarin got along well with them, and was curious in George’s activity as a lumberjack. He would usually go out with him to learn how to use an axe, how to tell which trees were good to cut, and how to haul lumber. He grew up humble, and kind. Illius, on the other hand, didn’t care much for the Conrads. He would train himself in swordplay to fulfil his wishes to be a warrior. He grew up strong willed, and determined.
The two eventually became aware of each other. They would write notes to each other to update them on things they have missed. They came to accept each other as part of their lives. They even agreed on a clothing style, though after some long, and patient consideration. Eventually, the question that they should have wondered in the first place occurred to them. Where are their original parents? They decided on going back to the town Amarin was born. They say their goodbyes to their adopted parents and head back to try and find them, as well as find work to make money.

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
I look at the wolf as it looks back at me with a tear in its eye. I decide to help the wolf. I go toward the bear trap slowly. I crouch down and start opening the trap. I keep it open as the wolf is able to get its legs free. I smile at the wolf and watch her run off with her pups.

-Define Power-gaming in your own words:
Power-gaming is when a roleplayer decides to start scenarios without another player's consent. 'Stabbing' another player without the player's permission or magically dodging a punch could be considered power-gaming. Power-gaming usually makes a character untouchable and all-powerful, which isn't fair to the other players.
-Define Meta-gaming in your own words:
Meta-gaming is when a player utilizes information that they heard OOC or in global chat to give their character a special advantage.
----IC Info----
-Character name: Katrine Eroth
-Character race: Human. There are traces of Elven blood running through her veins, but not quite enough to qualify as a half-Elf.
-Character age: 26
-Character Occupation: She hopes to become a farmer or a hunter once she finds a city to settle down in. Katrine was raised in the wilderness and is a well-rounded outdoorsman, so she's well-suited to any occupation that requires her to work with a bow or a shovel.
-Character description: The Eroths are a large, rough and tumble, messy bunch of people. Those traits are extremely present in Katrine's physical appearance. She's fairly tall for a human woman at about six feet tall, and is nearly as brawny as a man. Years of toiling in the dirt at her family's farm left Katrine with an intimidating, muscular figure. She weighs about one hundred and eighty pounds, but that doesn't look like much on her lanky frame, and leaves her with lean muscle and a stocky build. Her skin is fairly dark. Her eyes are a deep, muddy brown, and so is her hair, which is short, curly and usually tangled and streaked with dirt. Katrine has a round, inviting face. Her face is really the only sweet thing about her- she may seem scary at first, but her eyes are warm and sweet, and implore you to trust her.
-Character personality and traits: Though her appearance may be quite intimidating, Katrine is actually quite friendly. She's a naturally welcoming person- she used to get in trouble when she was younger because of her natural kindness after she would come back from the market with empty pockets and nothing in her basket because she gave all of the money to the beggars. People often think her stupid for having that much kindness, but she's a very clever woman. She's an excellent judge of character and thinks quite deeply before offering help to potentially suspicious people. She's very hard-working and enjoys toiling in fields and forests, for it's how she was raised. Katrine is very scatter-brained and often forgets to lock her doors or close the drawstring on her change purse- she's been the target of more than a few robberies in the past. She also has no patience for people who are quick to anger or are irrational. She believes that fighting is never the answer and gets annoyed with those who think the opposite.
-Character biography:
(Note: when I say clan I'm just using it as another term for family. I haven't created a special race or anything )
Katrine was raised on a small, rundown farm that was situated close to a Pact base. The Eroth clan had lived on that farm for ages, and they weren't going to leave just because some nasty people had decided to bully them. Katrine came out of the womb fighting, like all of the other Eroth children. Most learned how to use a sword by the age of eight, but Katrine refused. She hated the constant fighting and squabbles for land. Many of the other families that used to live in the area had already fled long ago, and she often wondered why her family hadn't left with them. The farmland wasn't good for plants to grow, an Eroth was injured almost every day because of the constant danger, yet the Eroths still refused to go. They were a steadfast, headstrong family who refused to give up the old ways. Katrine stayed on the farm long after she had grown into and adult, hoping to convince her family that there were better, safer opportunities in other places, but they still refused to give up. Katrine's father was killed the summer before her eighteenth birthday. She was shocked when even that wasn't enough to force the Eroths to flee.
Katrine left the farm a few weeks later with what little possessions she owned, and left all thoughts of her family behind. The Eroth clan was all she had ever known, but she's always been one quick to overcome tragedy. Soon, her mind was filled with thoughts of new prospects and cities she had never visited before. She has always had an adventurous heart, and she spent the first few years wandering alone from place to place, sometimes settling down to earn some coin as a farmhand. Katrine has just found her way to Barkamsted and is considering building a farm of her own on the outskirts of the city, or perhaps opening up a little shop. She's tired of wandering.

By the time I even realize that my coin purse has been taken from my hip, the child is long gone, the tiny patter of their small feet against the dirt acting as the only sign that a child had stolen from me. I weigh my options briefly- do I run after the child, or do I let it go? Child thieves are usually more desperate than most, and for good reason. For all I know, the child could be trying to feed a family of five all on their own. It's not my place to decide their fate. My stomach rumbles, reminding me that the gold in my purse that was going to help feed me is now long gone. Oh well, I decide, with a resigned sigh. Whoever stole from me must have needed it much more than I did. I turn to exit the market, my pockets empty but my heart lighter with the knowledge that a child wouldn't go to bed hungry tonight because of my money. I do keep my valuables much closer to my person as I exit the bustling marketplace, however, and keep a careful eye out for any other thieves.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. I inspect the mother wolf and her cubs closely, and remove the bow from my back as I kneel down to take a closer look. The mother snarls and snaps at me, but the fierceness in her eyes is layered with desperation and fear. She's just trying to protect what's hers. Unfortunately, the ground is sticky with her blood, too sticky. She's lost so much- by the time I'm able to get the proper supplies to safely remove her leg from the trap, she may already be dead. With no other options, I put the poor mother out of her misery. It pains me, but she wouldn't have lived much longer otherwise. I can pay her one last respect, however. Wolves don't make excellent good companions, but I can't leave the pups to die on their own. If I can prevent more deaths, I will. I carefully pick up each cub and cradle them close to me. They're too weak to do much more than squeak at me sleepily. This isn't the first time I've done this- mixing a formula for the pups is an easy enough task, and I'll do my best to keep them alive until they've grown enough to venture off alone. I begin the slow walk back to my temporary home, the warm bundles of fur in my arms a comforting weight as I leave the forest.

DENIED
Immediately, a problem to address is that dark elves can't use magic. I suggest switching to something like a half-elf if you still want the small amount of discrimination you've shown in your backstory. Now, your backstory in both the main application as well as the magic section are lacking. Each requires 3 well written paragraphs while yours are only a few sentences each so they require a decent amount of expansion. If you choose to rework your application and resubmit, please post again rather than editing the current post and it will gladly be reconsidered.
Everywhere you look it's just a torch in a hole.

- Risand does not have any sort of care or reverence for nature, so he would ignore the whining. The fur holds little value to him, as gold and jewels are his primary focuses. Risand is a heist master, not a common petty thief.

-Character description:

-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each):
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.:
Lasse' would glance down at her side before taking off after the kids chasing him for as long as she could. Assuming she catches the other child she would tackle him to the ground and sock him in the face. She would then quickly retrieve her coins and run off.
You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.:
Lasse' would sit and watch for a bit. If she could find anyone on the road she would ask for help. If she couldn't she would continue on her way a bit sad. She finds wolves intimidating and would not get within biting range of one.

-Character name: Amarin Roy/Illius O’Mally (Multiple Identities)
-Character race: Human
-Character age: 23
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!): Lumberjack/Mercenary
Amarin likes to wear his hair neatly pushed back, with his scarf wrapped nicely around his neck and his eyes fully open, while Illius like his hair more messy and pushed forward with the scarf covering his mouth and his eyes narrowed.
http://imgur.com/a/27OQM

Clearly you didn't read or understand the story.

-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios
You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.
-Describe to us why you wish for your character to have magical capabilities:
The magival capabilities that Gorban should have are : speed run Gorban is a hobo which means that he need to get from place to place really fast without skill like that Gorban wont survive or that he will die from stravtion or that the group that killd his famliy will catch him he need to be really fast for that he could run from every danger that awaits him in his adventure with this power i can make an amazing story about what advneturs Gorban got throw so that everybody will understand what Gorban can do with only one simple power
-Please give an example in your own words describing the limitations placed upon those who use magic:
-You are given a very basic trinket of , you haven't had much practice with magic yet, but you will try your best. Describe some things you could/would do with this trinket
i would use water i will try my best and use my powers to something make dirty water to clean water by picking them up and let all the dirty things fall down
Thank you so much for reading if ther is mistakes tell me and i will fix them
Have a nice day

You also need to work on your grammar a bit more.

You fail to provide correct definitions of power-gaming as well as meta-gaming
Your grammar is just about unreadable
Your backstory is inconsistent, lacks quality, and chunks of it seem to be missing
Your magic application fails to meet any of our standards

That not my grammar is unreadable it just i got only 10 min to finish it and i can fix everything else that you want me to fix
Yes you may try again. Go ahead and adjust the issues pointed out by Whiisper and you may have a chance. You may make attempts as oft as you like.

-Character name: Amarin Roy/Illius O’Mally (Multiple Identities)
-Character race: Human
-Character age: 21
-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. Also be sure to give previous applications a glance before deciding your job, we don't need 5 bartenders!): Lumberjack/Mercenary
Amarin likes to wear his hair neatly pushed back, with his scarf wrapped nicely around his neck and his eyes fully open, while Illius like his hair more messy and pushed forward with the scarf covering his mouth and his eyes narrowed.
http://imgur.com/a/27OQM
-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): Amarin is ultimately, very shy.

I look at the wolf as it looks back at me with a tear in its eye. I decide to help the wolf. I go toward the bear trap slowly. I crouch down and start opening the trap. I keep it open as the wolf is able to get its legs free. I smile at the wolf and watch her run off with her pups.

I've RPed on numerous sites such as RPNation, Figment, and IwakuRoleplay. I've been on 2 close-knit RP servers in the past but sadly, they were dissolved. The name of the first one was something like Aetherium or something, I can't quite remember.
