Which with Spigot plugins and 1.8, we can now comfoartably have up to 20 players online at once without performance issues.
And we will keep players below the threshold depending on our server capabilities. We vow never to push the lines of saving money while playing with lag!

There is plenty of room in the spawn area.
About 80% of the players deided to be a couple hundred blocks away.
It is a PvP server, so being right next to spawn could be dangerous. With all the players walking by your base on a regular basis.
