Update: Node 38 is now online and any pending setups should have already been completed. Please use our community forums for non-urgent issues/non-billing related issues. We have the forum there so our awesome community can help each other out with plugin issues.
If it's urgent/billing related please submit a support ticket. As always, we appreciate your patience and we are glad you guys are happy with our cost-effective service :).
Everything looks great... just one question am i able to make my server a voltz server? And also how do i make it so the ip is letters instead of numbers?
Are there any promo codes to get the first month half-off or a percentage off? I spent the last 2 hours finding a new host for my server and Minecrafted looks to be the cheapest and best

Yes, your dedicated IP will be the node your purchased in, the name of the host, and your port. nodeXX.minecrafted.net:yourport
You can use a free DNS site like noip.org to redirect with your own host, so people can use YOUSERVERNAME.np-ip.org:YOURPORT to connect.
We do not offer group pay. Invoice payments must come from a single PayPal account/user. For upgrading you would need to cancel the current plan and signup for a new one. The IP and port would likely have to change.
If I were to buy and upgrade later would I be able to keep the same world saves and plugin data or would I have to make file backups and add them once I upgrade?
That appears to be for... most or even all your plans? Oh dear. *Goes to next host forums*
If you want to look at it that way, fine. I just want to let you know you will never find a better host than minecrafted. I have 3 servers with them, all of them have 100% Up-Time, I've never had any lag, and best of all, the servers are EXTREMELY cheap. Support I will admit is not the greatest, but to be completely honest, you really don't need any support unless your server breaks or something, which it never will. Just wait for them to get back in stock. It will be extremely worth-it, I mean, how could you beat $5/GB for Vanilla/Bukkit and $8/GB for a custom jar server? Not to mention Dedicated IP's only being an extra $5.
So, look at the facts. Wait for the servers to get back in stock. Minecrafted is the best possible host to go with, your missing out if you don't decided to wait, I've been with multiple hosts, Minecrated is certainly the best I have ever been with. Seriously, I can't stress it enough, wait for servers to get back in stock, it usually only takes a few days.
Unfortunately, you would need to take a backup of your worlds/plugins/all data and re-upload them back to your new server since most of our nodes are always filled to capacity. We may offer a transfer service (for a small fee) in the near future for those of you who have slow upload speeds and/or large file sizes.
We appreciate your kind words and we are happy you have stuck with us since the beginning!
We'd like to add a comment regarding support, we have stated our support is "best-effort" in terms of response time from the very start. We do not offer plugin management or plugin support which is what 99% of pending support tickets are for us. If your server is crashing, 99% of the time it's due to a plugin that is either out-of-date or misconfigured with the Bukkit version your server is running. We will always try to point you in the right direction and the Bukkit forums are more than helpful for figuring out what's wrong with your plugin. We have a very strong uptime on all of our nodes and any server related issues (on the host node itself) are always addressed in a timely manner and you can see from this thread that there are no mass complaints about "NodeX" being offline for hours/days at a time. We are able to keep our costs low by offering high-performance servers that give you all the access you need to fix any issues with your servers. Unfortunately, if we were to offer managed support for plugins/configurations/etc we would have to increase our price per GB which I'm sure most of our customers would not be happy about. A few weeks back we opened a community forum for our "community" to help each other out with issues in which we have quite a few of our loyal customers chipping in and helping our new customers out.
tl;dr: We offer high-performance servers for low cost and offer "best-effort" support for non-hardware related issues. We would have to increase our cost from $5 per GB to $10+ per GB if we wanted to offer managed support. Feel free to e-mail [email protected] if you have any ideas/feedback for improvement.

In other news, Node 40 is now online and our Vanilla/Bukkit servers are back in stock!

Yeah. That is what I meant by 'you really don't need support, unless your server breaks or something, which it never will.' Because, half of the time someone needs help with their server, it is something that takes 2 seconds to look up on the internet. I was pretty much trying to say that if you need plugin support, do it on Wiki, let the company get to the higher priority tickets. Sorry for any bad miss-conceptions I gave :S
I just got the 2 GB package and I must say, they've got amazing prices but I noticed that the memory usage is always around 38% even If there's no one on the server. I also still didn't install ANY plugins just chose the CraftBukkit mod from the Jars menu which is built it in Multicraft and that's it.
Servers seems to be fine although I'm experiencing a little delay in the game, when I break a block It disappears for less than a second come back and then disappear which is really quick still that's a bit of a lag. That would be fine I believe since I live currently in the Middle East, but I played in different servers before and haven't experience any lag.
But crappy, crappy support.. Sent email to them, they replied:"thanks for contacting, visit FAQ for more info"... no support at all.
That could be an automated email reply, however, I opened a support ticket and been almost 10 hours and no reply most reputable hosts would reply in about just 2 hours.
My memory usage is full at 100% when there are just few players and 38% when empty, and I only have 18 plugins been on a different host with only 512 MB and didn't run into issues except location.

My server's RAM according to Multicraft seems to be at 100% all the time as well. Though none of my users report lag. I think it has to do with allocation. My server's Essentials reports that I have 4035 Max, 4035 allocated, and 2855mb Free. So it would seem that it is more related to what is available rather than what is actually being used.
I would also like to mention that I recently switched to Minecrafted and I am liking it a lot.
So far everything has been very smooth. Easy transition. I appreciate that the host makes available more features on the multicraft panel. Last host was pretty restrictive.
Very good servers! I have been with Minecrafted for 2 months now and can't complain about a thing! The lag is absolutely minimal and and the prices are great!

Thanks,

That order never goes through, once you click/select "Yes" agreeing to the ToS and Refund policy, it's back to $5.
It's to make sure people are paying attention to what they are purchasing. Read what it says next time :).
I will be placing an order soon, but I have one question, I saw that the only payment option is PayPal. Is there anyway to pay via credit card?
