It's basic information that's required in order to purchase products. i am a co-owner on a server im runing on MCProHostng, and we just got a, Excessive CPU usage Suspended. now i cant find how to fix it, and i have NO Clue What is causing it, we just started a few days ago, and im still learning Geting Mcprohost help? How? there is No Fast easy way at all.. also i would want someone from staff to Help out checking plugins etc, i know there ARE something not quite right, but i dont know what or where..
Overall opinion,, NOT Good for New people, and i Spent a bit money here allready.. Verry Disapointing, and i am begining to considering looking for anouther Host with better Costumer service,

Hey Combat, we're sorry to hear this happened to you, the only reason this ever happens is if your server does not have any players on but yet is somehow using at least 45% of our nodes entire 24 core CPU! In order to resolve this please submit a ticket and we'd be happy to look into it for you, it generally just requires that you delete at plugin or two and you'll be back up and running in no time. We do this to insure that the other 99% of our customers get great lag free service.
I hate paypal. Would really be nice if you guys could just do normal credit card transactions instead of having a full blown paypal account.

The reason we use PayPal is so that we can keep all our payments consolidated and secure, this allows us to make sure that our service is consistent for all clients that that no security issues arise. Please note that you do not *need* a PayPal account in order to pay, but rather you can simply provide all associated information with your card at PayPal and do it without logging in. This may be the best option for you.

I just signed up last night with MCPROHOSTING after reading a bunch of great reviews and this was even after talking last night with a couple other places via email and chat. The selling point was on the home page where they state "Instant Mod-Pack Istallation Get FTB and Tekkit installed instantly!" I even was dumb enough to pay the extra $ for the FTB support.
After signing up last night I got the normal automated thanks for signing up and here is your login information. I login and find out that I have a vanilla instal and there is no instant FTB install unless you count me FTP'ing over the JAR/files myself. So, I opened a ticket last night and have not heard nothing. I also have sent a couple messages earlier via a Contact Us text box on their website and no reply.
My first impressions are this might be a one month deal with me and move on to JJServers as I was talking live with them last night instantly and they seemed quite helpful...only went with MCPROHOSTING because of so many people on here liking the service.

My experience is NOT a good one with this company. I am happy for those of you that have had success but that, in no way, invalidate the complaints of those who have not. My daughter and I just wanted to play Minecraft together on our own private server. We didn't require mods or plug-ins...just a fun vanilla game play. Being that it was only the two of us, I went with the Air plan to "test the waters" so to speak. Unfortunately, I found that playing Minecraft via this server I paid for is sorely limited. We could basically do no more than stare at each others' characters and build a house....period. The Air plan recommends up to five players so I thought we would be safe with just the two of us. We could not adventure or explore our Minecraft world together without the server crashing. Mc Pro Hosting's final response after a couple of tickets; pay more money.
I understand that you get what you pay for but according to their own advertising, we were unable to get even that! Of course, there will be no refund or honoring their end of the contract. Honestly, it was only a little more than two dollars but for me the money was not the point. I have a disappointed eleven year old who will have to wait for me to research the Minecraft community for a better server provider. Throughout the many good reviews that this company has been given, it is sad that there is a percentage of rightfully unhappy customers that fall through the cracks.
If anyone can recommend another company please do. Thank you.

Hello, we apologize for the issues you experienced while using our hosting service and I can say that the fact that you "did not receive" a refund is certainly odd as our policy clearly states that as long as your service is within 7 days of being setup we'll refund your payment. If you could provide us with invoice numbers we can certainly get this refunded for you as it is only the right thing to do. As for not being able to move around and explore with the air plan, this may be caused by having your view distance set to high. If you get me your server name I can certainly look into and resolve this for you in ADDITION to the refund.
My experience with this company is the best. I feel devoted to this company, they are super friendly and not impatient at all. I once made the mistake of cancelling my plan with them and trying another service, and I immediately realized that I made the wrong decision. And although I was planning to leave, the ticket that they replied with was extremely calm and understanding. MCProHosting answers their tickets within hours, and they even sometimes have live assistance. The purchase was easy, and the server had no lag at all. They almost have no downtime, and their control panel that they offer makes regulating the server easy.

I use this host for my small survival server, and I have to say I am very happy with the service! Set up was instant as soon as they received my payment. My server has run smooth since day one and I have had no problems. I run three worlds, one survival PVE, one survival PVP, and a skyblock world with zero lag. Very limited downtime, they are always right on top of the issue. Nothing but fast and satisfying responses from there ticket system. THANKS MCProHosting for a great experience!
Really good host. I have had no problems with their service, their customer support is immediate and helpful, and the server itself is very fast to load chunks, thanks to their Xeon's and SSD's.
I bought 3 months up front, and I am about to purchase another year from them.
If you're like I first was when looking for a server host, you'll look at prices and when you see MC PRo Hosting the first time you'll regard them as being a little pricey. Don't make this mistake! Paying a couple dollars more per month pays off easily in support, dedication, reliability and friendliness of the staff. Their support is top-Notch (Get it?) with quick response times and people who are willing to work with you. The servers are good quality and are very nice, it's also nice that they have lots of plans so if you decide to upgrade you can do so easily.
Only downside so far is that unlike other hosts they do NOT provide teamspeak servers, web hosting or dedicated IPs.
They do provide free dedicated IPs for plans diamond+. If you want one with a plan that is lower than that, submit a ticket and get it added on for $5 extra.

These guys have been great at hosting my server. The ticket response time is great, and when I asked for a refund on a service I canceled they immediately refunded me without any hassle. The unlimited storage space for my map has been really nice because its over 5 gigs now, so its a real perk for me. The hosting plan has been really nice (currently using coal). The only complaint that I have so far is the server lags at about 15-20 people even though it says it can go to 28. Though, I am sure this can be fixed, as I am fileing a ticket about this. Overall these guys are really great and I hope to continue working with them as long as I run a server.

Breaking News: "Science has now discovered that someday, your going to die!"
I would like to tell you about my experience with this host. Well, let's start from the beginning, the VERY beginning. I wanted to make a Minecraft server, I looked around for about 30 minutes and I found MCProhosting. I decided to buy a server from them. I got the "coal" package. When I was ordering my hosting plan, I saw all the extra stuff that I could get, such as plugin set-up, etc. Well, I pretty much just ignored that because I knew that I could set it up by myself. Okay, the server is going great for a few days, I am making the spawn, setting up the plug-ins, making permissions/ranks, etc. The server was kind of laggy at this point with only 1400 MB of RAM for $15 a month. Well, I had an actual problem. That is where everything went south. I thought, "Hey, I could just send in a ticket and maybe I will get some help." The next day, I look at my ticket and their response to my problem was basically this: "If you pay us some more money, we will help you!". That flat out upset me. So I look at my other e-mail from them. It is from the co-owner of the company. It asks me about the server's performance and it told me to speak my mind. Because of this company's failure to provide good servers, and their WONDERFUL (<- SARCASM for those who did not notice) customer support, I DID speak my mind. Well, the summary of my reply is "Your company sucks. The server lags. You have TERRIBLE customer support" Okay, this was yesterday at around 4:00 P.M. (Around 26 hours ago) Well, I shut my server down yesterday, okay? Turned it off. Well, I go to get into my console last night at around 10:30 PM and it says "Invalid username or password." Well, I thought nothing of it and I said "I will fool with it tomorrow." Okay, so about 30 minutes ago I go to get into the console, I typed the password about 5 times just to be SURE that I got it right. Well, "Invalid username or password" (I had the username saved, by the way so I could just type the password). I go to change it, type in my e-mail "Invalid request". So, I open up Minecraft to go to my friend's server, well MY server is online. (Which I SHUT DOWN last night.) I distinctly remember shutting it down after downloading all of the server files because I was planning on switching hosts. Well, anyway, it's online so I go on it. I try to use an admin command and "You do not have permission to perform this!" I was de-opped. SO, what happened is:
1. I told the company they sucked and needed to improve.
2. I try to get into my console, I can't.
3. I try to reset the password, I can't.
4. The company turned my server on.
5. They de-opped me.
So I wasted a good $12 because I had a promo code for 20% off. DO NOT go with this company. They suck and if you tell them this, they basically make it so you can't do ANYTHING with your server. They do not help you unless you pay extra and all they care about is money. They do not care about their customers, just money. The moral of this story is: DO NOT GET A SERVER FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER HARDCORE.
