Love this host but last few days been experiencing a lot of lag & disconnections
Sorry to hear that, if you hop on our 24/7 live-chat or submit a ticket we'd be more than happy to help, however, due to forum rules we cannot provide support directly here.
Well, I love you. I was looking for a host for a teeny private server, and I've got one for a super low price! I don't know about their huge server plans, but these guys are da bomb
We treat all our customers and partners equally! Our huge server plans work just as well as those suited for smaller communities.
I host my server there and I have to thank you guys the support is so good with 24/7 uptime and when i have a problem i am promptly assisted by someone thank you guys and special thanks to Joseph Grech for being so nice and helpful
You're very welcome! I've forwarded your accolades to Joseph. Much appreciated.
We offer many different choices! By default we provide you with a standard IP address (185.252.241.22) for example, however, we also offer a sub-domain option where you can make it something like:
myserver.mcpro.co
mcserver.mcph.co
Or even further you an also purchase your own domain from a registrar outside of us and point it to your server, in this case you could get something like:
myserver.com
After having terrible experiences with other companies, I have found MCProHosting to be extremely stable and reliable. More than happy with their services. Used a promo code and got 1024 GB for 7.50.
1024 MB Witch is 1GB

I'm considering getting a MC server with you guys, but I'm abit unsure about which pack to pick..
We're only 2 ppl so far playing, and we don't really use any addons/scripts, so I was thinking the Dirt Plan might be sufficient?

Hey there Orly_NO, our dirt plan should most certainly be sufficient! You might even get away with air, but I would go with dirt for best performance.
I'm looking couple hours for hostings here and there and I think that I found winner. Me and my wife have in plan to start 40 slots server with one survival world and couple most important plugins. Gold plan should be fine right ? Also do you provide DDoS protection ? Looking for european server and I tested couple they are working completely fine, even US servers doesnt lag at all here in south europe.

Hey Silenthunter! Glad to hear it, we'd certainly love to help fulfill your needs. Gold plan should certainly do fine for starting out, and our servers are upgradable so if at any point in the future you want to expand we make it easy! In addition we offer some of the best DDoS protection around. Our Amsterdam services should also perfectly suit your latency requirements for the EU in addition to providing a great experience for U.S. users as well. Hope to have you with us!
We currently have the Grass plan, and are not pleased with the service or support system.
After seven+ days (which, coincidentally, is past the allowed refund days) the server is unplayable. Five minutes after a server restart, the server freezes up and no-one can join. We are using Vanilla 1.7.4.
This then led us to contacting support. I am not the direct Owner of the server, and as such I was set as an Administrator of the server. I can do everything the Owner of the server can do, minus upgrading/downgrading/canceling the server. When I contacted support about the issue, I was told only the OWNER of the server can submit problem tickets.
I am sorry for the use of the word, but this is a stupid policy. The purpose of an Owner giving Administrator rights in MCPro's MultiCraft hosting panel is so that busy Owner's can go about their lives and know that someone else is there helping support the server. It makes sense that MCPro's policy should not allow Administrators to contact support about things like canceling a server or what not, but an Adminstrator should have the ability to contact support about major issues regarding a server, especially if that server does not work.

Hello Guidez, it sounds to me like the owner of your server did not properly set you up with an 'upper level' administration account which allows you to submit tickets on behalf of the owner. Obviously many large and successful servers have multiple administrators in order to share the load and this is certainly something we get. Because of this we have two different roles of access, Multicraft admin, and billing admin. You need to have your server owner log into the billing/ticket area at clients.mcprohosting.com and create a sub-account for you. If you're having difficulty with this if you have your account owner submit a ticket requesting management to make him a 'sub-account' of yours we can do this as well.
We're always here to cater to individual client needs and this is certainly something we could see being a problem.
Best server hosters ever i thought it would be laggy but my members said there amazed on how we have 0% lag and 100% up time best idea I've ever made choosing mcprohosting.
I currently have a 3gb server with another hosting company and was thinking about swapping to your services. In short we are running a fairly large mod set (FML reports 197 mods), however a smaller user base. With this many mods, just starting up the server maxes out the memory. We looked at increasing our memory however with this partner increasing that additional gig of ram doubles our cost.
I was interested in possibly pursuing a Diamond or Obsidian server, however when I started to go through the ordering process it seems that the options available do not meet my needs (a simple 1.6.4 with Forge loaded, allowing me to copy over my own configurations/mods/etc.). If I select the vanilla option am I am able to go through and update it with Forge myself and then copy my own configurations without additional costs or do I need to select a FTB option and pay the additional costs or setup then still have to go back and modify the configuration to my needs?
Additionally, if I modify it to support do I need to pay the additional $2 a month fees? Or are these fees to provide the support of your staff to keep the server updated based on the mod packs? I guess I am asking if I have the ability to customize the server and manage the mods/settings myself or is this a bit more closed down environment?

Hey there PaladinNight, our service is extremely flexible. The options that you have available on the order page are our 'templates' designed for users new to mods that want us to manage everything for them. If you simply order a vanilla server, as you mentioned, you will indeed be able to manage all the files for your server including the ability to enable an option referred to as custom jars which allows you to upload your own jar file to start the server off of. The only downside is that you don't have access to the configuration, however we have tuned this custom jar to offer plenty of PermGen space which is usually required for these sorts of environments. We've got you covered.
Best host ever! I always loved these guys! Amazing support, 24/7 servers, no lag! It is amazing! I just wonder why Hypixel stopped using MCProHosting...
Hello east3myway04, between the two packages there are differences between them, the amount of ram, the cost and the player count.
Grass Plan:
23 players
1Gb of ram
and it cost $10 per month
Gold Plan:
38 players
2.2Gb of ram
and it cost $25 per month
The hardware provided doesn't change (I think) depending on the location you choose when you order the Server. You are provided with Multicraft to configure/run your server and if you need help setting up your server plugins etc, McProHosting offer a paid add-on which cost $10 (i think) where the McProHosting Staff will help setup/configure and debug plugins for you and much more.

We appreciate the feedback! We're always looking to improve our service.
