If you do not like long messages, then I apologize. Lots of stuff I have to say and get to in this.
I am a bit of a drama queen over this whole situation. Especially the fact that I quit literally just two days ago and I'm already regretful of it and a bit guilty of what the outcome was. So if you're a MCF Admin or Moderator who happens to be viewing this thread. If you feel you don't want this drama around the clan section, delete this post and the last one I made a page back. I don't mind.
Happy Easter everyone, but to those who don't celebrate it, happy Sunday.
This is the 100th page of this thread.
I understand Minecraft is just a game, and this is a clan that revolves around that game. But you know, I have put lots of free time into this clan and met many people. Although I may not know those people in real life, they're still people, and I admit I have formed a friendship with them. This clan, RoA, has become a hobby of mine. I assure you I could be doing something else, but I end up turning here. Because, i'll admit it, it's hard to stay away at times. I like to express my creativity, have fun, and of course, chat.
If you're a hater, leave. Ffs why are you even viewing this?
Hello, my name is Air. I make mistakes.
Two days ago I posted an announcement on this thread stating that I was leaving the clan, and this is the most serious I have ever been. To those wondering what I mean by that, I have literally claimed I was going to quit/leave about two times before this one, and over stupid reasons too. For some reason, even though I have told everyone numerous time, people think the reason I left was because I "gave up" on the clan and that I was "angry" at some members of the community. You guys really want to know why I left the clan? Here it is:
I left the Republic of Atlas because I received quotes from Red on skype from an anonymous source stating that he was so confident that I would never leave the clan because I was "bitter" about losing OP and I'm still upset over losing the opportunity to be staff. The reason I got all upset over this is because ever since I joined, I promised dedication to the clan, I promised to help people, and follow the rules etc. etc. I stayed because I enjoyed being a member of the clan. I don't care about the rules that have changed, I do not care about other clans being on the server, and I do not care that RoA is nothing like it was in the past. Change happens everywhere, and sometimes it's for the better. So what Red was saying was that I remained on the server because I was aiming to get OP/Staff again or whatever. When that absolutely, IS NOT the case. I don't give a care if I have OP or staff. Was I upset about losing the opportunity to help the server as one? Of course! I can guarantee person would, it's natural.
The natural way to react to this sudden shock was to simply just ignore it and continue to just do what I do on the server. But I didn't, I got upset and straight up left as a way to tell Red that he couldn't just say stuff like that and expect me to stay. This was the wrong solution.
Moving on, here's what resulted out of me leaving this clan. Which by the way is the dumbest thing that could ever occur. So, I'll admit, I knew of some people who have literally TOLD me that if I leave the clan they would follow. Apparently I'm some role model or something, I don't know. This happened of course, most of it being the old staff team I worked with. See, they made this "pact" that if one goes, the rest follow. So as expected, as soon as I quit they left. But because this happened, a lot of the oldest and favored members had claimed to have moved on from the clan. This sparked a sudden revolution, and many of the members who had been close to those members followed. In conclusion, me leaving suddenly moved people to leave as well, which although it wouldn't "end" the clan as they though, it surely damaged some of the member count. I cannot tell you how guilty I am because of this, I never wanted anything like this to happen.
Apparently people suddenly "realized" that RoA is boring and it's destined to crumble or whatever. First off, I think this is complete nonsense. I KNOW some of you left because I did, I bet every single dollar. So here's the deal, if you're my friend you would make the right decision. Choose what YOU want to do, not what everyone else is doing. If you want to stay with RoA, stay with RoA. Don't leave because your friends are leaving. You still have them in touch, you can chat with them on skype or go on another server with them, you don't always have to be on Allimore. That being said, I'm aiming this to my close friends on the server. Just because I leave doesn't mean you have to. We can hang out or chat whenever, it's not really a big deal. This whole revolution should've never happened. Because of it now even the President Ment left, leaving Red to go back to a position he left for a reason. Great...
Okay, so, now that all that is out of the way let me get down to the bottom line of this long message. Now, I could've written this in a private conversation in skype, but I would be a wuss in doing so. So, I made it public. Take this as another apology or mistake thread that I made on the Allimore forums I did a couple months ago, there's only about 100 of those now.
I would like to remain a member of the Republic of Atlas.
I have had many memories on in this clan, a year and a half worth of em. This is definetly one of the greatest communities out there. I am sorry I make these decisions so suddenly, leaving or whatever, I'm only human, I make mistakes. I'm sure those who are like "Oh good, Air's back!" are probably like "Oh good, stupid drama queen, you made tons of people quit!" I CANNOT be blamed for that, I'm not some sort of ring leader, I didn't intend to do this.
I'm not angry at Red for what he said, it's completely reasonable for him to think that. And also, let me explain this for a bit. Ever since summer these stupid complaints have been aimed at Red by staff, the community, and even some of my friends. They accuse him of making stupid decisions, stupid changes, leading the clan in the wrong direction, whatever. Obviously, he's right, you're wrong. As you can see, RoA's still going strong, I don't really see it dying any time soon. Also, why do you hate on him? I think Red is definetly in the top 10 of greatest clan leaders. The dude knows how to lead a clan, he knows rights from wrongs. And he has the guts to make decisions that may hurt others, but that's only because he wants his clan to stay strong. I can assure you he's much busier than me and many of you, but he still finds time to get online. So enough with these "Oh, hurhur, Red's never on."
I don't want to abandon the guy or his clan. The way I see it, he can make comments about me in private conversations or the staff chat all he wants, but to me he's basically like my mentor. Red is the person who introduced me to the clan world, he taught me plug-ins, commands, everything. He chose me to be a staff member over everyone else even though at the time I rarely said anything on the server. I feel awful about bringing all this drama and stress down upon him, it's easy to say what happened with this revolution nonsense is my fault.
In conclusion,
I want Red, clan leader himself, to hopefully reply to this and dictate whether or not I should be let back into this clan with open arms. If he says yes, well, that's great. But if he says no, then I will leave this clan be and join the others in FUM or something, I don't know.
I'm sure there are those out there who are going to be ticked off that I abandoned this "pact" and I'm crying back to RoA, but hopefully if you ACTUALLY READ THIS, you'd understand where i'm coming from. And Red, in that quote I recieved that started all this, gotta admit, you were right. I can't leave this clan, not until I see the thread locked or the server dead.
Thanks for dealing with me, reading this, and Happy Easter.
Of course you're welcome back air but deep down we both know you never left. A person with that much history in a clan is essential to it surviving and thing would have been very different without you. I look forward to the new era of RoA!
I must say, gorgeous job, Air, but I stand firm in my decision. I wish the best to all of you in RoA, and I hope that we may be able to remain friends. I have had many other ideas for a clan of my own, which I am now starting. I hope that Atlas and Allimore may thrive through another great year, I am truly sorry, but I know this is the path that I must take in this fork. May the odds be ever in your favor.(Sorry for the HG quote, seemed appriote) DERPCAKE LIVES ON! how do you hue by huehueing of course.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Kiddie, there's a pony outside your window with lemons! Look! Oh no now your house is gone!
Air, ever since I met you, you were extremely kind. I hope we remain good friends, but my decision is made: I will not stay in Atlas. If I can stay on Allimore and get all my stuff out, come on and talk once and a while- yeah, sure; let me do that. But I know I will not have the same drive I'd before. Best of luck, I guess-not really good at this "goodbye" thing.
BTW: Gold, that comment on that last page is extremely disrespectful to the rest of the veterans. I know you like Air and all, but come on, man. Some of us have been on for a year just like you both...
i did originally want to join but then i realised that no one helped me start or even said hello, btw killed someone of your horses and also griefed some houses, yep i dont like it either
Uhhhh, you griefed us as air kindly explained to you.
So, this won't be heartfelt like Air's, but I realize that he had his own reasons for leaving. I had a couple reasons, and my leaving was mostly triggered by his own. I don't want to put anything on him.
I originally left because I was kind of fed up with certain players on the community. They were annoying, but also I realized that my own inactivity was why I left. The only reason why I've been so inactive is that unless I'm in an area that's hardly had anything built onto it, my game lags and drops to a framerate of about 1-5 FPS. Making it virtually unplayable.
Really about it, nothing against anyone here. However, I do want to come back for different reasons. For starts, I've been part of RoA since, what, August? So about seven months, which is about six or seven times the length I've been in any other clan. I became a big part of this community, made a bunch of friends and overall had a good time whether talking to people on Skype or talking to them in-game, I felt like I couldn't leave. I'm also not having much success trying to reboot a clan, either. The only people who joined FUM were those who originally said they would in the first place. As a result, I haven't attracted any decent intake compared to when I tried to back in July-ish.
So, yeah, Atlas has been one of the best clans I've ever played with. Certainly better than most of the other ones out there, big or small. So, if it isn't too much to ask, could I always just come back?

Of course you're welcome...you guys are acting like you committed murder xD Its totally fine.

Wait, you are saying the dozen of Atlas bodies laying around each with marker on it saying, "Air, Dazy, Hach, Alg, Alpha, and Mike were here" isn't murder? K den (☞°∀°)☞ jkjk Huzzah for speeches that are filled with tear-jerking clauses and phrases!

You're still posting on here? We all knew it was you and your damage was fixed like instantly. xD

Ha! You were that kid! XD, all you did was place stone! Seriously, this is amusing because you think you're like Osama bin Laden because you placed stone and maybe killed some horses.

In RoA Killing people's horses IS an act of terrorism when you consider how hard some people work to get them and much pride they take in having them xD.

Just because no one says "Hi!" right away doesn't mean the community is horrible, people can get busy and sometimes we just have quite members on I'm sorry that no one gave you a proper welcoming but they might not have even seen you join its nothing to fuss about. And come on, you got mad because no one instantly said "Hey! Heres some money and supplies to start you off!", I'm not going to lie there are people that do that on our server but they're not always on 24-7; things can take time and if you're so impatient you just stoop down to trying to kill people's horses and griefing then I'm sorry but you don't belong this clan because we don't tolerate griefers. (☞°∀°)☞
So, even though Air is coming back, I still won't be on Allimore anymore. I will come back every now and then to see how things are going and talk a little, but I think it's time for me to go. Thanks everyone for all the good times and opportunities. I'd like to stay in touch with you all so if you don't already have me on Skype, my username is WeaponX400. Don't forget about me
I say y'all should make a monument for each prominent member that left. All of them were important in RoA's and Allimore's histrory
