A Geomecrafter is a term/title I coined to identify Minecraft players who build geometric shapes with mathematical rigor, whether it be part of a larger structure or a stand alone sculpture.
This also includes those who have interests and had attempts at creating computers (because I can't think of another name).
A Geomecrafter:
1. Understands basic geometry
2. Builds with precision, whenever possible
3. Appreciates the beauty of the integration of mathematics and art
4. Knows how to create perfect circles and lines, and from that, how to create more complex shapes
It is the intent of the Union of Geomecrafters to link together fellow Geomecrafters, to share ideas, methods and creations, and to assist others in need of creating shapes that can be defined mathematically.
Yes, that means you can ask questions in this thread on how to make something
I'm thinking about having a server dedicated to this union, where there will be various geometric sculptures, but I don't have the time to host a server.

This is an excellent clan start-up, and I haven't a clue as to why no one had started it yet. That said, I'd like to think that this is more like the Pythagoras Club, seeing as you are devoted to the idea of construction with geometrical precision and inter-locking of shapes.

It's in 'aexis', a world under my jurisdiction on the Archives. Within are various science experiments.
But its contents don't really matter here. It's a sphere, and I built it with Paint's circle alg, as you promote.
Now, I don't know if I can join your Union while still part of Victory, but here's my application form, so to speak.
A little more about the picture:
Half of it is in the ground, and it's really more of a dome than a sphere at this point (underneath lie several circular floors).
Those blackish things on the sides are towers, the one in front is the entrance, and the stone bit with the red helix is the spawn.
Those statues are replicas of skins. In left-to-right order, they are a drone, myself, my friend Icarus, and another drone.
Icarus no longer frequents the Archives, but when he did, he was a genius. In his own world, he built a similar (larger) dome.
Within that dome, he created a vast number of various portal-related experiments, of which my favorite is the centrifuge.
And I have been attempting to replicate that awesomeness since a month or two ago.
I take it we are seeing a slow incline towards "interest clans" now. That is very interesting indeed. If these clans are beyond typical jurisdiction, then I will be more than content to join this group, for a reasonable duration of time.

With your agreement, I would like to classify this as more of an interest group than a clan. This will mean that members of no-multi-clanning clans will be able to be members of both.
You will still get an (adjusted) place on the Minecraft Clans site.
Yes, I also see this as more of an interest group rather than a clan. Actually, this can also be seen as an educational group, since I have plans on making tutorials on creation and transformations of shapes, and the mathematical concepts behind the process. I don't know if this content would be acceptable for Minepedia, so I might need another website.

We here at Technological Enterprises would like to extend an olive branch and an alliance with you. As robots/mechanics, we agree with your views of geometric precision and accuracy in order to create better, newer buildings, as we also practice it everyday. We enjoy that enjoy promoting a newer future for the sake of building.
As a representative of the fine ivory towers of the Victory Architectural Society, I do heed your call to a renaissance in geometrical architecture and mathematical precision in the construction of structures. We will gladly assist your group in the name of fine building. This was a message from your friends at Victory.
With much pleasure, Dragoon-En-Regalia, Chief Architectural Head of Victory Clan.

To whom it may concern:
The Union of Geomecrafters is a group for geometry, mathematics, computation, the arts, and the like. We are not a political entity, and we wish for our ideas and works to be free for everyone, or in modern technological terms, open-source. What we conceive and create are all constructive and free for all, so it's unlikely that a clan or an individual will be able to use it to assume superiority.
(this group is neutral)
However, I do wish that Quatroking will allow us to share our methods and explanations on Minepedia.

Ah, geometry and computing!
Extremely interesting interesting subjects I must say.
I have made some of both in the past, and would be delighted to shed some light on their method of construction.
Is there a youtube vid, or serise of vids that will teach me basic geometry? I found this one formula to make a torus/donut in MC, but thats all I can find. So unless someone can tell me where theres a list of shapes and MC specific formulas to make them I need to learn myself.
Any help would be awesome! thanks!
