Embarrassingly, I found what was crashing in my texture pack... I made HD art. In my 1.6 update I will have no art file. I'll probably put biome images in, hope people get them to work. I haven't even seen a hatch yet in MC o.o
Also folks, sorry for being MIA... Minecraft server/ Halo/ Trying Terraria(its eh) been gone a while I know. But I'm going to be popping in again.
Depends on what it is you want. i wouldn't ask for anything in return. Most just want credit for their work.

Well, I'm an admin for an RP build clan with high architectural design standards for its members and a lot of pride in the architecture on its server. But we occasionally run into a problem when people use very different texture packs, and you can imagine the difficulty in creating universally pleasing architecture when we all see explicitly different things. So I had the idea of an official clan texture pack that would be the clan standard on our server. This could be adapted from an existing texture pack, even the default, and may not need all that much changing for most if not all of our clan members to be happy, but I'm not certain. I haven't discussed this at length with any other clan members or leaders, this is just my idea at this point, and I just thought I'd inquire as to the possibility.

I agree with you about this. The PipeWorld server I admin (used to a lot more :sad.gif:)is a Steampunk'ish creative "Epic" build server that uses Glimmar's Steampunk mostly. Just about everyone uses it and has their own "tweaks" in the given (HUGE!) assortment of alternates Glimm provides. This gives it uniformity and lets everyone to better know what their build will look like to others as well.
After seeing some screens on your server, a majestic looking texture theme would be awesome.

I could really use some help with this pack, some help with the items and possibly mobs, though those I might be able to do. Items, are almost impossible for me. Here's the terrain.png file for your viewing and then the topic.
hey this is a Pack i already published on the forums but I think it could be better. Any suggestions on block improvements and possibly mobs that would fit into the pack?

I kind of wanted to actually write a review, so sorry if you don't want to read an essay.
TL;DR: Glowstone could use some work, wool needs to have a smaller black outline or just darker color of the original texture's color. Beautiful wood texture. This texture pack has charm.
I love the wood. It looks really good. I think the ores look nice too. The gravel looks good too. And that netherrack looks really nice, really a lot better then mine. That sandstone looks good too. The ore blocks (diamond block, gold block, etc) look good, minus the fact that they're just outlines of the original one. Bedrock looks amazing. Those chests are good too. Along with the brick. You've done a lot of good work already.
Now, the bad stuff.
One annoying part of texture pack creation is tiling. When making textures, you only see one of them and sort of forget about the fact that the block, when tiled, will look funky. I see this problem with your glowstone. Part of the texture has an unfinished glowstone on the right side. When tiling, that will look funky. You, however, succeeded in making the grass/dirt tile nicely.
One idea to get tiling to work properly is to make a square system, similar to:
When you make the middle texture move smoothly with the other 4, you have successfully tiled.
Probably the part I didn't like the most is the fact that the wool has a large black outline. That outline is pretty messed up. If that was the idea you were going for, then keep it. However, I'd suggest removing maybe one line of black? I think that's two. Or, if it isn't, making it just simply a darker color of the original block color. I don't like the blue outline on the chest. It just doesn't seem to fit into the textures.(Now that I look at it, it does kind of look good. My only suggestion is to change the black line that goes up to the same color.)

I should be returning... I have been playing games more often, less texture. I might soon update RhonCraft, as well as today publishing a new up-to-date "Barely Pack" texture pack. I hope I come back to the textures soon.
