Hey guys!
Im sorry if im posting this thread in the wrong place. I cant find a place to post PC/MAC server stuff. Anyways, I am starting a server and I cant find any useful information on downloading plugins for Minecraft 1.10.2. I am a total noob when it comes to installing plugins so please be simple. Also please dont post any dumb or rude comments.
Since Ship covered the technical aspect, I'll give you some recommended plugins to look into. I'm sure everyone has their own preferences on plugins, but my personal favorites that I usually use are CoreProtect(allows you to revert changes made, good if you have griefer problems), PermissionsEX(a permissions manager, something you need to be able to restrict certain commands to certain types of players), LWC(a container locking plugin to stymie thieves), WorldEdit / WorldGuard(invaluable tools for quick/easy building assistance, terrain management, zone protections, all sorts of stuff), Dynmap(a cool realtime map of the world), EssentialsX(adds a ton of extra commands which are quite handy), TreeAssist (because I'm lazy and logging is soooo tedious lol) and the Multiverse suite (for managing multiple worlds (maps) on a server).
I've also found that many plugins may not be certified for the latest versions but usually still work. You just need to test them.
The Same Thing Goes With Spigot Which Is Better Then Bukkit
GroupManger Is Another Plugin Same As PermissionsEX
When Installing Plugins Make Sure You Pick The Right Versions And Config Them To Your Best
When Dealing With Permissions Plugin Make Sure You Give Players All The Nodes Needed ! For Every Plugin There Is Nodes To Allow/DisAllow Players To Do Actions And To You Functions

Im sorry I posted this in the wrong place. I realized it is illegal to post Minecraft content.
Anyways thanks for the help!
