I don't have reddit or twitter so I am reporting what I have found here.
In a new creative world, if you fly along the X=0 or Z=0 axis (preferably from x=0, z=0), the terrain generation is a bit buggy. It has the terrain cuts like we had between version differences in the old days. It wasn't always along the same line, but it was definitely a terrain generation bug. I created two different random-seed worlds and it had a definite line along the different axis at intermittent intervals.
Again, this is on a NEW Creative world created in 1.9 pre 5, not an older world.
Now this is just speculation, but maybe the world is actually round now, and your seeing the 2 opposite sides of the map meet up
Not the bottom part. I am unable to change/edit the title. It appears that it is bugged, and I have Neodymius looking into it. Apparently, it is bugged for him too. He believes that the topic is bugged. So...yup. Cool story :tongue.gif:
What's up with F6? Movement goes into slow-motion and your y axis gets locked. Is that new?
In SMP I hit F6 and went into a no clip mode, along with my Y-Axis being locked, maybe for movie makers? Though I did still take damage when going through blocks, and only I, J, K, L seem to be slowed down, maybe for finer camera movements (For movie making and such)?
M+N resets the view. That rotation effect is so weird :tongue.gif:
Your telling me, I rotated fully upside down, it was weird :tongue.gif:
Also, I'm pretty sure Fishing Poles have a new inventory image, have a string when you cast it now, and have durability when used for fishing, though I haven't used it since prerelease 2, so im not sure if new or not :-S Also, if you cast it to close to you, it goes under water, and might not catch any fish
