I found a ender dragon in my normal world not in the end :biggrin.gif: at least it killed all of the mobs around my base. Anyhow the neather dungeons have neather warts and there's also a couple of achievements for the neather. Thats all i found.
Other than that dragon showing up, the wrest was already known.
"So, with this shitstorm of Notch vs. Yogscast, I thought I would weigh in my own opinion on it, such that it is.
I'm not sure that an "f-bomb" is the sole reason for Notch wanting to not work with them anymore.
Yogscast was invited as a special guest to MineCon and was even given their own panel. What I assumed, and what I believed that Mojang assumed when they invited them to a panel, was that they would speak for an hour (hour and a half?) about their Youtube videos, podcasts and the like. They would talk about their experiences, making videos, how they got so popular, etc. Instead, what we seemed to get was an hour of them showing videos of popular builds done using Minecraft. A whole team was up on stage and it seemed only Simon/Lewis spoke.
In addition, the entire team acted like a group of self-entitled pricks the entire weekend. I worked as one of the volunteer staff that weekend and they demanded to be let in to the Scrolls/Cobalt play test area before the rest of the crowd was. We allowed them to enter for 5 minutes, as we were trying to keep to a schedule, but they created a big stink when they were asked to leave so the people who paid good money to come to MineCon could play the games too. They acted like they were the Kings of Minecraft simply because they are minor celebrities in the Youtube world.
Adding on to that, they offered to sign things for fans, in the same vein as Mojang did on Friday night. Mojang was highly classy. They talked to fans, signed whatever they wanted, and all of them, despite being exhausted, were always friendly to whatever fan wanted a word with them, even if it was just to send them away. They even signed more for the ones that were cut off in line Friday night on Saturday. Yogscast, on the other hand, passed out tickets to people who wanted an autograph during their own panel! When fans complained that they couldn't get an autograph, their response was along the lines of, "True fans would have skipped the panel to get the autograph."
Finally, on a more personal experience. My friends and I entered the main hall right after the Yogscast panel to get good seats for the closing ceremony. The Styrofoam sign that said "Yogscast" that was slapped over the "Activate Minecraft" sign on the lever on stage during their panel was being removed by the stage manager after their panel, presumably to be thrown away. My friend wanted the sign as a keepsake from MineCon, and the sign was given to her. After the closing ceremony, one of their members hunted us down to get back this sign. She used to be a huge Yogscast fan, but this experience has soured her.
In Short: The Yogscast team didn't appreciate the gesture that was given to them to be invited as a special panel to MineCon and they treated it with almost indifference. They acted like it was Mojang that should be appreciative of them gracing MineCon with their presence.
Notch may have blamed the fallout between Mojang and Yogscast on an "f-bomb" in front of kids, but I think it was more than just that. I think that Yogscast wasn't what they were hoping they would be. Mojang should probably have reviewed what Yogscast was going to be like more than they did, but MineCon had many issues like that. It wasn't perfect, and it was a bit sloppy, but I don't think Mojang should suffer all the blame for issues with Yogscast.
Just my two cents."
This deffinetely does NOT belong here.
Thanks for the info though, I needed it.
As long as you occupy the same block as a fence gate, you can pass through when it's closed, compared to a door that doesn't actually take up an entire block. This tends to cause some problems, say, when you run a sheep farm. Get enough sheep, and they will actually push each other through the door as soon as you close it. It seems like they can, occasionally, force one another through the closed gate. I have come back time and time again to find one lonely sheep, trying to get back to it's baby, because it's stuck on the wrong side of the fence.
Also, its really annoying when the parents don't leave the baby sheep alone after it grows up. If you start off with 2 sheep per area, you end up with one gigantic mass of moving wool all centered around the newest baby. Really annoying.
There's a mistake in the OP-
colored sheep have a 100% chance of colored babby. However, if the two sheep you mate are different colors, then it's a 50-50 as to which color you get. As a note, white sheep count as "colored" as well. So if you make a large fenced area with sections (as I have) with specific colors in each section, you can get as much wool as you have wheat.
But, since they don't regrow wool, you may end up with about 500 sheep in a relatively small area. Then you go in with a sword, I tend to gain about 3 lvls each cleaning period.
I like how a bunch of people who obviously haven't played in the pre 1.9s or the RCs are suddenly trying to post stuff here. And half the time they're still wrong... >.>
Honestly I can't find anything new from RC2. Sheep still don't grow back their wool (darnit)and nothing seems changed, so I guess we wait until the next release with all new stuff!!! Or people start modding the crap out of Minecraft, now that it shouldn't change so much.
Not really sure if this is a bug or not, but animals seem to not be interested in wheat sometimes. This seemed like it could be intentional at first, but I found that punching them with the wheat gains their attention.
Yeah, that happens. Don't know why. But it's annoying. Also, sometimes 2 animals in love mode next to each other won't make with the baby time.
When you try to sleep in a bed in your house with monsters looking into your windows, it will say "You can't sleep now, monsters are nearby" or something.
Yep. That's what they do now instead of having you wake up in the middle of the night and get attacked by zombie/spider/archer. Personally, I like it.
One thing that I hope someone tries, put a line of pistons along your house. When it's time to sleep, push a button to make each piston open up, so that everything has to stay a block away from the main house.
I believe this is new, but...
When you create a baby sheep off of a sheep that is (or was) colored, the new sheep is also colored.
I have'nt seen this before 1.9 pre 6, but I have now made multiple green babies and purple babies.
I love the new moon and that it has phases, it's also nice to know someone else on here is intelligent that knows how the eclipses really work. I have read so many unintelligent posts today this one has come off as really awesome.
Most of the stupid posts were probably me.
There's a reason i didn't do to well in earth sciences...
Logic you can extrapolate from manned and unmanned minecarts is that the boosters increase SPEED. When you increase the SPEED of a manned minecart to 8m/s, it will have MORE WEIGHT and thus MORE INERTIA, making it move further. when you have a minecart without anything in it and you boost the SPEED to 8m/s, it will have LESS WEIGHT and therefore LESS INERTIA, moving less distance.
The annoying bit lies in the fact that a storage minecart, while not only carrying a chest but also several THOUSAND tonnes of rock, metal, and equipment, does not logically benefit from the projected increased inertia whe being boosted to 8m/s that manned minecarts benefit from.
Just because you brought physics into this...
Inertia is an object's power to resist acceleration. Wich includes slowing down, a negative acceleration. However, logically, a booster rail accelerates the cart, not just magic it to a specific velocity (BANG new word). So, a storage cart with several THOUSAND tonnes of s**t woult take a TONNES of boosters to get it up to speed. But then, yes, the inertia would help the cart resist the force of friction going against the cart.
However, by this logic, an empty cart should go many times further, because the resistance to acceleration would be much less, so you could move it further faster. But yes, it should slow down faster, except for the way friction works. The force of friction is directly related to the weight of the object- a heavier object has more friction than a lighter object. So again, empty cart wins.
I'd throw in some equations, but I don't think that's what I'm here for.
