Yeah, they should add this and make Lapis rarer... maybe
You know, if I had a flower that gave me blue dye and dropped lapis' spawn rate slightly, I'd be okay with that.
A single lapis ore drops so many lapis lazuli items, especially if you have any level of Fortune on your pick,
that you have plenty, even if the spawn rate was lowered.
A single enchant will only ever use 3 lapis at once at most, so you can enchant 1 item per ore.
Items just don't break fast enough to not have excess lapis.
Then again, lapis isn't that easy to find sometimes depending on your luck, and if all you're doing is making a blue bed, a flower dye would be fine.
Still, maybe don't bother dropping lapis.
Even with two items counting as blue dye, red still is so much easier to find without needing anything but your hands to get.
Iron nuggets should have the ability to be crafted into arrows, replacing flint in the recipe. Maybe they make less arrows for balance, but I want iron nuggets to have a use beyond just making iron ingots.
lol, Feed them to Iron Golems to put them into love mode and have 2 iron golems breed.
Ragdoll physics for player who got killed, would look pretty cool. (Could be disabled in the option, of course)
Don't you just disappear outright when you die?
You'd almost never see it from your own perspective, unless, for some odd reason you decide to play in 3rd person,
and anyone in the same game as you would see you ragdoll for half a second before you vanish into nothingness.
Ragdoll death would be neat, but you disappear so fast that there'd be no point.
under other armor? I can see adding it OVER top of leather armor, that would look cool and still protect you.
Historically amour wasn't just one or the other.
The base layer was usually a thick (I believe wool) padding.
The mail would then go on top of the padding, and then the plate armour would go over the mail.
It depended on how wealthy you were and what kind of armour you could afford.
There were some types of mail where they had small plates integrated into the armour as well.
I'm not sure about leather armour historically, but it would be silly to wear at all if you were wearing mail.
You're never wearing mail on top of leather.
Anyone who used leather as armour would have used it as the top layer because it would have been stiffened leather.
