The way you describe it makes me hate the idea of a Minecraft Movie even more. Minecraft isn't even close to an Action game, it's a sandbox survival game where the main point of the game is to build structures and explore. Herobrine isn't even a real NPC in the game, so your boat just sank.
You can make a 4 minute short story about Minecraft, if you even tried to make a 90 minute Minecraft story, no one would watch it. The storylines are so profoundly generic, the only people who enjoy them are children because it's mainly childish humour.
Do you really want to go there? I just gave you every question answered, yet you still question me, you want a say in this, you go and tell them you want it like that, you go and edit the movie (for we all know this topic has fallen apart), you go and fix this, RIGHT. NOW.
Minecraft movie? Ugh, sounds like it will be a waste of time. If it was a live action movie, covering a game like Call of Duty: World at War, then that's something I'd watch. If you're going to make a movie based on a video game, the video game NEEDS action and a story line.
First off, if they are going to make this live action, this should be a school play, not a movie. Second shouldn't the action be killing all the monsters, and the storyline being trapped in the blocky world by Herobrine and trying to kill an Ender Dragon so that you can escape and tell Notch you found his dead brother? Like I said, if they were going to be live action, it should be like Tron, but instead of live action all the way through, they should make it so that its live action in the beginning, and when Herobrine traps the gamer in the blocky world its animated like Bootstrap Buckaroo's Videos, and finally live action when the gamer is freed from Herobrine's curse. Listen if anyone tries to troll me because I said Herobrine 4 times, I won't stand for it.
Im guessing it's gonna be animated. Plus this movie might even make minecraft more popular, also it will give Mojang some big bucks, I'm talking BIG! Anyways, if it comes out, people are gonna get minecraft, which will increase the MC community, and hopefully gaining more players we can be number 2 in the list of top selling video games, now THAT would be cool!
Ok anything on Movie Insider or IMDb that could possibly lead us to believe its live action?
Read it and you will see
If they do live action, make it so that Minecraft stays animated but there would be people outside Minecraft. Normal city normal life, whatever, and maybe instead of master builders, there should be master crafters, Steve, supposedly is one of those.
I hate to break it, but unless they use Steve and his skin as the star, it won't be as funny as can be.
The Robot Police couldn't find Emmett in their computer systems cause he looked too generic. The Emmett in the Minecraft Movie Trailer was anything BUT generic. But Steve is the most generic and is the default. It is one of the most common skins in X360 version.
Well first off, you might be right. Second, X360? what about all the other platforms? Steve on PS3, unless you purchase skin packs, is the most popular. Pocket Edition, you would have to have Block Launcher Pro just to change your skin, Computer, you have to buy all the skins, off the internet unless you had an app that could allow you to customize you skin, plus Minecraft is anything but generic, that's why he is anything but, although I can safely conclude that if Steve stars in this one, they should have enough to put in CaptainSparklez, SkyDoesMinecraft, and others.
