((THE FUTURE: The following is a news article found hidden within the ruins of New City, the city of fabled origins.))
Residents of New City were astonished as it stalked their cows, plagued their crops, and devastated the local ocelot population. Seen here in this photographic is a picture of what can only be described as 'obscure' due the blurry and inconsistent nature of photography. Local bum, Arnsfield Dewhammer, is quoted as saying "What in the forest is that thing!?" Dewhammer was later arrested for lewd conduct and drunkeness, aka 'peeing in the pond'.
It's Mine, No It's Mine! Mine, Not Yours!
The three-tiered mining hall was completed today with three, count them, three, not four, mining directions, delving twenty-five cubes below surface. Castor Gilweed, of residence Four-Five-Zero in the mining district, along with Billygoat Gums of Residence Four-Five-One next door has these pertinent colaborations, saying quote "You won't find us getting any deeper until we find a stronger material than leather!" says Gilweed and "Yeah, buddy, I almost got knocked out by falling gravel going anything below twenty-six cubes!" says Gums.

Reporter Anne McCaffery, reporting to you live from New City, KSTF 43: "This just in ladies and gentleman, locals from all across New City have reported sightings of a mysterious craft hovering over the tree tops. Could it be that New City has indeed been visited by aliens, that is the right word, correct? Reporter Bob Mottman has the inside scoop."
--The moniter shows Bob Mottman-- "Yes, Anne, it is indeed true we have most definately have confirmed truth that we may have indeed been visited by a mysterious being, what I am about to show you may shock you, so I warn you, if you have any children watching right now, that you keep them close and have your tin-foil at the ready. Muuca has the footage. Muuca?"
--Bob continues to report-- "As you can see it is what appears to be a wooden spacecraft of some sort, hovering merely two cubes above the tallest tree just above the Jungle House to the left. It was only there for a second, says local, Ray Mon, saying, and I quote, 'It went whoosh! And then it was gone!'. Now what we assume that it was, but are not entirely certain, is that this alien visitor may have been interested in the exploding new population of cows and came to investigate, this is of course speculation, as the scene is, as you can see, still developing. Back to you, Anne."
--Anne can now be seen on the moniter-- "Thank you, Bob, that is indeed quite the mysterious story! In other news: Cows! We have cows!"
I needed somewhere to build the market district. After I decided the space between the farming district and the mining district was going to be better suited as the city center, I looked upon a spruce forest. It was coming down.
The forest in question when I started.
You must be pretty scary for those trees to run away from you like that!
I haven't made too much progress since last weekend I was on vacation for the Fourth, but what I did get done took absolutely forever.
I heard something over in the Mage Tower's direction. I wonder what it could be.
Oh, they just made it FLOAT! It's gotta be said, this was a nightmare to pull off. With no jetpack. Or modular powersuit.
And now much tamer buildings, the mining district.
The almost complete warehouse with the farming district in the background.
I don't recommend building something just to tear it down. It's very tedious, especially when you have to build the land to place it on too. Soon to get started, the marketing district!
