Simplistic Clean texture pack, that will immerse you in a cartoony world while you play.
Here's some screenshots to tease you all till you download it and try it ;P

This is my first texture pack, so any and all feedback and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged. Also I hope to maintain this texture pack on a regular basis, even posting updates between new content, as I revisit old blocks with new ideas.
Looks good! I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
You should also change the name. The name Newcraft doesn't attract much attention.
Other than that, well done!
EDIT: How long did this take you?
I gotta be honest, I looked at the name and came here figuring it would be terrible, but I actually kinda like it. It's sort of giving me a strange feeling. It's like Marmite You expect you won't like it, and perhaps are slightly put off by the taste (or the fact that it's a simple pack) then you take another lick (or look) and another, and well you end up really liking it :). I hope i'm not coming across the wrong way lol I am a bit tired.
What I'm trying to say is I do like it. Here are my suggestions though. Change the name, or don't, but I have a feeling it will attract more flaming than this pack deserves. Add more screenies, and remove the canopy. It's a beautiful screenshot, but it tells me absolutely nothing about the textures. Again, I believe this will attract some flaming. Finally, I am not a huge fan of the stove or dispensers. Your textures, while not straying too far from default, have a very distinct feel to them, and I'm not sure these textures fit. I think they are much closer to default than your personal style.
Of course, that is my advice w/out having downloaded the pack. I plan on giving this an official try tomorrow. It is just a bit too late for me to get on Minecraft atm. Nice to see a simple pack that really reflects effort and creativity.

It took a span of about 2 months starting with the default texture pack, then drawing new textrues over them, also I may revisit the name later on.

First thank you for the compliment on the pack, second I may revisit the name later, I know its not exactly the best fit for it... and for furnaces and dispensers, I'll revisit them shortly, I made them look sorta like the material they were made from, while still having decorative sides on them, sadly I couldn't put a different decorative on the dispenser as the furnace, and I will upload some more screenshots... reason I put canopy one was to show off what a friend had built cause it looked kinda impressive, but I understand what you mean about it not showing anything about the texture pack, aside from how the sun looks
Thank you all for your feedback, and sorry I have this posted 2 times... I have no idea what happened, somehow it duplicated my original one.(Note: This is my original post)
Sorry about that, I don't know what happened, I only posted it once, but somehow it duplicated it on me, this is the main one though, so please post anything here instead.
This looks nice, creative. I especially like how you incorporated some aspects of the default (jungle leaves, tnt) into your own style...really nice!
Thank you, and yes that's sorta what I was aiming for with it, I didn't want to stray super far from the original textures but I wanted to clean them up and add a new style to them, where I could.
The poll for weather or not to edit the glass has finished, with keeping the current look of NewCraft glass as the winner, so tomorrow I'll be posting a new update (without changing the glass) but including a few blocks I've redone.
The new update for NewCraft is ready, aside from a "glitch" with zombie pigmen everything should be working for the new snapshot 12w36a, (refer to the first post on this thread for what I'm talking about). If anyone finds any bugs, please let me know so I can address them as soon as I can.
Ok this is going to sound stupid but today was the first time I've seen my texture pack while using optifine which enabled my custom water and lava files I'd had in my pack, and instantly I was like, "OMG this is what I've been making people suffer through for water and lava while using hd mods with my texture pack?" I know, I'm a horrible person, so as it stands right now, I've reverted the textures for water and lava back to the default texture pack till I can get some of my own done for it, figured its better than making people continue to suffer If anyone finds any other bugs or has any feedback on the texture pack, make sure you post it here so I can address it
Hey everyone, sorry for such a long span without any update lately, I've been working on a big project for the texture pack. It's something I'm sure alot of you have been wanting since I released it, the removal of the borders on the blocks, but there's a bonus... I'm also ramping up the detail of the blocks while I'm doing it, adding more complex look to each block, hopefully I'll have the new version posted next weekend so all of you can give me feedback on if I made the right choice or not :P.
On a side note, due to large amount of time it takes to do upkeep on the texture pack to stay current with snapshots, I won't be updating for snapshots from now on, I'll just do a big update for the actual patch within the week that it comes out. Hopefully this doesn't upset too many of you guys.

Thanks for the input I'll revisit it shortly and see what I can do with it
Thank you, I really appreciate it
Sorry I'd been offline for the night after posting this
Was actually offline for the night, posted this here just like 5 mins before I had to go to sleep XD

The creepers are a modified "troll face" player skin, instead of the original white face, I gave them a green one as a creeper
Thank you for feedback on this, I'll touch them up as soon as I can
Thank you I was hoping people would like how the GUI rework turned out.
Yes this does work for 1.3, thus the "for Minecraft 1.3.X in the post name... just refers to the builds of the game through all of 1.3
Yes compatible for 1.3.2, but it wasn't made just today, it was over a portion of like 2 months, but in anticipation of 1.3, so it was ready
Thank you, I really appreciate it
Thanks it really means alot
