Since i have a Low end laptop (Planning on getting a Desktop ), I've been searching for FPS Boosters (Mods, Tweakers, Texture packs, Etc).
I want to know if these so called Rexture Pack FPS Boosters actually work. (ex: SharpFX, FPS Boosting Resource pack, etc)
I know its a dumb topic, But i really want to know..
No, they don't. Or at least, not particularly well. People with higher-end computers will tout them as giving extra FPS, but lower-end hardware is only likely to see a few more frames per minutes. (yes, minute) To put it another way, the gain is proportional to your hardware in most cases. Better hardware = more FPS gain which obviously isn't useful to you at the moment.
Your best bet is to install Optifine and just turn off everything you can stand to be without. Set all of the performance options to fast, turn off clouds, etc. In the vast majority of cases, that WILL improve your performance.
If you want to use a resource pack to try to help with your performance, look for one that's a lower resolution than the default 16x. Most "FPS Boosters" use some trick that the creator has deluded themselves into thinking will help like having all blocks a single color, yet they still leave them at 16x resolution. If you want to improve performance, you need to reduce the amount of graphics memory in use which means looking for an 8x or 4x pack. They're rare, but they do exist. Most of them are garbage, though, so take your time and look through several before picking one.
Even a lower-resolution pack will only help you performance so much. Again, Optifine is always going to be more useful than anything on the resource pack side.

I hope that helps you.
