Alright, first I would like to say that 1.7.2 has alot of bugs and glitches. First one, the music glitch. Whenever me or anyone goes on a game, music comes. then another song. and they go together and make it sound horrible. Second, they said they fixed the glitch where animals escape from fences, but no, they didn't. I always see my animals walk out of the fence, I also made it double high so they wont get out and they still do.
No, we've had enough patience. 1.7.2 was released 25 days ago. It is filled to the brim with obvious errors and game-breaking bugs. A good development team would have pushed a barebones bug-fix within a few days. We have gotten nothing for over 3 weeks. This is not acceptable under any circumstances.
there are allot of very annoying bugs. that are very obvious. but im supprised there are not more based on how much they changed the game. even still its taking WAYYYY to long to fix the simple errors that are happening. they must be doing other things
Yes, it's annoying how many bugs are still in the game, but remember: they rewrote most of the game code, which is why mods such as Bukkit and Optifine are taking so long to update. Also, MineCon! Yes, they should have fixed more before the release, but the reason we haven't gotten 1.7.3 yet is because MineCon was taking up all their time. I'm sure we'll see a bug fix update soon...

i expeced them t release at minecon.i thinkthat would have been ideal. mroe time to fix bugs.
I have never experienced those glitches... Something must be wrong with my Minecraft O.o
go look at some beds and take a close look at a door lol. the handle is on the hinge side thats only some of the issues. i havnt had any "game breaking" bugs but they are very ugly...
Just stop the rage the mojangsters are working hard they just got back from MINECON be greatful for them they work hard on minecraft day and night it sounds like your all just picky. You have to learn to wait.
Textures flipped/mirrored (this is both the door and bed): MC-37106, fix version in the future:
No, we fixed it 5 minute after the release was out in the wild. It will be in the next future release. Be it 1.7.3 or 1.8 that doesn't matter. We always mark the future release as the next major release as we never expect to make a minor one. In this case it is very likely it will just be 1.7.3 as we've also said.
Also we didn't quickly 'shut out mouths about the fix' – we fixed it and then flew out to Minecon, things take a bit of time. You'll see a snapshot soon with the issue resolved.
New sounds aren't downloading: MCL-1773, not Mojang's problem, blame Amazon.
Sounds playing over each other: MC-35856, not resolved, but assigned to Dinnerbone
Unable to take screenshot with open GUI/chat line: MC-29469, also not resolved, but assigned to Dinnerbone.
io.netty error: MC-34947, not resolved, assigned to Grum
If you notice any others, feel free to point them out, but as you can see, they're working on it. Have at least a little bit of patience, you've been waiting only 25 days, most of those days having been spent at or coming back from Minecon. Calm down, whining will do nothing to help.

The texture and music bugs arent such a big problem IMHO, just turn themusic off (in fact i generally play with the music off all the time) and about the textures, i know they might be hard to ignore but isnt something that makes the game unplayable, hopefully its going to be solved soon, just as the other bugs.

Downgrade back to a stable version then. You paid for the original game. Nothing more. Free, easily reversible updates are just a bonus. Your complaining won't make them work any faster.

For me the music problem is a big problem because I kinda like the music... But so far I haven't experienced that bug so everything is okay ^^
Still, the music overlap has a solution: playing with the music off. My point is that its not a gramebreaking bug, you still can play... maybe not how you like to play it still doesnt affects your gameplay, maybe just less "comfortable". What i do, since i always play with music off is to go to youtube and put some music... im sure theres some videos with minecraft music.. you could make a playlist... i just put some music i like (not minecraft) or put a show and i listen to it and sometimes i watch it for a while and keep playing minecraft.
Here i found a playlist with minecraft discs music:

No. I paid for this game and all future updates. I have the right to expect them to be stable. The availability to revert to an older version is not an excuse for developer incompetence.

Saying you are entitled to updates does not make it so.

Just because they say I don't have the right to future updates doesn't make it true. Especially as far as laws are concerned. Double especially if the update causes errors so bad, I cannot progress far enough into the launcher to even revert the program to 1.6.4 like some people have been reporting.
Go look through the bug reporting threads yourself. There are plenty of people complaining about 1.7.2 breaking the launcher or causing blocks to become invisible.

Breaking the launcher is certainly a legitimate complaint. After all, it is preventing you from playing the version you paid for, and so are entitled to. I apologize, I did not know that was your problem. As for bugs in the game itself, there are no laws that say free, bonus updates must meet any quality.

No harm done. I admit, I am not entitled to any actual updates, but I would certainly wish that if updates are released, that they actually work properly.
