When you press Ctrl+B it activates the text-to-speech translator, but I have encountered an issue, when you say something, it says the player's name. For example, my Minecraft username is AxeBoyd123, so if I say "Hello everybody." the translator says "AxeBoyd123 hello everybody." I was wondering if there was any workaround for this.
are you just not wanting to hear the speaker's name at all, or are you wanting it to be clearer in format (ie, AxeBoyd123 says ...)? TTS translaters are there for the benefit of blind people who cannot see the written text, so just having it say what was chatted and not who it was from seems to me like it would be a really, REALLY bad change since the source is in text (therefore, there'd be no context to determine who said what).
If you're annoyed by the bad grammar, I suppose you could always start your chats with "says ".
how are blind people even supposed to play Minecraft in the first place?
I play on a realms server owned by a friend who is legally blind (the "really crappy eyesight" kind, not the "literally cannot see anything" kind). She does play with us, but often can't read on-screen text unless it's magnified. She does have special computer screens that magnify everything for this reason.
Text-to-speech would also be useful for someone like myself, who can see perfectly well, but tends to focus so much on what I'm doing that I frequently simply don't notice the chat messages popping up on the bottom of the screen.
Kinda curious now now the TTS program will view my all-one-word, all-lower-case username. Mart In Theme SS? Martin Themes S? Mar Tint Heme SS?

Is anyone else curious on how this will act on a server where a lot of people are talking at once. I'd imagine it'd fall behind, or just stop in middle of speech to start the next one. Hmm... I wonder of they're doing anything to go around this.
