I don't see why it is so hard to get survival mode on pi, yu simply need to save MCPE the latest version on a USB and then put it on the pi and then whala, you have surv on pi, I don't see why it is so hard but also you could program java on it and then play the PC version on pi, I'd really like someone to do this, I don't know anything about programming so please no hate, I'm not insulting anyone or forcing anyone to do anything but I was just wondering lol
Like nTrud3r said, but more informatively, it's a programming thing. The Pi edition, PC edition and Pocket edition are all very different programs made in very different ways, just for the same result. A world file on the PC is saved in a very different way to one on the Pi edition. Same with the Pocket edition. This means that the Pi edition will only work using Pi edition worlds, as it can only read those worlds. Pasting a pocket or PC edition world into a folder will give you a whole lot of nothing, as the program doesn't know that that file is supposed to be a world. Even if it did, it would bug out when you get on anyway.
