I respect the fact that he's the president... but why the heck would you shake his hand? Oh ok you're a democrat.
I'd advise you to not jump to conclusions, as I would not necessarily consider myself a democrat. In fact, I don't really know what I *am* -- I suppose you could consider me moderate? -- I'm not too worried about it. In the end, it's just plain cool to meet someone who is so globally influential & important. Can't that be enough?
That makes no sense. Not approving of what he's done while president and liking him as a person, or at least respecting him for being the president are two completely different things.

Penn and Teller. I was at their show in Vegas and Teller was a few feet from me when they were interacting with the crowd. Then after the show they wait outside to take pictures and talk to people, it was pretty awesome.
I was born 3 miles from where they shot the movie Rambo does that count?

Oh, absolutely! It was actually someone else who discovered the first picture, but after that, I found myself scouring the internet for more -- each new picture was such a thrilling discovery! Haha.
My latest find was actually me driving. I'm the blue car center screen!
Fun fact: I've seen Taylor Swift nearly a dozen times in person but one time in particular was also when I saw George HW Bush (senior). He had come to see her at a sort of impromptu outdoor concert down the street from his summer house in Maine and was sitting quite close to me.
I thought I should throw this in. This was a picture I took of Taylor that day. George HW Bush was off to the left sitting in a folding chair.
It probably won't make sense except to those of you from New Zealand but Richie McCaw (the All Blacks captain) lives around the corner from me and I saw David Bane in the supermarket once. And I shook hands with the current Governor General of New Zealand (when he was head of the Defence Force).

I saw Jennifer Lopez at a Dylan's Candy Bar in LA one time. My mom and grandmother also saw Jane Lynch at a Trader Joe's. Michelle Obama also came to my middle school 2 years ago to give some healthy food award thing.
I met Crooked I [Note: Hes from a band Called ''Slaughterhouse''] A few years back. He went to my Dad's house, because he and my dad are friends. It was cool.
Also, I had an Olympic Gold Start cyclist come to my school, and I shook her hand.
Met Pat Summit a few years back. Very nice lady. I've gone to a couple of wrestling shows, so all the wrestlers that were there. And I'm going to see an Eric Clapton concert in May, so I guess that counts

I held a conversation with him for at least 10 minutes, it was unsurprisingly about the possibility of alien life.

I wanted to be one of the cool kids.
Also got to see late night talk show host Craig Ferguson.

The presidential manner is a political opinion, while being a brony is a personal liking of a show.
I totally respect your opinion.
You can't just say that and expect us not to ask what they were about!
