Skype is amazing for people who simply want to chat. It's basically the replacement of the old MSN Messenger. It obvious is not as good as Teamspeak or Mumble for gaming (delay, memory, etc), but it's easy to set up, and common for the average gamer.

If they want a simple way they'd use a simple program. Not a poorly constructed program which only still exists from its inertia.
For the love of god, if you're really that butthurt that Skype is the most popular, then just stop using it. Go over to your ghosttown mumble or teamspeak.

Nope. I just don't like stuff that doesn't work well.
I feel like it's important to note that Skype is the only one idling right now, the rest are in active use.
And this is purely comparing memory usage.
