I tend to try to always be polite and not step on any toes, but that is more a quirk of my personality than how I'd behave differently as newly-spawned. I am especially careful in any new forum I join--moreso than usual.
Yeah I know the feeling,I've been here for a year, but I still feel I need to learn more about this forum. Also I was a totally different person when I first joined.
It was a fine March or whatever 2012. I had just been locked out of my old account (ELLAMELLA123) I had to make a new one. Already knowing all the posts, and latest things, it didn't take me long to find my place. I had 100 posts by the end of the week. 1year later, still casually posting on the forums

i love pancake at the disco. i love their song "I like skin now marry me" and brendon theory is so hot
The only reason I created this account on the Forums was to post one single post - a Minecraft server host review. And then I realized that using the Forums was really fun, found out about OT (and more specifically, the chat thread) after about 140 posts, and look where I am now.
In the hosting subsection, where I started out, nobody really cares about post counts. So being "Newly Spawned" or "Out of the Water" really didn't mean much to me.
I started out with some great ideas on googiesh's thread "New Enchantments" and became a user with a good reputation right off the bat. It was a very good start for me.
Honestly, if you ask me post count means almost nothing. Its not about how many post you have but how well you have contributed with each one. Tell me what is more important:
*Having 1000 posts that have done absolutely nothing, helped no one in any way or contributed to any conversation?
Or
*Having 100 posts that are meaningful, have contributed to some sort of conversation, or helped someone out?
I always tried to make myself look my best. I came around in the summer of '11, so I have 2 years under my belt. I can't really remember what my first posts were, but I remember being up into Minecraft Discussions when I did post. I looked a suggestions mostly, and gave feedback. I remember when I was able to swear all I want on the forum. Sometimes, on other forums, I rarely swear because I fear a ban! It was good times, though.
I thought it was terrible. Just by looking at member titles and seeing that you're new makes some people automatically skip over your posts. So, I decided to make a name for myself on the forums (in a good way) and get to regular posts. That's also why I stopped posting in the "suggestions" forums.
i sucked at english in the beginning too
i can't find my first post either, it's that old lol
Let's just say I'm about to find out.

When.
Took me a tootin' darn while to get people to like me.

Did I mention I just chocked on my hot chocolate reading that?
My grammar use to look like that.

Constantly evolving, reaching further heights.
And I started really weird posts back then.
Even being "Out of the Water" makes you feel inexperienced and noobish.

To be serious though, I don't care about post count like other people in this thread, my main concern is to not come off as if I'm idiotic.
-Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
Decided to take a trip down memory lane and look at my first posts.
What was I thinking.
