I remember I used to draw a lot when I was younger. But as time went on I gradually drew less and less. Full scenes, micro and macro, both turned to abstraction, then gibberish, and then I just didn't any longer. Recently I picked up a pen and started trying to draw a scene accurately, and even though it felt like it had been quite a while, it had a certain flow to it that I didn't expect. Foreign yet familiar.
These days if I create anything, it's usually photoshop. A recent project was fabricating an arm, and adapting to the fact that the lighting on the original was actually incorrect for the angle of the light source. So I had to fabricate lighting in a correct, incorrect way. Guess I haven't entirely lost my "edge" in that respect.
I like drawing. I suppose I'm good for my age, but I'm not amazing. I like to think I improve with each drawing though.
Here's one of my recent drawings, in a spoiler because It's big:
Just as minecraft2462 does, I use graphite and paper. It's much easier with static noise in the background (I have tinnitus). The way the pencil is held is much easier for me than the mouse. I don't exactly know if I could be considered good or not. I'd upload some pictures but my phone is ten years old and doesn't connect to my modern computer. People say that I am good. My most recent was a DBZ-esque picture. I usually use a reference, whether it's in my field of vision or in my mind, though I am better when it's in my field of vision. I think that my betters were a picture of Applejack from MLP (this wasn't for me, it was for a friend, brony-haters) and a picture of a bunny with pants on spraying paint from cans, which is ironic coming from me.

I have discovered a truly remarkable proof of this, which this margin is too small to contain.

I used to do a lot of digital artwork but haven't done anything for a really long time. I also have a bad habit of starting things and not finishing them. Much like this wolf realism I started 4 years ago...
I really enjoy drawing and am going to try and make an effort to do more of it this summer if I am not too busy.
I find myself starting to get the hand of drawing but I wouldn't call myself an full on master yet.

Sounds odd, but hey.
This is something I've drawn.
It's not that great though.
And here we have proof of a future artist.
Of course I draw.
