Did you not read my above post? It's not like that everywhere.
Not everywhere and majority are two things that just can't get along.
Many(not all, not most) women abuse the ever loving sodomizing **** out of our legal system, I have seen it happen to my friends, my family. This fact does not change whether it be over a child or justified use of force. I don't care what state you are in, in court women seem to be given favor despite what the written legislature says.

Yes, but this is Texas we are talking about: The state that has executed more people [inmates] than any other (Except Virginia apparently. (Overall)) state, including women.

Ah hell I should move back there, for more than three months this time. Texas seems to have this "proper functionality" thing down pretty well.

It doesn't matter whether I support or object to the subject at hand, if your argument is stupid I am against you.
If all of these people were on the jury, he would be innocent in a heartbeat.
(I think He's very well justified.)
Double standards are very common in today's society, especially in male and female cases. The legal system is very much easier on women than on men. If a man were to murder 3 people, he would get the death sentence. If a woman were to murder 3 people in the same way, she would probably get 25-life.

I'm not sure why people think men are so much more incapable of change than women.

Because psychologically, we (Being those [males] who are capable of violent crimes.) ARE less capable of change (Change being, change in behavior.)
They have removed whole diagnoses from the DSM because of this reason and the fact that males mostly fit the criteria (See: Sadistic Personality Type*).

Studies suggest this, but what about the "minority"?
If we are capable, we shouldn't get more punishment than necessary, and certainly not more than a woman in the same boat.

"We have a good man and a bad man inside of us, which ever one we feed the most, gets stronger and takes over the weaker one" -Johnny Cash
Women rarely change, they just claim they want to and will. Then they do the same thing over again.
This invalidates capacity for change based on gender. As far as I've seen, men have a higher capacity for change because society is run around shame, shame directly assaults self image and honor.

And that means more to a male, correct?

I wasn't really basing maturity on age, it's just Iv'e seen loads of immature brats on there.
The Bungie forums are actually quite amusing, and have lots of amazing members, like every forum does.
But 4chan (some portions) is catered to a specific kind of person.

You see, this is a good idea, but this world is ****ed up.
Our failure of co-existence will lead to the eventual fall of humanity.

From my experience, I would say a sense of honor is typically held much higher in males. As well as it bearing more credence to life in general.

He went to a party with drugs, and alchohol.
Somalia. Because it puts the ARRRR in anarchy! DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOOH.
But knowing the sexist courts, he'll be in prison quickly.
He was technically already breaking the law.
The only reason this is, is because women are generally weaker than males.
If a man was stealing money from him, and got punched this wouldn't even make it to court.
This is why around 40% of abusive relationships are the men being abused, riiiiiiiiight?
