Human digestive system is not capable of providing all the necessary nutrients from purely herbivorous diet.
Add a bit (not too small bit) of meat to the veggies and I'll take that approach.
This is more of a "what-if" scenario, rather than a realistic one.
The question is more like:
If it was possible to live off of a herbivorous diet, and you had to pick between fruits or vegetables, what would you pick?
But I figured it had that implied meaning, and people would catch wind of it.
Lol, I don't think we really need to have a proper definition of "fruit"... this was really intended to be a basic question. Just, fruit. Whatever is generally accepted as a 'fruit.'
Apples
Bananas
Watermelon
Grapefruit
Oranges
Strawberries
etc.
I didn't think there really would be a need to have to define things in a simplistic hypothetical question like this one

Well, some things like, tomatoes and peppers, are considered a fruit. Also potatoes I believe are considered roots.
Fruit. I've always thought to myself "If I could I would probably just live of fruit" or something similar. If you compared the amount of fruit I like to the amount of vegetables I like the difference would be clear.
I love both of them... Though I detest potatoes outside of chip format (which I don't eat often anyway, I get sick of them pretty quick).
I'd probably vote fruit... Just because berries are classified as fruit and I love berries.
Favourite vegetables would be carrot (cliche I know), broccoli and garden peas. Seriously, baby carrot fresh from your own garden is soooo good. Same with sweet peas. Mmmm...
If you had to only eat one for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?
I'd probably pick fruit.
I like far more fruits than vegetables so, yea, more variety.

Yes it can, not as easily, but it absolutely can.
OT: I'd choose fruits, just because of apples, I wouldn't be able to survive without apples.
This is wrong, but whatever.
What definition of fruit are we using as well?

I don't eat any vegetables.
(Unless you count corn as a vegetable.)
Oooh, forgot about carrots and corn... I think corn would technically be a fruit though. Are the kernels seeds? If so then it's a fruit.
I love dem durians and bananas.
