I remember back in middle/high school P.E. one my tech geek friends and I would pass all the "jocks" right out of the gate. After about a mile and a half we would lap them on the quarter mile track. After 15 minutes, at our peak, we'd have done 2 and 1/8 miles. We should have done track, but who can be arsed? We had a duty to play Starcraft and Halo 2. And fulfill that duty, we did!

I agree somewhat, a lot of people in my class, I'm speaking past tense here as I am 5 years out of high school, would whine and whine about doing the mile, now mind you, I have mild asthma, I was a two pack a day smoker back then. I could still do close to a 7 minute mile and people would still try to **** on me for being out of shape, not unhealthy, they would say I was out of shape because I ate processed foods and smoked. I didn't complain once. So I ask, what the hell were they whining about?
A guy with an avatar from a little girls show is calling kids who lack athletic ability a wuss.......haha. I'm not very athletic myself but I have brains to make up for it.

Im not really worried about the physical condition of the new generation. (not YET). I'm just really worried about mental status. Eventually music won't have words, and 12 year olds will worry about the sizes of their breasts and muscles. Now I'm not saying that America isn't overweight. It's just not the new generation's fault entirely.
Also for me, in school (which has been a while but nevermind), I hated PE. I always got hurt. -Always.- I'm the only person I've ever heard of who broke their wrist running track in gym class. I had my arms wrenched so violently during a game of Red Rover that I was sobbing by the end of the game. I nearly had my nose broken by a softball. Oh and let's not forget during a some sort of game in PE in 2nd grade, a classmate ran across the gym, slid toward me and fell over me (I was sitting on the sidelines), permanently screwing up my spine.
Is it any freaking wonder I was willing to do almost anything to get out of gym class?
As for running laps, I often found myself wheezing, in miserable pain and in tears, dead-last trying to finish the forced run/walk because the gym teachers wouldn't allow anyone to go in until everyone had finished.
Turns out? I spent my childhood with undiagnosed asthma.
Do try to keep in mind that not all people who are less-than-athletic are lazy.
anyways, ive always been really skinny my entire life, and i usually sucked at running tests because i simpely didn't have any muscle.
now im still skinny, still suck at running, but who cares about that when you do climbing as a sport.
Tell me one species that can run a straight 100 miles without stopping or even 20. We evolved to be able to run down any animal when early humans needed food, even if it took days. All you have to do is train for it.
Some dogs, wolves (and bears?) can run for hours, never stopping. Humans are clearly not superior. We survived only because we had the ability to use weapons that would balance our physical weakness.
Camels can walk 80 miles a day without stopping, eat 4 pounds of grass and start over.

I live next to where the western states 100 is held,it is one of the hardest races in the world. it is 100 miles of mountainous terrain with thousands of feet of elevation change. People run it nonstop in under 20 hours. No animal can do that.

Sled dogs can beat out any human for endurance running.

THIS, is the problem with today's society...
I agree with you entirely, but its kinda sad when its coming from someone (you) who is a fan of a television show meant for little girls.
Is that even relevant?
It doesn't matter whether I support or object to the subject at hand, if your argument is stupid I am against you.

For example, in english class:
"My pen is in my locker."
What someone said: OMG LOL PEN-IS IT'S A PENIS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
I don't belong on this planet of idiots.
Yes, we are actually. A human can outrun a horse in the long run.
