I heard the playstation 4 was coming out at the end of this year. I should be happy but I'm not because I'm still having tons of fun with my ps3. Playing games like Skyrim, Uncharted and I want them to last a long time after this. Also looking forward to Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2 and many more. I don't want to pay another 1000 bucks just to get another gamestation. Heck I only got my ps3 3 years ago. What do you guys think of this. And for the xbox 720 people what do you think of that?
What would they release in it? There really hasn't been anything else you could do with it besides upgrade it's performance slightly. They tried to go with motion gaming, but that failed up the through the roof.
I still have fun with my ps2 and will not under any circumstances encourage what the gaming industry is doing with consoles. Making a new one every year is ridiculous.

Also, pc master race.
There's actually a trend that Playstation did for a while, where they released one console every 6 years, but now it appears they're breaking that trend with the PS4, the only way it would not break would be if they released the PS4 this year, which I highly doubt.
PS1:1994 PS2:2000 PS3:2006 see it?
Nintendo releases their consoles in a similar timespan, most even taking longer than 6 years to be released.
NES:1983 SNES:1990 Nintendo 64:1996 Gamecube:2001 Wii:2006 WiiU:2012
So basically your statement about them releasing a new console every year was completely false, but I think you knew that. One more thing before I go, nobody is making you buy a new console every time a new one comes out, but for those of us that do want one, we get to have one every 6 or so years.

Haven't heard a lot about the PS4, but I know that I'm not getting any of the next gene consols.
I have a 360, wii, and 3ds and the last thing I'll buy is a PS3.
After that I'm done with newer video games.
