Good for you. It is a good idea to feel that way, since the government doesn't have an large effect on your life, and who runs it is a no-issue. You can go back to playing CoD or something, knowing that your apathy is ok, and in no way harmful to the world.
And you will sit and watch fox news/CNN and actually think that is how the world works.
Yes I do. And I hate being American. Why is there a whole thread about this when people here live all over the world?
You're just an idiot. And you think I'm stupid. Whatever.
Ah, I see. No facts or even claims to back up your statement. Would it be too presumptuous to say that your image of England is skewed by some hollywoodized fantasy?
Why is it everyone always wonders about who will run and who will win rather than who should?
We don't need another Obama, or Bush, or Clinton, or Lincoln, or Washington, or any president we have already had. We need a president who is going to run and say right out "I am only going to be in for one term, and I will get done as much as I can that needs to be done without any plans for re-election." I want to see a president who will be hated by the end of his term because he didn't do what was popular or what a party said, but instead did what was necessary to make the country better.
I want to see a person with no background in politics in office. I want to see a president who is not afraid to tell another national leader to just shut the f*** up when it is necessary. I want to see a president who will get taxes to increase not just for the rich, or for the poor, but for everyone. Everyone pays a certain amount based on their income, no exceptions, no exemptions, no deductions.
Basically, I want to see the John McClane of presidents.
He's going to win just because Osama was killed under his legislation. That's all you need, just one war-time major assassination, then you're safe for a second term.
And you will sit and watch fox news/CNN and actually think that is how the world works.
Who's Obama?
Those two channels are not my main source of news. I tend to listen to Npr, and read Google news.
Meanwhile, you can't even recognize obvious sarcasm.
Haha, look at the comments and dislikes. It's like Rebecca Black all over again, *points to my signature*
I think you missed the meaning of my post. Try again.
Your post had a point? I must have missed it.
Because you live there.
That's okay, everyone makes mistakes after all.
Yes, It's my fault.
If I had a choice I would live in England or Scotland. NOT the dumb US.
I'm sure there is enough blame to go around.
In what way are those places so much better, politics wise.
How is the UK any better?
She doesn't know about politics.
Yes I do. And I hate being American. Why is there a whole thread about this when people here live all over the world?

It just is.
I never said I cared about politics there.
