Quoting things is one of the most obnoxious and socially awkward behaviors possible. It is only acceptable if you know for a 100% fact that the person will get it and it is actually funny (not just funny in your head).
My boy, these references are what all true forum-goers strive for!

"Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce; We will send unto them... only you."
Colored text indicates in-character statements/actions. Because Forum Games has basically just been a big open RP for a long time now and it's the only place I ever post anymore, when I post at all.
I quoted the Scout before in the hallways when someone tripped and everyone else behind him kept trying to step over him, then tripping as well.
"You guys are all like a car crash in slow motion. It's like I'm watching you all fly through a windshield!"

Its like going to a police station telling them how you stole a purse and demonstrating it, while arguing the benefits of it. You'd still go to jail because you're an idiot.
Memes occasionally infiltrate normal conversation, but for the most part, it's sane. It's a sad tale when I'm talking to a cute girl and occasionally say something along the lines of "Yeah, that football game was packed, there had to be over 9000 people there in the stands...". "Over 9000" is an ages-old meme that I am entirely annoyed with, but I can't drop it. It has seemed to replace anything meaning "a large amount" for me.

Agreed. Those kids that on the drop of the hat will quote something angers me to no end.
An example: Back in high school, our English teacher said something about the Salem Witch Trials.
Then, in pure Monty Python fashion, a jumped cloud of "does it float like a duck?" or something to that effect rises from 10 or so people. It was almost embarrassing.
Also, I call people "Meatbag" alot. Thumbs up to who gets the reference.
HK-47 first Knights of the old republic game.
Best character from videogames to quote
Anyways beside from the shrewd pony quote I throw in every now and then (e.g I end some arguements with: "Great now I have to go find a trombone!")
I only usually quote TF2, KOTOR, and the occasional Freelancer quote I just love it when King says about breaking into Alaska NOT being a suicide mission.
I also slip in How to Annoy People quotes (ie Sir you need to calm down.)
"Sandvich"
"It is a spy!"
"We must all each bacon sandvich!"
I cave a lot myself. NSS? Grotto? Yes to both for me. My grotto is stationed in Houston.
As for quotes I use irl? Lots and lots of Starcraft/Frozen Throne.
Get in car? "DESTINATION?" "A-FFIRIMATIVE!"
Get cut off by that dude in the BMW? "Goddamn cheeser."
