I went away for the weekend with a bunch of mates and returned to find my parents had moved to the other side of the country!
Luckily I knew this was happening, so I was 95% moved out myself. :wink.gif:
It's a little scary at first, but you soon come to realise that it's the best thing you can do. The sense of freedom and control is wonderful. As long as you're financially OK, and can cook a simple meal or 3 you won't regret spreading your wings and setting out on your own.

I'm 16 and I moved out with 11. Currently I'm living in Austria in a boarding school while my parents work in China. Well I was quite sad but didn't cry. My parents did.

Not really. I love my parents (although my mum died a few years back now), but I could never move back in with my Dad now (mind you I'm now in my 40s, so it would be a little sad to be living with my parents at my age). It didn't take long at all to adjust and like having my own freedom, even though the first place I had was tiny and crap.
I am master in my own home. I want to do something, I do it. I don't want to do something, it doesn't get done.
Ah i'm moving out in the next week with my gf,so I don't know, but I i'm quite emotional so i'm going to cry and my dad's going to call me wuss only to start crying himself.
Yes,i'm 18 and I still live with my parents,got a problem?
I was gone for three years, came back, and somehow ended up being the only person with a job so I basically support everybody. It's ridiculous when a somebody has to tell their parents to get a job. Should have never come back, in hindsight.
But anyway when I did leave my Mother insisted I phone every bloody day. I compromised it down to every few days. I was homesick for a while, but I managed and eventually that went away.
as of now im living with my folks for the summer but i will be headed back to arizona soon. it wasnt bad for me to move out. i was more excited than anything else, my mother didnt take it so well
Did they cry? Did you cry? What happened?

Do you miss living with your parents?

I'm in a love-hate relationship with my parents.
