So, I moved today.
From Ponte Vedra, Florida, where the ocean is only five minutes away and everything is new and fancy
To Rock Hill, South Carolina, where the buildings are old, small, ugly, and cramped.
And we have the money to stay in Florida.
Right now, I'm with my family in a tiny micro house that just wasn't made for six people.
It can't be more than 900 square feet, and it may be much less than that. Its got three bedrooms and one living room/kitchen.
Sort of like those tiny houses you see in rural areas sometimes.
But, yeah, its tiny and cramped.
My mom tried to be optimistic and called it "cozy".
But its not cozy.
Its a small ugly green home.
We brought everything we needed from our house that we haven't sold yet to this tiny little thing.
I guess people here are nicer, but it'll take some getting used to.
I plan on moving back to Ponte Vedra someday, if I ever get the money.
So, guys and girls, have you all ever moved before?

That sucks. I'd hate to leave an ocean side house. Good luck with getting money to move back.
I've never moved out of the state I currently live in and the places I have moved to aren't any smaller homes that the previous or in any rural area so I don't know how you feel.
Ive moved at least 5 times in my life and im 15. First house was a small apartment, all the other ones were 2 stories.
Switched schools at least 7 times as well.
Meh

i moved from maryland where the cheasapeke bay was short drive away and the striper's spring run was abesolutely amazing, to mason wisconsin
it was an ok move, i guess. i met lots of new people and became more outdoorsy and all that good stuff. i hunt now for turkeys, deer, and small pesky rodents (chipmunks, squirrels). i still prefer maryland's fishing though, i have yet to hook another 28 inch ocean running fish(derp, none in lake superior) nor have i had one fight like one. but the other stuff as well as camping and all that makes up for it i guess :tongue.gif: my brother moved back out east though, i miss him even though he visits every so often
900 square feet? Try not being a spoiled rich kid. I live graciously in a 700 sqft house with one level with two other people. Rich kids like you **** me off.
TL;DR **** you deal with it.

Two other people?
I'm with five other people, and two dogs (labs).
And no, this is not the first time I've moved.
Washington DC to Alabama
Alabama to South Carolina
South Carolina to Ponte Vedra
Now, Ponte Vedra to South Carolina.

It's a huge house, though. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and only four people. Huge. But old. As in, built in the Victorian era. That old.
We have 6 family member's in our family and we didn't have anything but public television on a TV that was about 10 inches big.
So suck it up.
Switched schools at least 7 times as well.

Sounds... Cozy...
I'm just kidding, being alone in an apartment ain't so bad especially when you're on your own (from what I've heard) but with other people it sucks...
Also, why did you move?
My dad found out he could do the same job for more money up here. Not that much more, anyways...
Ponte Vedra: 26,728 people
Rock Hill: 71,154
Wow... that sucks.
