I play guitar, bass, and cello. I've played the cello for the longest time. Then I decided to play the bass. Then guitar. I hope to learn many more instruments in the future.
Does it really matter if you play an acoustic, or electric guitar? It's not like they're different styles, or different instruments, I'm wondering why everyone is like "Electric Guitar!", "Acoustic guitar!"
Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Drums, Bongos, Cajon Drums, Keyboard, Bouzouki, Recorder, and I produce songs on GarageBand :biggrin.gif:

Acoustic and Electric are designed for different styles of play.

I live on a Planet Called Omicron Persei 8, where I am constantly battling sexual endeavors with the alien race that lives here.
I understand that, but, they are guitars none the less, they play the same things, hell, I played acoustic songs with my electric.
Yes, they are guitars nonetheless, but they are designed differently- and this is why we call them acoustic, and electric. They are different in many ways, and you always specify what kind of guitar you play.

So are you also against me specifying a "djembe drum" instead of just saying I play drums? If so, your reasoning is pretty ridiculous.
Meh, I guess I see both of your points, even though they 'essentially' do the same things, they are different styles, 'different' being the key word...
Do you play an instrument?
I play guitar, I'm awesome.
