I've recently been getting really addicted to the dubstep genre and was hoping you guys had some good recommendations and such. I know there was some posts in a birthday thread here recently, but I just wanted to start a thread devoted to the genre.
Feel free to post videos or just name some good DJs that you know of. I'm pretty new to the genre, so I don't even know any of the popular DJs.
Thanks for the replies so far. I subscribed to UKFDubstep. They seem to have a lot of good stuff on their channel. It's pretty much all I listen to lately, so once I get deeper, I'll post some videos and such. Gotta give a little to get a little am I right? :wink.gif:
Also, I didn't realize dubstep was like Eve Online. Interesting. lol
I don't like it. It sounds like a retarded crap falling over musical instruments.
Thanks for your opinion. However, I do feel sorry for you. To each his own I guess. I'll continue to listen to it 24/7 and have multiple eargasms. :smile.gif:
I don't like dubstep. It's a musical gimmick analogous to the autotune of bass.
Here's two songs that are the closest to "dubstep" that I listen to:
I agree with you the wobble you hear on a lot of popular dubstep songs is like the autotune of the genre I'm not saying its bad but its different from early dubstep that wasn't centered around
the wobble, drop, or filth.

You can listen to dubstep and have your hypersensitive eardrums stroked.
I require something greater... Something divine...
Something like this: (Spoilered for not being Dubstep.)

Seriously though, I only know a few as I don't like Dubstep. Try searching Inspector Gadget in Youtube, dubstep mode.

Cool, thank you. Figured it was pretty simple.
