I'm going on a school field trip to Washington D.C. today! The trip will last for four days. It was pretty expensive, though...anyway just thought I'd let some of you guys know that actually care... By the way if you have any tips and tricks for living in Washington DC?
I dunno about living, but I had a band trip there! We went to the smithsonian. :3 We had groups, so, my group wanted to go to the Smithsonian, and Dr. Denton's (The Band Teacher) group was wanting to see the D.C. Building, so they had to walk there which took forever.
I <3 my group. If you go to D.C., I recommend checking out the Smithsonian Musuems, specifically the one with rocks. It has a rock collection, and I got to see the worlds largest diamond in there. <3
Go to the Smithsonian air and space, and american history museums, They are fun! Also go and watch and watch the political nut jobs in front of the white house, some of them are pretty hilarious.
advice: Don't wear a belt, too many metal accessories, or hard to remove shoes if you want to get through security quickly.

This is coming from someone who lives in Virginia. Once you get outside of the historical places, it's ****.
