Both excellent. Haven't listened to Ghost Mice in forever, moved out of my folk-punk phase a while ago.
Yesss I'm glad I'm not the only one, I don't really go through phases, but I ****ing love gypsy punk and folk-punk, I wish I knew more bands of the genres, especially gypsy punk.

1. Metallica - Yeh, they're douche bags. But they make awesome music. Except for St. Anger. Let us just all forget about that. Also, with the exception of S&M, they aren't exactly fantastic playing live.
2. Weird Al Yankovic - Doesn't have a CD I don't like, can't say that about any of the bands listed below, except tenacious D. This was also the first concert I ever attended, and it was fricken sweet :biggrin.gif:
3. AC/DC - Pure awesomeness. Especially live. New(ish) CD is pretty good too, sadly its an exclusive at Wal-Mart, which isn't very 'rock-like'.
4. Coheed and Cambria - I'm not big on their first 2 CDs, but From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness and No World For Tomorrow are two of my most loved CDs ever. Year of the Black Rainbow was good, but It doesn't compete with those two, imo.
5. Tenacious D - Geniuses. Not only do they have some of the funniest/most random lyrics of all time, but they can rock an acoustic guitar like nobodies business. Another band that you have to see live, its a fun show.
Steven Wilson's projects! What man can be part of 6 bands at once, release 2-3 awesome albums a year, remaster and remix EVERYTHING in his spare time, write a screenplay and make a movie all at the same time?
