The other night I had an alteration of the tried and true falling dream. I was a rod from god, Nothing says nightmare like a plummeting rod of tungsten.
I also have future predicting dreams.
The night before I went to school one day, I dreamed out like the whole day.
Sometimes I dream what TV show will come on and then watch that show and think "deja'vu!"
[And i don't know TV schedules except that adventure time always comes on at 7-8 P.M. on mondays]
So I was on this deck and well this guy from Japan(this bit means nothing) there and some other people and we were in some Africa like thing(as in to say it was like Africa but it wasn't, it was more some tropical sea with blue water. There was this person and she was telling us about random stuff, then this tiny dog just came out of nowhere(I don't know how it came) that would fit in someones palm easily with room to spare. Well this dog was very hyperactive and it jumped up almost into someones mouth(just missed, it brushed past his forehead) then someone picked it up with their hand and held it to their mouth and it crawled in. Then I woke up, I put my head up and thought I was seeing outside from the right way but then my view flashed back to the other end. For some reason I went to bed on the other end.
This looked a lot better than it sounds.

Talent didn't go anywhere, it just gets lost in all the noise. You have to find it.
Everyone says they have dreams that can predict the future, BUT THEY CAN'T.
No matter how much you remember the dream, or if you feel that you thought about it before, it's just déjà vu! Once the event happens, you feel as though you have dreamed it, you thought about it, but you never have, not once. It's just your mind playing tricks on you. Pretty creepy stuff if you think about it.
You can't really see the future, no one can.

...If you're having deja vu of something that has never happened before and you dreamed it happened, I'm pretty sure that's dreaming the future. Sure, it's still deja vu, but it's still a future dream as well

I am NOT going to see friend requests, so stop sending them.

Well, my point is that déjà vu ISN'T a dream. It's your mind making you think that you have been in/seen the situation you are in. Simple as that.
Now if you do have a dream, and it isn't really specific, like you had a dream about an oil spill a month before the oil spill in the gulf coast, and you talked to people about it, you thought about it a lot. Then you find out about the oil spill, you will have gotten lucky, and "seen the future". But if you are in an extremely detailed situation and you know you have dreamed about it, you haven't really dreamed about it, it's just your mind playing tricks on you, what some would call déjà vu. Hopefully you get what I mean.
Sorry for all that side tracking text, you can continue with the thread.
Well i don't know if you can say that for everyone. I had reoccurring nightmares about my dad getting in a car crash. I remembered them but thought nothing of them. Then when he actually did get in a crash i felt a bit responsible about it. (He didn't die, but he got injured a bit with a concussion but nothing much else.) So can you explain that?

Yes, I can. Like I said earlier, just a coincidence. You know about car crashes and you know about your father, therefore, you had a reoccurring dream about both small details. Those two things are common, though, so when an actual accident happened, you felt you had some sort of connection with it, but it was just luck, and coincidence. ;D
I had a dream that my cat was actually two cats that were pretending to be one so they could scam food off me. I got so mad that I put one in a bag and threw it at a wall.
No, it wasn't small details, it happened EXACTLY how it did in those dreams. That's the part which confuses me.
Hmmm.... I just can't believe that. So you're saying that you had a dream in which your father died, and you knew every exact detail that happened in the accident, but the only way you could know is if you were in the accident yourself. Unless you mean you had a dream after he died, then I can't believe that at all.
There is no way to predict the future, because it's impossible to go back in time.
As for my dream, I was cruisin towards this dwarf city, and when I get at the gates they're blocked with rocks, and I'm like 'eh, I'll go through that cave thar', and days later I arrive and I tell this guy to get rid of the rocks, that I had to go through catacombs to get there, and almost died fighting monsters (all in a really minecrafty way too), and then he asked me why I didn't go through the door next to the gate. My face must've been something like
In the end, I got the girl, my horse still lived and my friends went to the dwarf cinema. I continued to roam the outskirts of dwarven country to make a huge cartograph-like map so people knew what to expect.
That was quite the silly dream, too bad nobody (except me) ever reads these anyway .
Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. I read your dream, and I thought it was quite nice.
Only time it ever happens to me is when a cat's gonna die.
Hate watching it before it happens!

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.

I always thought it was rare...
It's normal. Everyone has several dreams each night, but rarely are they remembered.
Ah! well now i know well i think i knew that already but oh well :biggrin.gif:

Also, I've never had a wet dream, is that wierd?

I also have a few more dreams that are cool, if you don't try putting me down over them :tongue.gif:
