Guys, can someone help me to explain to my parents why norton is terrible? They only seem to think it's good because Comcast gives it to them for free.
Norton is packaged with most any computers for free.
It's free because no one in their right mind would pay for an antivirus that doesn't work.
IE and Microsoft Edge is basically cancer. I use Opera
Opera isn't much better IMO. Installed it because of compatibility issues with a site I'm working on and it looks about as bad as Edge (I suspect someone is ripping someone else off for their UI, can't tell which).
Edit: Scratch that, they do look a little different. I still don't like it tho. : /

100% Correct. I stopped using google due to an error in it not allowing me to watch inappropriate videos on youtube without signing in. I also didn't like the set up of it.
You need to sign in to confirm that you are old enough to watch that video, it's not an error
And what are you doing watching inappropriate videos, I thought MLP was kid friendly
I don't need to sign in at all. I just need to type 'Nsfw' before 'Youtube' in the link. I do watch MLP but I do watch other stuff that isn't appropriate to say here.
For a guy with a helluva load of privacy plugins, you seem to share a lot about yourself.
Because some people found out the only way to make them go "Pyokon" is to dedicate their laifu to their waifu. (That felt horrible to write, sorry for making you read that)
I woke up with a cut in my grundle because there was a sharp piece of plastic in my bedsheets. Now it hurts when I wipe.
Then I went to the Husky football game, tailgated and drank way more than someone ever should at ten in the morning, followed by the obligatory victory afterparty with too much beer.

Yeah, I'm living the friggin' American dream. Haven't done laundry in weeks; if it smells funny, spray it down with Febreeze and throw it on. There's moldy food in the fridge. I don't want to check the mail because I know it'll just be bills and spam from the local grocery store.
Dinner is a burrito with Velveeta and last Tuesday's leftover KFC.

Microsoft Security Essentials is packaged into Windows 10 as Windows Defender. That's all I ever used, and it works great. Least intrusive antivirus.
